“Hey, kid. Reckon you can vouch for us being the good guys here?” Rey asks. “Some good people on the outside seem to have got us mixed up with those other bad guys in robes...” Rey asks the kid genuinely, offering a charasmatic thumbs up while flexing his muscles.
Persuasion: 3
He’s trying to assure the kid for a reliable eye witness.
"Ok... If you want me to." The kid is scared out of his wits, and seems likely to do anything you ask of him.

The whole time on the way back Yuron will try and comfort the child and let him know everything will be fine and that we need his help to save the village.
Yuron is fairly successful in comforting the child, and they pass by the decapitated body without incident. As you head back towards the entrance, you hear a crashing sound then footfalls rapidly approaching. The group of guards runs around a corner to face you, crossbows ready to fire. "Unhand the child and lay down your weapons, or we shoot!"

Yuron will throw his hands outwards towards the guards "Calm down guys you'll scare the kid, I told you we would be a moment. We went to get the child so we could bring him to you his life was in danger. There are a bunch of bad men tied up by Waelvur’s Wagonworks and a few other ones down here who weren't so luck but they were sacrificing people down here and we think this child was next." Yuron will turn to the kid "Hey kid you think you can tell them what happened to you down here and who did this to you?"
"Dada put me down here. He said I was a bad boy." The guards clearly recognise the boy.

"Kid I think you'll have to go with the guards but tell them everything you know and try and answer their questions as best as you can." Yuron will glance at the kid then back at the guards "We did deal with one man but it was him or us and when you find them you'll notice we didn't harm the others that we tied up." Yuron will pause for a second before continuing "If you do plan on going deeper into this place to investigate be warned there were a some skeletons, few zombies and a lot of falling rocks." as Yuron shoots Leofir a look
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leofir does not have his weapon out, as he does not wish to provoke the guards.
"Rock traps indeed, nearly killed several times by them...We also came across an old man near a statue that we also let go. It appears a secret society of people called The Believers are making human sacrifices down here. Right underneath your very noses. This boy was the sacrifice, placed down here by his father who is one of these Believers, as punishment, he said. Also something about delivering a message from his dad, Rotharr Hatherhand to Ilmeth Waelvur. There is also an unconscious half-orc where we found this boy that was knocked out by a rock trap. He will have more information for you."
"We also investigated a plague at Lance Rock that was causing the dead to rise as hostile undead. While there, we found a clue that was tied to the activities taken place by these evil men. We were investigating the Believers in Red Larch which ultimately led us here and we were attacked by a group called the Bringers of Woe, so we were forced to defend ourselves. Just speak with Kaylessa at The Swinging Sword. She will vouch for our credibility about Lance Rock.
Not to mention Baragustas the carpenter, he will confirm that *we* were not the provoking party here. We spared him after he told us where to find our attacker Larrakh and promised to escort him out after finishing our investigation, which he will verify.
Finally, take a look at the symbol itself. I believe it will speak for itself and verify our story as I said it was seen at Lance Rock. As you can see, it is unopened since we intended to turn it to the authorities. It was from Mellikho Stoneworks...where you just came from, sir."
Leofir takes out the scroll and shows the Constable the symbol. However, he gauges the Constable's reaction to him looking at the symbol. Leofir does not initially give it to him and waits for his reaction to everything.
Perception 10 (is there anything visible on him that indicates he is associated with the Believers or Bringers of Woe?)
Insight 5 (what does his reaction to Leofir's long-winded exposition and his viewing of the symbol say? Does he look alarmed as if he has been in cahoots with the Believers or anything?)
History 9 (what does "Reszur" mean on the pommel of the dagger found at the offering?)
Insight 12 on Reszur if needed and why did it have dried blood on it
(He isn't showing the dagger to the Constable, yet)
The Constable shows no sign of recognizing the symbol. From what Leofir can tell, he knew nothing of the Believers, although he nods his head as though he has suspected such a thing for awhile.
The name "Reszur" remains a mystery. The blood could have come from many things, given the type of organization that the Believers are, possibly some sort of sacrifice. As Leofir mutters "Reszur" to himself, the blade gives off a faint, cold glow (dim light in a 10-foot radius).

Yuron is going to slowly reach onto his side for his coin purse (which i assume is located next to either his hand crossbow or hip quiver) and pull out 25 gold and hand it to the constable "Can you make sure this kid is taken care of? This money is for the kid, he seems pretty malnourished and thirsty so maybe get him a nice meal and search for some other members of his family to take care of him."
"Oh I can do that alright, but I don't need your money, which you probably stole. I'm gonna have to take you all in, but if your story checks out I'll let you go pretty soon."

Constable Harburk doesn't answer, but you notice that he doesn't lock the manacles, so you could take them off easily if needed.
