Prisca will look at both tracks and checks to see if the tracks going towards the barn matches the tracks they have been following and whether the drag marks matches what a human would leave versus some other creature.
With a 15. You can till the tracks to the north don't belong to Kip. They are smaller, the size a child or halfling might leave. The drag mark is roughly the width of a human or other medium sized creature. You don't see any sign of a struggle.
"I think your right Jairo, these tracks to the north are smaller. Lets head west and follow the drag marks." Prisca notices Jairo and Lia's wounds "Before we leave lets heal those injuries" Prisca holds an outstretch hand as he chants softly and cast goodberry. He hands Jairo and Lia 5 berries each. "Please eat them, these berries will restore your health"

Jairo takes the offered berries from Prisca, an eyes them dubiously, sniffs them and then carefully places one in her mouth and bites down letting the juice fill her mouth before swallowing, all the time watching Prisca's face to see if this is some kind of trick or joke. She feels a warming sensation on her wound and glances down to see it's closed up a bit.
"Oh wow, that's amazing. Thank you Prisca. You should eat them Lia - they're wonderful!"
Jairo then proceeds to eat the rest of the goodberries smiling in delight as her wound closes up in front her. Once done she draws her bow again from her back and glances about to make sure no-one is following and waits for the others to lead off.
With a nod of gratitude to Prisca Liawenys gladly accepts the good berries, savouring 2 of them, yum, is that a hint of mistletoe? please give me the recipe later?...
...and to the group she says I agree we should head west.Anyone being dragged is most likely alive and under duress. We can check out the trail going north later.

Perception: 5
With the 5 you look around and don't see much it's a moonless night and pretty dark even with your dark vision you don't see anything. You happen to glance up and see the stars. Wow it's a beautiful night after 2 or 3 minutes, of star gazing you snap back to the situation and look around still seeing nothing.
The party finishes up looking around and healing up. <does anyone from the party grab Kip's sword>
As the party moves West following the dragged trail everyone remains on high Alert. Lia in back while holding rear guard you see a short individual no taller than 3' run from North to South. In the gloom of the darkness you can't tell where they came from or where they were going.
As the party nears the 3 small shacks on the west side of the field. Prisca you notice something is off the trail suddenly ends in the middle of the 3 shacks. The party is 20' away from the shacks and hears nothing besides the breeze.....

(OOC Jairo picked up kip's sword and passed it to Callahan.)
Jairo whispers to the others:
"I'm getting a little tired of those rats getting the jump on us, I can sneak up and try to figure out if kip is inside? Of course it could be a trap... I'll wait to approach until you're ready. Use a hand wave as the go signal."

Prisca gives the hand wave to go. He will maintain the cantrip as he cannot see well in the darkness of night and wait for Jairo. While he waits Prisca is vigilant for possible dangers. I hope Kip still lives.

13 - Perception
With a 13 perception you can't see much else all appears quite from the east side.
(OOC Jairo picked up kip's sword and passed it to Callahan.)
Missed this earlier. Callahan. Kips sword is a +1 long sword with the light spell enchanted on it. Please add it to your RP if you choose to use it. For now I'm assuming you put it away.

Lia stands near Prisca, looking all around, listening for any noises...quiet, please, everyone, there may be someone behind us...

...and not seeing anyone behind Lia says in a low carrying tone - looks like our back trail is clear... Jairo and Callahan can you guys breach the first hut please?
Callahan holds Kip's sword gingerly, surprised at its keen edge and polish even after lying in mud and filth. I hope to return it to its owner... he thinks, safely stowing it for now.
Near now to the sheds, Callahan looks around to exchange a glance with Jairo, but probably can't find her in the darkness. Gripping his sword and slightly-muddied shield, he prepares to advance on the nearest hut for a forced entry. He thinks for a moment, then stows his own blade to draw kips. Holding it for a moment, he whispers to it and attempts to activate the light spell within it. (is there a check for this?) Regardless of success, he will then try to approach the nearest hut, sword and shield at the ready, ideally with a bit of light so he can see his feet, and possibly any rats in front of him.
As Callahan pulls Kips sword back out it begins to shine with a brilliant radiance. (Callahan would not know how to control the intensity of the enchantment) Jairo this causes your eyes to shift from dark vision to normal. You can now see two Ratfolk thugs wrapped in a cloak hiding among the sheds. They are too focused on the approaching party and seem slightly stuned by the sudden light.
Jairo you can either take a surprise sneak attack before the start of the fight or be signal the party and loose your surprise and sneak attack chance for the first round but the party will have advantages for the first round as the ratfolk try to recover.
Either why everyone roll Initiative and post after Jairo makes her first move. Lia I got your 19.

Jairo carefully picks her way to ensure she doesn't make a sound and gets to within 10' of the sheds. She then peers carefully at the sheds, examining them for signs of traps, indications that someone is inside them and possible entrances (e.g. door, window, roof hatch).
Investigation: 15
(OOC: if it's a perception check then subtract 5 from the result)

It sounds like the party is going to continue West. When you're ready to move out can someone please post the marching order.
(OOC I am making a marching order. If anyone has objections just change the order.)
Marching order towards the West

2. Prisca - He will use produce flame - to light the way.
