 Melandra sends in another fire bolt.

 "I can not see the bastards."

"Ha! Got one."

 A twig blight attacks Kara

Two more of the creatures scuttle into the back of the room.

 Vishka slams her mace into the one attacking Kara

 Griell charges forward to meet the new comers.

 kara heads toward the last creature.

 The battle done Melandra sends cat to scout the nearby buildings.

The area is clear and they head northward toward what used to be a large tavern. Cat heads in and takes a look around.

A weathered signboard by the door of this large building shows the faded image of a workhorse holding a flagon of ale. The building is sagging and dilapidated, but it is more intact than the ruins across the road.

There are bodies slumped all around the room.

 "Could be undead, we should go in swinging."

The group rush in. The eastern half of the building is the old common room, while the western portion held the kitchens and the brewer’s vats. Huge wooden tuns stand to the west, and a faint smell of yeast still permeates the air. The ale is long gone. As they enter the slumped bodies groan and stir, slowly climbing to their feet.

 Kara begins to choke as a great cloud of ash billows from the zombie.

 "I hate zombies."

Vishka clutches her holy emblem and casts bless on herself, Griell and Kara.

 Melandra casts magic missile.

 She tears the nearest zombie to ribbons but it still stands.

 Kara attacks it, still choking.

 The remaining ash zombies advance.

The felled zombie jerks back into life and attacks Griell Attack: 22 Damage: 6 

 Blink scurried between one of the zombies legs and attacks on the way through.
