If you create a sound, its volume can range from a whisper to a scream. It can be your voice, someone else's voice, a lion's roar, a beating of drums, or any other sound you choose. The sound continues unabated throughout the duration, or you can make discrete sounds at different times before the spell ends.
I'm ok with if you think the dogs are too much. (Also range is only 30 ft)

Ok, np. I got screwed over by another dm the , lol…dogs are fine
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The barking dogs rile up the cattle and sheep and then begin to bleat and moo excitedly. You hear one of the sheep let out a horrifying sound and then go quiet.
Loran is peacefully asleep, head resting upon one of his trusty sheep, dreaming of his farm and it's nice peaceful fields back home. A sea of friendly little sheepies... Until his "pillow" OH so rudely shoots up to join the rest of the herd in carrying on as the "dogs" cause a ruckus. Flipping Loran onto his face and back into the waking world. He does his best to scramble to his feet as magic dogs and livestock alike howl into the night. "BUH-WHA?!" WHATS GOIN ON?"
(Sorry for the paragraph but i simply had to write this after sein that 2.)

High Hopes, Low Rolls. Timezone Is EST. Surely THIS one will reach an ending...

Hearing the horrifying sound of the sheep Sasha frantically rushes closer to the sound. "NOOO!" If she can reasonably target the beast she assumes is there somwhere she will use her sophoric fey magic to put it into a magical slumber. (Sleep 25) Otherwise she will use her fey presence to scare the beast away. (Wis save 14 or frightened)
As Sasha’s spell completes, a light, dust like sparkling mist falls over the area where the horrified sheep are struggling….seconds later it goes quiet. Several sheep plop to the ground in sleep and the other sheep seeing this decide the terror must be over and settle down. Still skiddish, but not panicking.
(You mean Sasha right? ;-) So I'm not sure but is it pitch black or can Sasha see any sign of the predator? I was unclear I guess, by reasonably target the beast I meant locating it and using the spell without the effect being soaked up by a lot of sheep.)

Yeah, Sasha..lol. Sleep is area of effect, but I didn’t count the sheep against the hp. If you go up to investigate you might find signs of the predator, but at this range you wouldn’t be able to see due to the darkness and talk grass
I dont believe minor illusion does sound, just imagery. I will double check thought

Sasha does indeed, to Acjots surprise apparently, go and wake the others.
Aaron sits up from his slumber at the sound of dogs barking, "Hey! What's going on?" He fumbles around, having difficulty seeing in the dark.

(So would the light of the campfire reach to the sheep?)
((Acjots thought that Sasha was too close with here sheep and recklessly went off to defend them, haha))

This is good, I like it
Some of them, but now they are really moving about and frantic. The firelight wouldn’t get you a good view, further it would be impeded by tall grass.

(Okay, thanks, so are we out of inititive?)
(Does Sasha still have some movement left? How far away are we?)
