Bjorn nods, and picks the torch back up. "Here's a signal for help without yelling." He silently casts Minor Illusion, and the sound of a particularly creaky door can be heard.
[Not sure where we're going but I'll follow, lol.]

( Ufeli disappeared through the northbound door in the western hallway. The hallways where the devil came from are dead ends)
We all head down blue hallways, two doors, two teams. Team 1 south door. Team 2 upper door.
Team 1 tries the door, it is not locked but is stuck or jammed by something on the other side. Team 2 heads through the archway into a 30x30 room with one door heading out to the North ( where Ufeli went through). This room is fairly barren but clean. On each wall of the room is a tribal mask that looks a lot like a monkey wearing feathered headdress of different designs. The masks to the east and west have open mouths and the ones on the north and south have closed lips. Next to the door is an empty coat rack with a gnarled staff leaned up against it. On to of the staff is a carved beetle and surrounding the upper portion are a series of small holes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Frangipani turns into a draughthorse....albeit a blue draughthorse with a few too many fins to be honest......and shifts around until she can kick the door with her rear legs.
"Ufeli left this room and died, so let's be more careful than he was." Bjorn looks over the curious staff, passing his torch near the top end in an attempt to see inside the holes.

Attack: 24 Damage: 11
Frangipani the water horse blasts the door with a mighty kick sending it flying open. Just inside the door way are a pile of burnt corpses of indeterminate origin and they surround a body of a young human female wearing scarlet red robes. She looks to be at least a few days dead and the room is filled with the death stench appropriate to the situation. It appears she was engaged in battle with the toasted ones
As Sparhawk moves closer to get a better look at the woman’s corpse he can feel the deep taint of evil wafting from her. The look forever sealed on her face wasn’t one of fear, it was sheer malice. Twisted in hatred. Her body is riddled with wounds and slashes and long healed scars. Her red dress is made of a fine, thick silk like material. There is a pattern within the red in a deeper shade that looks like a series of tortured, anguished rotting faces. In her forearms you see a series of small colored gems or some sort embedded into her skin in strange arcane patterns. Several on her right wrist area seem to be scorched and shattered. Around her neck is a golden collar with no visible seam and from the center dangles a small crystal vial filled with a purplish mist caged in by what looks like golden thorns in spiraling, interconnected patterns. On the southern/ outer wall you can see her entry point into the tower, a precise hole burned through the stone, just large enough for a song bird to enter. You reason the burnt corpses surrounding her must have been tower guards or lab assistants.
Sparhawk initially starts to reach forward to look at the bodies, but sensing the evil and malice, holds a hand out to stop Frangipani. "Hold....This is not good. I think she perhaps entered here?" He looks at Frangipani. "Perhaps, like you, she could change her shape. I feel like she attacked these guards here. Look at these skulls, these wounds, this necklace. I believe her to be pure evil. I would guess that anything on her person, particularly if magical, is powerful and perhaps cursed. He thinks for a moment. "Remember that Butterman character. He turned on Abernath. Not sure about this one, but I don't like this at all. On the other hand, perhaps an assassin of sorts, sent to take Abernath out?" he muses.
"I suppose, we could have one of us see if anything here is magical, but I'm worried." He yells down the hallway. "How's it looking down there boys?"
Here is the map thus far. The blue dot is the Marduk statue, the red splotch is where the devils came from and where the bones are piled
[Where did Ufeli run to?]

(We'll have team Sparhawk/ Frangipani search the two red hallways further, than catch up with
Team Bjorn, Eberk, Lir who can head past blue to the two passages/ room farthest south/ east.)

We all head down blue hallways, two doors, two teams. Team 1 south door. Team 2 upper door.
Eberk makes his way down the hall and readies his hammer and shield next to the south door.
Lir follows, casting Resistance on Eberk.
Frangipani crept forward down the passageway, trying to keep quiet and listen for danger...

Stealth: 7
With Sparhawk will also look around to see if he sees anything. 24

Frangipani shrinks back into humanoid form and leans on Sparhwaks shoulder, " She did well for herself. You gonna loot the body, boss?"
“Well, these are… interesting.” Eberk says as he stares at the masks.
Sparhawk yells down the hallway, “we got a two day old human women here with a bunch of burnt corpses. Looks like she took em out with a spell.”
he looks down the hall. “What you got boyz?”
he looks back at the horse/ Frangipani
“some day, I’d like to learn to do that! Let carefully take a look.”
