As Khessa calls out that the bulb is likely holding blood, Hadi suddenly drops his taking a quick step back, the look on his face of almost pure revulsion. "Well that is not at all what I was hoping!" he says, half to himself as the liquid spreads across the grass below him. He then says, "So is there some connection with the fog? Why would only this place be free of it?"
Hadi, as you drop this bulb thing, it does indeed pop open with a splat as it hits the ground. While the sound itself isn't loud, being the only real source of sound in this strangely silent forest, makes it seem louder than it actually is. As it pops open, some of this red liquid splatters onto your boots, but the rest that lands in the grass quickly sinks into the ground.
Tristan frowns as he realizes how close he had come to becoming a pincushion. "Let's get out of here, everything about this place bodes ill. We have wasted too much time as it is."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
"I also was wondering while the glade is not as 'veiled' as the rest of the forest, Hadi" replies Khessa to the elf. "With your mage hand, can you take a twig from the tree? Just to take it with us and try if it can get rid of the 'veil" if brought in the forest... Just a try. Might wrll be the glade is unveiled only because the veil effect comes ftom the other trees (and in the glad there aren't)"
Dimitri snorted a laugh as he saw the horrified expression on the noble elf's face. That was gold. He glanced down at the ground, the fruit seemed dead indeed. He called up his invisible mage hand, plucked a fruit, dropped into his own palm, studied for a moment, feeling the pulse in his hand. "You know, there might be something to it." He said, having a feeling about the tree's ability to dispel the fog. He let his mage hand take the fruit inside the fog, watching for any changes.
Dimitri, your mage hand carries the strange fruit out of the glade, disappearing into the darkness beyond. There doesn't appear to be any noticeable change, you bring your mage hand back into the glade, the fruit is still there.
Everyone please give me a perception check with advantage, due to the silent and motionless nature of this forest.
Tristan frowns as he realizes how close he had come to becoming a pincushion. "Let's get out of here, everything about this place bodes ill. We have wasted too much time as it is."
T’bitha turns to see that Tristan is standing near her at the tree holding one of the pods. “Please bring that pod back. I’m curious to look at it, if you’d let me, Tristan.”
Before turning away to heed Tristan’s warning, she looks at the tree again, “Eilistraee, grant me thevisionto see around me.” She stretches her right hand out, fingers splayed as if she were holding an invisible object and twists to the left and right slowly. Her eyes appear to illuminate dimly as all evil illuminates within 30 feet of her.
"Ugh..." Hadi says as the blood splatters onto his boots. With a wave of his hand though it quickly disappears, leaving the fine leather again spotless. He then sees the fruit invisibly float to outside and makes a mental note to research how to create his hand invisibly, thinking, "now that's a cool trick that would be useful later on."
He then stops as the others ponder the tree and the fog around them and notices the silence again, as if for the first time, and lets his elven eyes, though more accustomed to the city than the woods, really take in what's around him. ((Perception 24))
Your enhanced vision doesn't spot any aberration, celestial, elemental, fey, fiend, or undead in your general area, however it does reveal this entire glade to be consecrated ground, and a a chunk of land on the other side of these trees on the backside of this glade. Meaning, you'd need to exit the glade, and follow the trees to find this other section.
A few moments after Dimitri'smage hand brings the red fruit back into the glade, all of you hear an extremely loud crashing sound, what could only be described as something massive smashing into trees, or perhaps trees themselves smashing into each other.
Hadi
For a split second in this deafening sound, you swear to the divine you see an octopus' tentacle momentarily break the veil, entering the glade. Only, this tentacle was about 40 times larger than an octopus. It was only visible for a split second, so you're not sure if your eyes deceive you or not, but there is something out there. Something big.
As the forest around them crashes, Hadi spins around reacting to it, clearly surprised. A split second later his eyes go wide and he nearly stumbles backwards towards the tree in the center, just catching himself as he remembers the spikes and blood bulbs. Almost instinctively he places a hand on his chest as a faint shimmer surrounds him, fading into his cloak. He then stammers as he says, "W... What was that?!"
"Something big incoming, maybe" reflects Khessa quickly. "If it is following the fruit, we should leave the damned thing here and retreat in the forest. Let's leave the glade and go around it. Now. Not eager to argue with something big enough to crash trees, when there is no compelling reason to".
And with that, she starts going. Before exiting the glade, the warrior-mage turns her head in a flourish of blond curls to see if the other sare following her. if they are not, she stops (not to get lost alone) and waits for them; else, she leads them back in the forest.
T’bitha reacts to the sound of crashing trees, seemingly all around them. She spots Khessa who appears to coax the group back into the forest and she runs in Khessa’s direction shouting, ”This glade is consecrated ground. I fear we may have made something or someone very upset by pulling the pods off that tree!”
She unsheathes a longsword as she stands next to Khessa looking all around for whatever is making such a racket and will follow Khessa if she goes into the forest.

Tristan shrugs his shield off his shoulder and into position on his left arm, tossing away the pod in the process. He follows T'bitha towards Khessa, hopefully reaching her before she steps out. "I am getting the feeling that we are unwary prey caught in the trap of a hunter. If the tree creates these blood fruits, what eats them? Whatever it is may have noted our presence here and be waiting for us."

Seeing that the others are getting ready for action, Hadi thinks to himself, "surely it wasn't actually there..." and begins to follow Khessa's lead towards an exit, though pulls his whip from his side and unravels it in case anything should approach that might actually be small enough to deal with. Though he's still pretty clearly spooked.

"They grow these pretty fruits to draw us close, and when we come into the trap, they tighten the snare." The corner of his mouth twitched into a sneer, a brief flash of white between the lips. He followed others back out into the forest as he seamlessly pocketed the fruit. "We look a lot like fat, stupid rabbits right now."

Wisdom save 10 (If it is against being charmed, Tristan has advantage. Here's a second roll if that's the case 5)
Shaking his head, Tristan attempts to rid his mind of the malign presence.

You also manage to shake this weird feeling off, just before coming into contact with the tree, Tristan. Thankfully.
