The party leaves the compound via the guard door and finds themselves before an open field. There appear to be for dark mounds in the field and not much else. To the north is a barn. Across the field is some small sheds. To the south is a path that leads to a number of small houses.....
Prisca mutters to himself as he examines the track. He then looks to the group and says "I have found some tracks that could lead us to Kip. The tracks lead to the West through the field"
The party makes it was across the field following the tracks. As the party gets closer to the 4 dark mounds they notice a light glow in the middle of them. Moving closer to investigate the dark mounds start to move. 4 rats the size of large dogs turn on the party. They seem to be guarding the glow. One attacks roll Initiative and post your opening actions when able.

18 - Survival - tracking
With an 8 you find a lot of tracks heading to and from the gate and the field nothing looks recent.
You find new tracks of someone wearing boots of medium weight. The tracks head across the field towards the west.
