“Blend in with the other risen?” Daugherty responds, exaggerating his slouch ad putting a bit of a limp into his gait. “Couldn’t hurt, unless it’s the townies who spot us.”
Sep gathers his cloak and pulls the folds of it so that it covers the base of his neck. “I agree, we can run in like we are escaping. However, these folks just saw us executed. How do we explain that, or just hope there is no one that recognizes us?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"If the townies are worried about undead, I don't think they'll be inspecting everyone that comes their way. Let's get moving into town before those over at the graveyard notice us and see what those fires are about." Haleigh wonders as they move what actually did chase these people, "Another thought.. do you think they saw us come back to life and that's why they ran? But, it seems to me we had been dead for awhile since the sun has set."

Daugherty unties one of the colorful pieces of cloth he has on his gear as a bit of flash and instead ties it around his neck, kind of a cross between a bandana and a cravat. “Hiding our necks should be easy enough,” he points out and will work at doing little things to each of their clothing to hide their stretch marks, or using some more of his own flair, if they allow. “But our sallow complexions will take a bit more work…”
Deception? 28 - he does have a disguise kit in his pack.
“We can quickly change hairstyles a bit, I’ve a couple things that may help darken or lighten it’s appearance…” he says, rummaging in his bag even as they walk. “But face it, shadows will be our friends until we sort some of this out.”
Alcazar nods and turns up the collar of his frock coat, then accepts whatever ministrations Daugherty can manage. "All of us with rope burns might be a give-away, eh?" As they walk, he continues to fidget with his clothes, turning up the ends of the sleeves, and temporarily removing the lace from the cuffs.
"I'm not sure we should worry too much about being recognized: the whole town did not turn out, and most are there for the spectacle, not to look us in the eye. The guards may be a different matter." And I look forward to the judge recognizing me.
Rhiv just growls "I'm not gunna wear sum pansy scarf!" He instead grabs some mud and slathers it on his neck and chest. "Now time to find 'em that strung us up and make 'em pay."

Haleigh raises an eyebrow at Rhiv and looks a bit surprised as he rubs mud all over his neck and chest, but doesn't say anything. She silently follows the rest as they head towards town, wondering what they are about to run into. She is glad for the cover of night though, that should at least help.
She keeps her eyes to the ground, seeing if anything pops up out of the ordinary.
Daugherty pauses to look back at the engulfed gallows and watch it burn a moment. In retrospect he is saddened he didn't have the foresight to keep the noose from which he hung. It would have made an interesting a macabre keepsake... Perhaps just as well they burned, though. Who knew what a witch could do with such an item, if one believed the stories.
"So off to the town, eh? See if we can learn a bit of what all this..." he gives a large wave of his hand to take in the fires and the other walking corpses to explain what he means, "is about?"
"Or are we focusing on revenge?" He says, s if in counterpoint to himself. "We should decide on our priority before we get there... We likely want to stay more low key and not make any more chaos than we need to if it is information we are after. But if we're all damn it all, we want satisfaction... Well then chaos and mayhem are likely to our benefit."
Alcazar ponders a moment, "Perhaps...a little of both?" he says with a thoughtful smile. "Everyone likes a little revenge now and then, don't you think?"
Looking around at the distant fires, the tracks of the fleeing people, he wonders upon whom he might visit his revenge. "But, the sad fact is, other than that dreadful judge-y fellow, I don't really have a quarrel with the fine people of this town. More so with the institutions and blind prejudices that saw me so vilely treated." He straightens the lapels of his frock coat, then looks toward the town.
"I think we need information and revenge. But first, information. Where we might find the judge, who did...this?" He waves his arms at the general chaos, and then at his own pallid form, "...and how can we topple the regime that has treated us - all of us - so poorly." He scans his companions to see how they are reacting to his words.

They seem to have belonged to people, or at least some risen abominations with impressive stride length and speed.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Alcazar pauses, "Looks like a lot of frightened people," he says, eyeing the scuffed ground and trampled plants thoughtfully.
"Perhaps we should appear...a little distressed...when we arrive."
As they advance, he keeps a wary eye on their surrounds.
@DM: Just a reminder: he has Darkvision to 120', in case that was not clear.

Sep gathers his cloak and pulls the folds of it so that it covers the base of his neck. “I agree, we can run in like we are escaping. However, these folks just saw us executed. How do we explain that, or just hope there is no one that recognizes us?”

"Agreed?" he asks after a long moment.
Sep nods to Alcazar, his words make sense to him. He doesn’t have much to say except “Sounds right to me.” when he finishes.

(( I think Daugherty was offering to disguise anyone who was willing? ))
(in that case, Daugherty can make all the checks, though it seems that at least Rhiv is using... his own methods.)

Rhiv Dexterity check: 7
(Sep does have proficiency with it, but doesn’t have the kit. He’ll add the bonus but still roll at disadv.)
Sep Dex check : 15

((He indeed offered to help all cover neck marks and would add look more alive with d as one touches of makeup…))
If Daugherty had a disguise kit, Sep would certainly ask for his help with it…
