OOC: I thought I looted it from him, my mistake. Inseed We did take a beating last fight...thank the gods I had 2 crits.

Leofir helps drag him to the cage after we reconsider it. Then helps tie him up to the bars on the inside of the cage.

I assume Rey is going to be close to him, so Leofir will switch to his longbow and aim an arrow at him through the cage.

He will wait for him to wake up (after the others are ready) and tell him, "I suggest you stay down this time, if you value your life. Otherwise my feline friend turns you into a human scratching post while we three turn you into a pin cushion. You will nod your head for Yes and shake it for No. Any thing else and your tongue belongs to me. I am in no mood. My friends will ask you some questions, and you will answer them as instructed. Understand?"

After about an hour and a half during which you rest yourselves, the man comes to. He listens to what Leofir has to say, but defiantly does not nod his head.

Leofir says, "Rey, do something terrible. I don't think he gets it."

OOC: Can Rey attempt to insight check the man? He wants to see whether he understands our language and whether he is any kind of innocent or if he's just playing hard to get?

Rey opens the cage door, closing it behind him as he enters.

"Do you understand our language? Yes or no." He asks calmly, eyes fixed on his. Insight: 3

Shaa will step behind the man so he can't see him and use some of his magic so make cracking noises. 

"My patience is wearing thin. Make him talk or I will do something I 'll regret.... maybe."

He still does nothing, but it is clear he understands your question.

"Like I said we should just cut his tongue out, hand him to the authorities and be done with him."

Rey takes a step forward, locking eyes with the man.

”This is your last chance to give us something to work with.” He says with a deep growl. As he’s talking, he bears his teeth and brings a hand up, brandishing inch long, sharply homed claws which give an audible *shink* as they extract.

With Shaa’s crackling magic in the background, Leofir’s words and Yuron ready to cut his tounge out, Rey raises a single index finger to the man’s temple and slowly runs it down the side of his face, extracting a line of blood which runs down his neck. Getting real close, he whispers in the man’s ear “Because I don’t think it’s me you gotta worry about.” He whispers. “Give me somethin’.”

After the man undoubtedly says nothing, Rey turns his back to him and solemnly says "he's all yours, boys."

Inwardly Shaa is going to curse Rey for not being  coercive enough. 

But since he isn't very good at it himself he can't really judge. 

Moving  toward the back of the man he puts a Han  on his shoulder an  looks at the others. 

"We do still have his kid?"

A lie in the worst of cases but worth a try. 

OOC: would that contribute to helping the next intimidation roll ?

The man remains defiant.

(Make perception rolls if you want)

Leofir says, "Very well, I warned you."

He takes out a short sword and stabs it through the man's foot.

"Now the other one."

He does the same with his right, but does it slower.

"Start cooperating or your hands are next. This is dirty business and I don't like being dirty, so my patience is thin. A simple Yes or No is all you need, is that so hard?"

Leofir perception 18

The man nods. Leofir can see that his hands are moving in seemingly random patterns, it could be the somatic component of a spell.

Rey approaches the man and plants his axe firmly into his neck.

“Stooping to torture Rey? No matter how brutal you get, an embassitor for the Emerald Enclaive musn’t stoop so low. We are the keepers of all things natural and maintaining balance. This man is disrupting that balance. Granting him a swift release is the best thing to do.” Rey thinks to himself.

Rey cleanly lops the man's head off before the man has time to think anything else. Blood spurts everywhere, and the head tumbles on the floor.

"So now that that's over shall we carry on? This cave isn't going to explore itself."

Rey silently walks out of the cage and begins to head towards the small wooden door near the dwarf statues, slowly cleaning his axe blade as he does so.

Though Shaa did want the man dead now that it is done he stares at the headless corpse. 

"Ok, so who can talk to the dead ?" he half joke.
