From his vantage point outside, even before the window is fully open, Varlan quickly takes in the scene and notices the satchel of papers on the ground. He utters a brief phrase in a language that sounds elvish but is far older, as wisps of darkness rapidly gather about his body. In the blink of an eye he disappears from the stairs and reappears in the room, between the Tabaxi and the papers, blocking her path.
"Stay where you are and make no sound, noone needs to get hurt," he says, as sparks glimmer over his gauntlets.
He stands ready to attack if she moves for the papers, starts to calls out, or tries to flee.
The Tabaxi server gives a smirk. Then she hollers "Guard intruders". She quickly dodges the attack. the 2 guards outside immediately turn around. The first guard tries to the open the door, but he cannot find his key. The second guard pushes him over and uses his key. With a click the door is unlocked. The first guard pulls out a whistle and blows a shrill piercing note. Soon the party members inside can hear the loud steps making its way upstairs. If you had to guess, it is probably Brumak the black dragonborn coming upstairs.
So we're doing this, Finn thinks as she hears the sudden commotion and sees the guards start to move. "Cheaters!" Finn calls out at the top of her lungs as she jumps into immediate action, grabbing the dealers arm, planting the card she earlier palmed, planting it up his sleeves and pulling it down for all to see. ((Sleight of Hand 16 plus 6 from Psi-Bolstered Knack, if needed.)) "The house has been cheating us all along! They're stealing our money!"
Finn does her best to hold on to the dealers arm to make it clear there is an extra card stuck up his sleeve while at the same time struggling and hopefully turning the piles of chips into total chaos. "Look! The guards are running away! They must be in on it!" ((Persuasion to try to get all the gamblers in shouting distance upset, pissed off and suspicious 5 plus 4 from Psi-Bolstered Knack, if needed.))
Hopefully after turning the room into chaos, Finn then attempts to get lost in the crowd and head towards the door the guards opened...
Finn failed the persuasion check, but passed the Sleight of Hand check, without needing the psi-bolstered knack.
The dealer struggles to get Finn to release his arm. The patrons stop what they are doing an watch with a bit of curiosity and trepidation. The players at the same table with Finn is visibly upset.
(I will wait to see what Thordahr does to see if people erupt into chaos based on what he does)
Finn would do her best to spill and splash the poker chips all over the place in her "struggle" with the dealer, hoping patrons scrambling for chips would grab the guards attention away from the door. Either way, she herself would then head for it...
If there was something that the whole situation had taught Noah it was that as a thief he was an excellent bartender. After the trio was seen by the Lounge’s employees it was obvious that they should had scouted the inside of the room before entering. Sadly, they noticed it too late. Sometimes my genius is… it’s almost frightening, he said to himself with bitter irony while Varlan cut the tabaxi movements and Norros got a bunch of papers. No doubt important information, considering the henchman’s reaction.
“We are here to rescue you.” He said looking towards Ellis. “If you don’t want to believe as much just think - we are in conflict to the guys torturing you and trying to inject you with something. We are fewer that the staff of this place so at the very least you would have more chances of escaping from us than from them.” And they would have more chance to carry her to the Alliance if they got out of the Lounge. “Now, if you do not resist I can carry you outside this room.” Then he turns to Norros. “Come on, tell her to cooperate.”
Noah was painfully aware that he was not the most persuasive person in the world so he hoped for the bard’s intervention. His words should serve as some help to the half-elf.
Notes: Noah takes the help action to assist Norros in a persuasion check to convince Ellis to not resist being carried by the group.
Thordahr bellows," I knew it! IIIII knew it! Master Bartholomew always said the house cheated! He would come home night after night, sad from losing over and over again. And he caught the house cheating several times but to no avail. For who could he turn to for justice? Certainly not the thieves of this den. Look for yourselves! See the hidden card for your self! This place would have you be sheep.... To be sheared time and time again... Would you be sheep? .... Or would you be lions! Take back what they have STOLEN from you!" He ends with active fist pumping in the air.

Norros holds up the satchel triumphantly out of reach and says "And we didn't try to stick you with needles! Your choices are terrible, but you only have two of them. Quickly now!"

Norros readies to run back the way they came, readying himself for jerks to be out that way
The 2 guards pauses and looks towards Finn table, but intruders take priority and they enter the room. Seeing the scene before them, they make there way to Ellis Moir. The guards are 10 ft from Ellis.
Ellis weakly nods at Norros and tries to stand, but slumps back onto the couch as the drug has started taking effect.
At this time Brumak makes it to the second floor and is eyeing the floor for trouble. She sees Finn struggling with the dealer and makes he way her way to the table.
Having made as much a ruckus as she could, even if not as much as she hoped, Finn is letting go of the dealer and chasing after the guards, wanting to be behind them if they find her teammates…
Thordahr waits momentarily to see if he has any effect on the other players. hoping to tie up as much security as possible with the incident. If he see it has no effect he heads into the room and sets up his Emboldening Bond between Noah and Varlan and prepares for battle.

FYI @Makkiu and @Erreshion you have Emboldening Bond --> As an action, you choose up to 2 willing creatures within 30 ft. of you, creating a magical bond among them for 10 minutes or until you use this feature again. While any bonded creature is within 30 ft. of another, once per turn, they can roll a d4 and add it to an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw they make.
