Ok. Well as a free action (Friend of the Sea), Lir is going to absolutely scream at the wee biters RUN OR DIE!
He casts Cure Wounds on himself 12
And use the remainder of his movement to travel 30 ft.
Lir yells at the fish which startles them into compliance and they streak off into the depths. Lir is able to swim 30' without hitting an adverse current
Frangipani stops and looks back, seeing no one dead or unconcious she turns back and keeps swimming towards the ship.
Frangipani speeds up toward the ship and catches a purple current launching her the rest of the way to the hull. There are several of the glowing orbs floating nearby and a few seem to be coming from inside the upper floor cracks in the hull
(Have we figure out what the glowing Orbs are yet?)
( We're about to.)
Frangipani headed for the glowing orb furthest from any others and reached out toward it tentatively.......
As Frangipani reaches towards the orb it move towards her outstretched hand and delivers a jolt of electricity
Doing 17 lightning dmg. The orb is completely destroyed in the action but just before it bleeds, Frangipani could feel its gooey texture, very much like a jelly fish minus tentacles
" Ow....ok then." she pointed towards the highest concentration of jelly balls aiming at one in the centre...
Ice Knife: Attack: 13 Damage: 9 piercing damage then DC 12 Dex save or 2 cold damage.
She moved back 30ft from the wreck....
Frangipani’s ice knife pierces the jelly ball and it breaks apart in an electrically charged smudge. The other balls drift away slowly from the area as the things remnants dilute into the water

" Right then...."
Unsure of how many skeletons had survived, and the mysterious cephalapod she trod water as she waited for the others....
After what seemed like ages, struggling against the strange colored currents and bitey fish swarms, all of you finally meet up in a Lir bubble approximately 30' below the fractured hull of the Kraken. You can all see clearly the circular marks the size of a man's face all across the wooden sides. There are few more of those shock blobs floating about above and below the ship, but the pathway to the large gap that Lir and Frangipani entered previously is clear. So far there is no sign of the skeletal crew Frangipani and Lir encountered earlier, but Sparhawk can feel the undead essence with in the ship.
Sparhawk looks at each of his friends, feeling relieved that everyone is still alive and hasn't drowned. "Alright Frangipani and Lir, what did you find in that ship so far? Do you think its worth going in?" He looks at them for their opinion. "I feel the presence of undead in there, and being that its the Kraken, is it possible this is Sorshas crew mates?"
(Sorry I forgot to roll my D20 for encounters in the water)

Same for Sparhawk

Sparhawks javelin strikes the retreating swarm and spears two of them
Vars shot goes wide of the last fish, but he gets a break and catches the purple current and makes a full 30' of progress
Sparkhawk swims upward 15' and then gets slammed by the orange current knocking him back down a notch with a net loss of 10'

(Have we figure out what the glowing Orbs are yet?, also would athletics or any other ability help us predict the currents less randomly)

The d20 is your check. They are completely random and thus unpredictable

(Geez, Frangi is pissed)

"Well we already did a rummage" - and Lir pulls out fistfulls of gold to show the others.
"There is some copper coin if that is of interest...."
"Hum, anything this key might fit in?" Sparhawk produces the key found in the kitchen. "What do you suppose the skeletons are guarding?"
