Rey's javelin... (17) pierces the madman. Yuron and Leofir destroy a skeleton. Orbis calls the fury of the gods onto the Lord of Lance Rock. He looks very hurt.

The glowing darts of magical force pierce the madman and tear him in two. The skeletons fall into piles of bones, and the hands go limp. The passage that the skeletons were guarding now lies open. Some light emanates from the tunnel beyond.
(You all gain 750 XP, taking you to a total of 1250 XP. This will bring you to 3rd level after the next rest.)

Leofir runs up to the cleaved madman, performs a Medicine check 14 to prevent his life slipping away too quickly. Immediately Leofir takes the rock out of his pack and bashes the madman's head multiple times with it. Either killing him again or making sure he stays dead.
"The score is settled, though I would have preferred to end him—the result would have been the same."
Leofir retrieves his arrows then checks the belongings of the madman to see anything of note like clues for the "plague" and any items or coins.

OOC: We should probably take a short rest to use any remaining hit dice, otherwise Leofir will get knocked down by a stiff breeze
The tools on the tool bench include saws, knives, awls, embalming tools, and metal bowls. Among them is a jug of grain alcohol and a cask of fresh water. Everything is very clean. The skeletons each have a shortbow and a shortsword. This doesn't seem like the main quarters of the Lord of Lance Rock. It is probable that those are either along the passage that the skeletons were guarding or in the passage that you did not enter before.

Rey's persuit grinds to a holt. Claws on great axe, he needs to stop mid swing- he looks around frantically for something, anything to hit. He buries his axe into the soil and unleashes another ROAR before falling to his knees and calms his breathing, coming down from his rage.
He collects his javelin from the lord's shoulder and helps Leo search the leader's body;
The Lord of Lance Rock is wearing common clothes and does not have any items on him.

Shaa does not find any passages, except for the very not-hidden one that the skeletons were hiding. The stairs lead to the peephole where the madman dropped rocks on you. There is a lever next to it that operates the trapdoor.

While Rey is sitting, he turns this bear tooth over in his hands, examining it. He finds a sharp rock and cuts a leather strap from his bag. He punches two holes through it using the rock, and threads the bear's tooth through the holes. He then straps it to his arm.
He mutters under his breath "May the Emerald Englave avenge your unnatural death. May we redeem you in righteous fury." The tooth glows an emerald green for a short amount of time before returning to normal.
Leofir sees Yuron loose an arrow at one of the skeletons and follows suit, aiming for the same one.
(If Yuron destroyed it, Leofir will aim towards one of the skeletons that blasted him instead)
He notches the arrow and pulls on the string carefully taking his aim then let's it fly...

If there is some cover nearby then Leofir will use Cunning Action to Hide behind it. Stealth (if needed) 26
