As she wanders north, somberly herding the remains of her flock, Sasha notices something moving in her backpack and, without losing a stride, takes it off to curiously look inside, expecting a small animal of the forest to have snuck inside while they rested.
Perception if needed: 13
(Suggested marching order: Luke, Will, Loran, Sasha, Aaron and Gerty. Luke can make the last perception roll)

As Sasha opens her bag to take a peak at whatever managed to crawl within, she is startled to find a tiny fairy person sitting within, enjoying himself eating on a hunk of cheese. He looks up at her in surprise and smiles big. He is sort of rotund for a sprite, at least from what you have read about in stories. He says “ Oh, hey there. Pardon me…But the cheese smelled soooo good. I saw how well you handled those nasty goblin bandits and decided to join you on your adventures…iffin thats alright with you. I noticed you carry the scent of the fey on you. my name is Ufeli “
Sasha studies the rotund fey with curiosity for a moment before speaking, perking up a bit with the discovery of the unexpected passenger. "You'd better leave some cheese for me Ufeli, but I would be happy to have you along. I truly miss the fey and I could definitely do with some cheering up with all the tragedy that has befallen our little troupe of friends. Bring some cheese and come and sit on my shoulder Ufeli, the view is much better there than from the inside of my backpack I can assure you. You need to tell me where you're from and how you found me, I love a good story, especially when told by a fairy." She says with a warm smile and a soft giggle, helping the sprite up to sit by her neck as she continues to lead her flock north towards Mirabar.
After you make it about half a mile away from the ambush point you hear a subtle whistle in the air behind you at a distance, your keen eyes see a large Boulder flying in the air towards the battle site and crashes into the place where you all left. Lucky you were not there when it hit, as you can hear and see trees ripped from their roots.

Ufeli happily climbs out and with your assistance sits upon your shoulder. He has a little spear and shield which he uses like a tray to hold his hunk of cheese. He begins to explain how he got to you. “ well I come frum a small little woods near the south Fey. I was out on an erbs collectin venture when I herd a dainty woman’s scream. I rushed, rather heroic like, to rescue the damsel and got quite far from my patch o’ the woods. I got to the place where the screams were to be herd and found to my dismay, it twasnt a damsel at all, but just a bitty patch of screaming thistle.” He laughs a bit as he pulls a sprig of the thistle out of his bag. He gives to spikey blossom a little flick and it emits a feminine sounding scream, though not all that loud. Ufeli informs you that once picked, their ability to project is greatly diminished.
Loran follows along quietly, head hung low, silently kicking himself for letting some of his sheep die, The arrow in his backside really starting to bother him.

"Well, now you've found a damsel in distress, or at least one in dire need of protection, but I see you brought your spear and shield to valiantly fend off any threats towards me and my flock." Sasha says with a warm smile as she walks with lighter steps, leading her flock north. "Say Ufeli, would you stay around with me, I have a feeling you will have plenty of opportunity to show off your gallantry."
Luke turns back to the group "Make sure your animals stay on the path. There's a small group of boar about a mile down the road. They should leave us be but if they are hungry enough, who knows."
Sasha nods at Luke's words. "Ufeli, if that sounder of boar gets interested in us, would you consider luring them away for me, your damsel in distress?"Sasha says with a pleading voice.

Aaron hears and sees the boulder hit back behind them, and his fists tighten at the thought of the goblins. He says to others, "Had we stayed there any longer, a boulder would have hit us. We've got to finish the goblins off once we've finished in Mirabar. These roads aren't safe as long as they live..."
