(Are we still in Lir's bubble? If not should we be making Con saves or something for holding our breath?)
Vars grimaces as the Skeleton strikes at him (they are using swords right?) With Skeletons crowding around him, Vars grits his teeth for a moment. His bow isn't much use if the bastards are this close... With a chuckle, he is suddenly propelled upwards through the water as if some current sprang up beneath his feet (Zepher Strike), this pushes him upwards and out of the Skeleton's reach for now, blood trailing from his new wound as he drifts. He grins as he points his bow downwards at the skeleton that had managed to hit him. (Since we are underwater I thought it would be cool to use that to our advantage lol)
He overdraws just slightly, knowing that the arrow will need a bit more force if it is going to push through the water and still do enough damage to his target.

( you can hold breath for 10 rounds before it becomes an issue)
the Power of Vars Zepher Strike sends the arrow crashing through the skeleton skull, shattering it and sending its now lifeless bones. To the floor in a heap.
The fragments pass through the spaces in the adjoining Skeletons structure missing them, but catches Sparhawk, causing him to miss with his mighty swing that surely would have crushed the boney undead thing.
Vars notices some movement through the water from just above him from the hole in the deck above the cargo hold. He catches a glimpse of a barely perceptible translucent tentacle reach through and grab hold of Reginald and yanks him up and through to the next floor just a few feet from where Vars is floating.

Eyes wide, Bjorn struggles his way out of the A8 hole, away from the tentacle. He brings the crossbow up and shoots, too early, too low, but the weapon's magic attempts to drag the bolt back on target to skeleton #2, curving the trajectory and tearing off the top of a waterlogged barrel. Attack: 14 Damage: 12
He waves with one hand, indicating for Vars and the two druids to get away from the hole in the ceiling.

Bjorns bolt magically finds it target and embeds deeply into its grinning skull, fracturing it but not finishing it off. The Skeleton, unable reach Vars as he is floating near the ceiling moves after Bjorn. It steps out of the hole in pursuit and immediately sinks in the water. Bjorn watches as the skeleton tries swinging at him with his scimitar all the way down into the depths.
Attack: 5 Damage: 7
as it goes down, it meets up with an orange current and it’s bones are sent scattered into the abyss
Pointing at the ceiling, Lir, let's loose Thunderclap blasting sound above at the creature ambushing from the upper deck, while yelling using his Friend of the Sea ability -

Vars's eyes widen as he sees Reginald pulled away by a large tentacle. He looks down to see Bjorn fighting off the skeleton that had tried to attack him before, and readies his bow to help his friend...he'd intended to move off to the side and away from the hole in the ceiling, but his thoughts prove much faster then his actions. He attempts to dodge the tentacles, but his movement away from one simply lands him in the clutches of the other one. A few air bubbles exit his mouth as the muscular appendages close around him.
(Can we have positions of skeletons and crew for round 2 pl?)

Here is the approximate positions. When you move state the block numbers so I can be more accurate
Frangipani sent an Ice Knife at one of the bony things (Skeleton 3).
Attack: 5 Damage: 9
Then all creatures within 5' ( S4, S5 and Sparhawk) make DC 12 Dex Save or take 10
Sparhawk, now quite familiar with Frangipani's spells, tries to avoid the icy knives from behind. (Save: 5
Feeling the waters resistance, he swings his slow moving warhammer (Disadvantage) knowing that if he hits, the skeleton (4) will take more damage.
(attack with disadvantage to skeleton 4, damage dice x2 for bludgeoning) : Attack: 7 Damage: 21
Frangipani’s ice knife blows out some of Skeleton 3’s ribs as it cuts through the water. s4 & 5 saves 7, 3
The fragments pass through the spaces in the adjoining Skeletons structure missing them, but catches Sparhawk, causing him to miss with his mighty swing that surely would have crushed the boney undead thing.

The three remaining skeletons try to mob attack Sparhawk
Attack: 24 Damage: 12, Attack: 24 Damage: 9, Attack: 16 Damage: 8
Two more tentacles reach through the hole and grip tight onto Vars as he floats near the opening ( make 2 str checks dc17)
and suddenly the cargo hold goes completely black as a stream of dark ink fills the water.

The thunder rings out in the darkness and you can hear debris being shifted around and thump on the floor of the cargo hold
