Tests and Trials Game Thread

The next day if there is not time today, Kroshav would head out a half mile from the Library in five directions and sink a claw of the gloves into the stone to create a socket to place one of the sharpened saplings, topping each one with an impaled yeti head.

He'd want to begin scouting the western mountains for a place to lay Lurn to rest. 

Depending on whether Kroshav takes Eula or not, Cladmir would see if he can tag along with the argument that it's better to be safe than sorry considering the recent attack.  But if Kroshav heads out with Eula Cladmir will just be content with standing guard at the entrance and scan the area and be ready to raise alarm/run out to assist if anything happens.

Kroshav loads a bunch of rope onto Ealu's saddle, tying it off and tucking his axe in before extending a hand for Cladmir to pass the dragonborn his axe.

Jaq finally notices that Kroshav and Cladmir are topside in the snow again.   With a grimace he heads up quickly to talk to them.

"Where are you two planning on going?" he asks.  

"Do you want company?  Not the safest of places, here." he asks with a bit of a worried look on his face.

Cladmir handed Kroshav the axe and nods to Jaq.

"Aye -- there seems to be dangers all around one way or another."

"Finding a place for Lurn.", Kroshav adds tersely. He clenches a fist in Ealu's mane and starts walking towards the west.

"I would like to join you in that."

As the party leaves the library and heads out looking for a suitable site to for Lurn's resting place the gray clouds quickly darken. A light snow begins before the group has gone more than a half mile and quickly turns into a near white out situation, limiting sight to thirty or forty feet. It becomes rapidly apparent that finding anything in the storm will be by sheer luck.

Before the storm blew in, Jaq noticed that Kroshav's additions may have drawn the eye of anyone with a clear view of the washout but supposes a layer of snow should take care of that.

Kroshav turns back in a dark temper.

Cladmir follows quietly, although he is a bit weary about this near white-out and the potential threat of Yeti.  Due to the visibility he will put away his bow and discreetly ready his warhammer and shield.

Jaq follows, and follows Cladmir's lead and stays for the most part quiet. 

The small party follow their tracks back to the entrance where the pair of golems has become a quartet. The Librarian doesn't address the four as they descend but as soon as Ealu makes it down another pair of golems set about somewhat blocking the entrance.

The golems pause in their efforts and ask in chorus,

"Would now be a good time to lower a golem?"

All turn to face the group.

Kroshav raises a brow ridge at the others.
