Anders pulls the barb from his shoulder with a cry of pain.

"Gagh!" he gathers the weave around him in a soothing bubble and then sends it out toward the Manticore. He casts sleep 16

 The manticore readies itself to attack and then its eyes begin to roll back in its head.

The music of the unseen servant becomes a soft lullaby and the creature looks suddenly confused. It drops to the ground with a heavy thud and begins to snore.

 Thomas walks up and lays a hand on Elandra.

He breaths a silent prayer and casts Spare the Dying. Her breathing steadies as her body stabilises.

 Feldoran marches up and draws his scimitar. 

Reaching forward he draws the blade deeply into the manticores throat and spills its life blood onto the ground. It's eyes open and roll and its jaw works for a moment but to no avail. The manticore is dead.

 The door of the windmill bursts open then and Adabra comes marching out, rolling pin in hand.

She begins to batter the manticores corpse while releasing a stream of curses.

 Father Thomas waits for the dwarfs wraith to abate before speaking.

"We are pleased to meet you miss. Might we trouble you for a place of shelter where I can tend to my companions wounds."

 Adabra puts her hands on her hips and stares down at the unconscious Elandra.

"Well of course you. Brave bloody fools that you are."

 "We were lucky that the beast was already wounded and starving."

 "Got the dragon to thank for that you have."

She gives the manticore a kick, "The great lummox kept on raving about the white dragon that drove it from its home."

 "Yes it is the dragon that brings us to you as it happens."

Thomas explains their mission to Adabra as they walk inside. Anders insists of carrying Elandra, which earns him an eye roll from Feldoran and a narrow eyed stare from Toot. Thomas just shakes his head and walks in ahead of them.

 "Well that is out of the question. I am not going anywhere."

 "But the dragon?"

"Bah, I am too old to be worried about such things."

She waves her rolling pin, "If it comes here I'll shove this up its arse before it eats me."

 "Kinky."

 Thomas uses his healing kit to dress Elandras wounds.

 "Here this should help her along."

Adabra plucks a small vial from a nearby shelf and unstoppers the cork. She tips the contents into Elandras mouth.

 Elandra opens her eyes and sits bolt upright.

The others watch as a blue light envelopes her wounds and they begin to close. "What happened?"

 "You went charging in like a bloody fool that's what."

 "Well if you had found the damned trail she would not have had to!"

 "Do you want to say that again?"
