[If Eberk's attack hit:] Seeing the crab momentarily disoriented by the light, Bjorn snatches his club off the sandy beach and surges forward, taking a mighty swing at one of its legs. [Greatclub with advantage:] Attack: 21 Damage: 8
[Otherwise:] With one axe already back in hand thanks to Sparhawk, Bjorn pulls loose his other one and throws them both. [Two-weapon fighting, first attack:] Attack: 8 Damage: 5 [And second attack:] Attack: 25 Damage: 3
Vars takes a deep breath and holds it as he carefully aims his shot. Not taking any chances, he sends his arrow between the eye stalks and deep into the crabs flesh. The arrow embeds itself up to its feathers.
A white bolt of holy energy bursts forth from Eberk’s hand as he holds tight in faith to his holy symbol. The crab lowers itself in preparation for another attack and the bolt just barely misses its large frame.
sailors from Dock one and 2 are rushing to aid any wounded and still living from dock 3 and the bells are still sounding. Lights appear all along the top of the wall and you can hear the sounds of men at arms rushing to the beach.
Sparhawk thinking he sees another good opening throws another javelin, but. This time his aim is off and it bounces harmlessly from the mighty shell. Bjorn throws his trusty hand axe and follows up with a dagger. The axe misses its mark, but the dagger strikes true. The blade penetrates near the maw of the crab, drawing some blood.
Seeing two of his men destroyed, the first mate from dock 4 rushes into melee with the giant beast, like a berserker from the northlands he will slash at one of the legs, hoping to hobble it.
Attack: 22 Damage: 7
the crewman1 will follow the first mate and thrust with his spear. Attack: 5 Damage: 5

With a heroic swing of his cutlass, the first mate hacks a nice hunk out of one of the crabs legs, causing the creature visible pain but not slowing it down any. Crewman1 thrusts, but misses as the crab moves it’s legs in reaction.
While the sailors battle the beast close-up and personal, Frangipani pulls more of the green liquid and sends the poisonous concoction at the crabs face.
Sorsha reloads and takes a quick aim with her crossbow, firing another bolt at the immense crab. Light crossbow: 11 Damage: 7 She then keeps falling back, making sure she is out of reach of it's mighty pincers.
Again, Sorsha’s crossbow bolt fails to penetrate the thick armor of the crab. The enraged monster will bring both its claws to bare on the First mate and the crewman from Dock 4.
Crewman1 is able to dive roll out of the way of the giant claw, but the first mate wasn’t so lucky. The crab scoops him up, crushing his bones in the process. His insides spill out his mouth as the crab drops him into its waiting mouth, consuming him whole.

Vars deftly circles the crab, doing his best to keep a fair distance away so he can use his arrows rather than his swords. Aiming again for the soft spot, Vars ignores the gruesome sight of the dead sailors and releases his arrow.

[Ah, yes -- the Warlock lifestyle of "I move out of reach and pop off my ranged attack," rendered in painful clarity, lol.]
Quickly running out of strangers to take the brunt of the crab's fury, Bjorn aims to delay it until backup can surround or restrain it. He tosses his crystal focus into the air and calls out the magic syllables taught to him by his patrons -- and the crystal flashes with sickly green light.
