Khessa helps with the loading, promises to be careful with both Miz'el and Xen'farya and NOT to mention Malekith. She also asks for more information about Miz'el, asking both about her physical appearance of her and her character (both qualities and defects... so she can better understand what to watch out for and what she might instead leverage).
When the drow finally declines the invitation for a drink, Khessa puts her arm over his shoulders and explains, "Malekith, I wasn't looking for company... I was trying to thank you. If you don't drink, no problem. Probably at least you eat, right?" she smles "I'll offer you something to eat that you like. I just want to say you goodbye... but not with words only. Do you understand?"
After Malekith leaves, Khessa begins to indulge in the less priority activities she had in mind (obviously not all of it today, she continues in the next few days as well, unless something makes her change her mind): - Visit the city in general (if Cedric likes making a friend of her, she does it with him, so he gets a new friend... and she has someone who can show her the most remarkable things in the capital; if she understands that he is not interested, she does not insist and goes alone). - Sell the ornate sword. - Find a blacksmith who knows how to work elven steel and find out how much he would charge to forge a chain mail for her with the metal she can supply; or how much he would pay her for the metal, should she decide to simply sell it to him. - Continue to study magic with Hadi (and use some of the money earned to copy Find Familiar from his spellboock to hers - obviously she also allows Hadi to copy spells, if he is interested in someone of hers) - Try to plan with T'bitha the future trip to a drow village in the Underdark to try to track down Xen'farya (maybe I play this explicitly as soon as I meet her again) - and of course keep an eye on her, in the meantime, since shadowhunters might be looking for her.
“So… think she’s ok in there?” Hadi says now that it’s just the two of them. “Laza is pretty sure no one is watching us at least. But now he’s off to hunt for a bit.”
You step inside and take a look around, T'bitha, the room is empty and pitch black. Thankfully you can see, with your darkvision, but you don't see anyone, let alone the person who spoke to you a moment ago when you were outside. You hear "finally" in a sigh of relief before a small light appears floating in the air. Next to the light you see a drow appear out of no where, but you only see the parts of her that are illuminated, a trick the shadowhunters use to stay hidden. She has long white hair with streaks of black in it and she is wearing sleek formfitting black leathers studded with mithral studs and a dark purple cloak with black streaks in it. The apparel of a shadowhunter. "Finally" she repeats "I can't believe it's really you T. I almost didn't recognize you with that haircut. It looks amazing by the way." You take look at her facial features, it takes you a moment, because it's been so long, but now that she's illuminated and visible, you realize the drow standing in front of you is Jez'ryl. One of your very good friends back in Neriak.
T’bitha’s heart stops momentarily as she looks over Jez’ryl. There is both relief and skepticism in her voice, ”Jez’ryl! It’s so good to see you. It has been some time. What are you doing here? And… why the apparel? I mean… why are you dressed in shadowhunter garb?” T’bitha is somewhat relieved to see Jez’ryl; however, she is not fully comfortable seeing how she is dressed without good justification. She observes her mannerisms to try and determine if Jez’ryl is wearing the wardrobe because she is a legitimate shadowhunter or if she is wearing them as a ruse to trick the Lloth serving drow.

She stays near the door, positioning herself offset from the doorknob such that she keeps left arm behind her back, hand on the knob. “I haven’t seen you since… well, it has been over three months. How are things in Neriak, sister?”
Malekith begins describing his sister to you, Khessa "My sister is about a foot shorter than me. Same skin, only hers is a much darker shade. She also has vibrant purple eyes. Last I saw her, her left arm was covered in tattoos of webs." He continues describing her to you "though she is extremely vindictive. I have the scars to prove it. Her bond to Lolth is near unbreakable, she claims when we were young she actually met Lolth, and was saved from slavers by her." As he puts the last crate in the wagon he turns and says to you, Khesa "It's also worth knowing she won't directly attack you. She'll toy with you at first, make you think you're going crazy. Get you to turn on your own. That is after all how Lolth trains her drow. To fight and hate each other."
Jez'rya responds to you, T'bitha"It's amazing to see you again. It's been very different without you. The apparel isn't important. I had to train to be allowed to come on your hunt. What is important is that they've found you. You need to leave now. They know about the tiefling you've been living with, you need to walk out that door, and directly out of the city. Leave everything behind and find somewhere new, because you're not safe here anymore."
(OOC: She seems to be genuinely worried about you, T'bitha, though it does seem like she's possibly keeping something from you. As for her wardrobe, she seems like a legitimate shadowhunter. Shadowhunters are the only drow you've met who are capable of going completely invisible while not in a lit room; and she definitely is capable of doing that.)
(OOC: OK, so, as written earlier, after Malekith leaves, Khessa begins to indulge in the less priority activities she had in mind. I'll give you the time to reply unhurriedly on these. If Khessa will - as I hope - meet T'bitha again, I'll roleplay the scene of Khessa asking her help in the plan to find a drow village and, possibly, information about Xen'farya)
Tristan looks worried as T'bitha heads in. After a few moments of pacing, Tristan replies "I wouldn't have agreed to let her go in alone if I thought it was a trap, but I don't trust that whoever was in there may have inadvertently given away T'bitha's position. I am going to climb up top and see if there is a back entrance and make sure nobody sneaks in from there. Keep watching this door. If there is an intruder, send Laza instead of calling out if you can, I would rather that they didn't know you have backup."
With that, Tristan starts to scale the building. If he reaches the top without issue, he walks across the roof and looks to see if there is a back entrance, as he said. If there is, he drops down to it.

”I can’t just do that, Jez’rya. I’ve been gone three months…three,,,months. The tiefling, my benefactor has been gracious enough to permit my living there. Now I have some new friends. I’m trying to re-establish myself. And now, you want me to just up and leave again? Where am I to go?”
T’bitha pauses to let that sink in a moment. “Seriously, what is going on that I am not safe here anymore? I have not felt safe since I left Neriak. What is going to happen to Ozemon? I appreciate the concern, Jez’rya. Really, I do; however, I feel you are holding back.”
She cautiously moves aside and turns the door knob, ready to make a quick exit. ”How many shadowhunters are after me? What about you, Jez’rya…are you still my friend or are you coming for me after this interaction as well?”
Khessa you return to the estate alone in hopes of Cedric joining you for a trip around town, but when you arrive you find the estate door cracked open, and as you get closer, you find Cedric laying unmoving on the ground just inside the house.
Tristan, you manage to scale the building with ease, and moving across to the other side, you come to not the back, but the front. Looking down, you can see a small square with multiple different little shops. The building you're standing on top of appears to have three different shops of its own on this side. The alley way is either an entrance to a large storage room for all three shops, or potentially another section of the building all together.
"T'bitha. It's D'gardron. He was to be executed for you escaping and deceiving Neriak, but somehow he managed to convince the high priestess to let him hunt you. When I found out, I did everything I could to get selected to come. I knew I had to see you. He means to take you back, no matter the consequences. I've watched him kill 13 people since arriving 5 moons ago, one was a guard, who worked for the priestess, and apparently he's who alerted D'gardron to you being here. T'bitha. There are 14 of us here and you know what the shadowhunters are capable of. They've probably already gotten to the tiefling. I'm risking my children's lives just sneaking off to tell you this, of course I'm your friend." She puts her hand on your cheek "you need to run."
(OOC: Tristan, knowing it drops down into a public area with multiple shops and a handful of citizens, do you still want to drop down, or would you prefer to stay up top?)
T’bitha’s heart stops. Her mouth drops agape and she feels her chest tighten as paralysis sets in. She snaps to once Jez’rya places a hand on T’bitha’s dark, lilac skin. “H-he is here? I- you need to leave Jez’rya. We musn’t be seen together. If D’gardron finds out that you were talking to me you and your children.” She stops and shakes the terrible thought out of her head. She opens the door frantically and looks back at Jez’rya one last time. “Be safe and by the moon of Eilistraee, get out of this city.”
She closes the door behind her as she steps into the alley and sees Hadi, but not Tristan. ”Where is Tristan? We need to leave...now. I did not realize how close the Shadowhunters were. They are already in this city. We need to warn Ozemon. Where is Tristan?” T’bitha’s voice borders on panic as she tries to convince Hadi they need to leave.
As you leave, T'bitha you hear "no, you don't get it. He'll kill everyone in the city to find you. You need to leave the city!"
Jez’rya’s words hit like a ton of bricks. She looks back at the door behind her and then to Hadi, “I… I’m sorry, Hadi. I need to go. I’m endangering everyone right now.”
T’bitha’s eyes well up with tears and her voice is choked up with panic and despair.
"Wai..."Hadi says as Tristan summersaults up the wall*. Then with a shrug looks around the streets sending a mental message to Laza to keep an eye out. He then begins to absentmindedly shop at the stalls around the area, flirting with any attractive shop keepers, though being sure to keep the entrance to the house within view.
Usually climbing is athletics isn't it? though with the 19 I'm sure your clear anyway ;)
It's not long after you turn and begin flirting with the nearby shopkeep, Hadi, that you see the door fling open and choked up T'bitha come bursting out.
(OOC: Yeah, it should have been an athletics check. I changed it over. It was easy enough and he rolled very well. I'd say with that roll, you even watched him scale the side of the building instead of taking the ladder that was 15 feet further down the alley!)
'Cedric!' Khessa hardly believes her eyes. She thinks the drow hunters are to blame. But she does not know what to think 'Did those vermins attack a house in the middle of a big city? During daylight hours, when everyone could spot them? Without fear of authorities or city watch? I mean... I thought things where different here... this is NOT Twardens! Not to mention that even in Twardens they attacked at night... But well, first things first'
The blonde arcane warrior looks out for danger or invaders, while takes care of the pour butler the best she can, trying to make him regain consciousness (or, failing that, to improve his conditions as much as she can).
"Almost as beautiful as your..." Hadi says to the shopkeep, holding a piece of jewelry before he's cut off seeing his companion come out the door. Placing the item back on the table he looks to the comely woman and says, "to be continued!"and then walks quickly over to T'bitha walking out the door. "Tab! Aw poor thing. It can't be that bad. Come come. There is some beautiful jewelry right over here. Let's eye shop and you can tell me about it."
T’bitha pulls back not wanting to get any closer to the main street. ”Hadi, you don’t understand. He is here. D’gardron, the drow that I was betrothed to. I naively tried to convince him to leave with me and follow a different path. I should have known that his devotion to Lloth is strong. I escaped him when he tried taking me to the High Priestess. Now, he’s returned to find me. I will place you…everyone… in grave danger. I’m concerned about Ozemon. I fear that he has been found out for providing me sanctuary. I need to leave this city quickly.”
She slowly begins to compose herself as the panic subsides and reality sets in, though it all seems so surreal still.
Khessa, you look around for any immediate source of danger, and don't find any. It's quiet, which you've found is normal for the area Ozemon's estate is in. You also don't hear any noticeable movement or talking in the house itself. Checking over Cedric, he's most definitely alive, thankfully. It takes about 15 minutes, but you manage to wake him and return him to the land of the living. "uuuuhh.." he begins rousing "What happened? Mistress Khessa? What are--" he seems to come fully to as he changes mid sentence "Master Ozemon! Is he OK?"
Hadi, as you attempt to return back to the jewelry stall with T'bitha in tow, you notice the young shopkeep looks visibly confused and a little sad, as you were just flirting with her.
(OOC: Dimitri, what are you up to after finding out the guards are looking for you still, and they have a good image of you?)
T’bitha jumps a little as Tristan drops to the alley. Upon recognizing him, she fills him in about a shadowhunter she was once betrothed to, how she escaped and now he is in the city with 13 other shadowhunters all specifically looking for her.
”Khessa, Dimitri and Ozemon may be in danger if he knows that I’ve been around you all. I am putting you all at risk right now, I’m afraid. D’gardron is in the city now. It is a matter of when he finds me at this point. I need to leave, otherwise he’ll kill more people to extract information to find me.”
