Sparhawk ignores his new friends suggestion "Perhaps we should eat a bit, have a short rest, and then head to a market for some supplies?" (DM: how much money do we start with?)
Bjorn blinks, waiting for a sign that Sorsha is joking, but she's not. He sighs in exasperation. "Never mind. Let's eat."
He looks at Frangipani and sleepily mumbles, "Ah, perhaps Eberk will take you up on that. Unless his path forbids... That particular mode of travel..."
Usually like 10g when you take the equipment. It’s possible for more isn’t you didn’t select starting equip when making your sheet. There, I added your 10gp. Your going to have to earn your cash and equipment the old fashion way in this campaign. Robbing, stealing, and good luck…also selling/trading in merchandise when you have gathered some.
"Yes, I suppose it's time for breakfast." Sorsha says as she realizes the sun is getting up and that the crew have been out on this mission all night. "We should get some rest too, we need to be ready when we investigate that wizards abode."
"So you can turn into a horse then?" She says to Frangipani as they all head back to the Cutlass for breakfast. "Can you stay a horse for the whole trip then or how does that work?"
(OOC: Did they have rooms at the Cutlass? Is that where we have been staying recently? I assume we need to rest to not get exhausted.)
Sorsha will have an early and hearty breakfast at the Cutlass and then retire to her room, suggesting the crew meet up in the afternoon after resting for a late lunch, then go shopping, using the 500 gp for what is necessary for the crew at the moment, then go and investigate the home of Abernath the Infernal, and depending on what leads come out of there leaving for Mirabar as soon as possible.

" I'm not sure....probably not...I've never done it before...but I'm pretty sure I can."
Frangipani retreated to her room where she used the fireplace and her own rather battered supplies to whip up a batch of jambalaya and took bowls to each room of her companions and captain...leaving it at the door if they didn't answer.
Then ate the remainder and curled up on the floor of her room to sleep.
Sorsha would open her door and gladly accept the bowl of jambalaya, thanking Frangipani, joining her as she ate it and praising her cooking. It seemed Frangipani was not only the crews banker but also an excellent cook which always was good to keep morale up when on a mission away from taverns.
Sparhawk thanks Frangipani for her kindness. He eats and goes to sleep. He continues to think about being taken advantage of by Fist. He's not going to let that happen again. (DM: Did I see anything with my perception and divine sense in the room with fist?) Roll was previously.
Vars also accepts his bowl, eating that rather than buying anything from the Cutlass. He thanks Frangipani as well before heading to his room to get some rest. He continuously runs his thumb, wondering what would happen if they for some reason had to break their contract.
Eberk happily takes his food and goes to get some rest. He intends on making a list of supplies the group should get, but ends up falling asleep before writing anything down.

Nothing that you did not already see. He is as legit as a criminal boss can be. His reputation is harsh but fair. He doesn't tolerate violated words.
Bjorn eats at the bar, and also eats what Frangipani made. He's used to not being able to eat at all, some days.
The next morning, Bjorn finds a bath if possible, and leaves his old clothes in the trash. He uses Disguise Self to fabricate a clean and moderately well-off set of illusory clothes, so that when he shops for clothes later, merchants won't be able to tell he's desperate. Desperate people get charged more.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After compiling the shopping list, Bjorn casts Distort Value on Sparhawk's chain mail, making it appear twice as valuable as it is. He heads out to the south market, assuming it's the furthest one from the north market. His disguise: himself, but not naked. He buys anything on the list he can find besides the two most expensive items, which would be the two sets of armor. He attempts to haggle for basically everything. He does look for a seller of armor, and if they'll buy the chain mail for around 75gp, then he sells it to them. Mostly he's there to observe them, though, because he's planning to impersonate them later.

Probably not in the inns kitchen, but you can cook it hobo style
“I don’t need a ride, but I would be happy to help make some food. We would do well to pick up some supplies before we leave.”
“Great, so we’re eating? Right. Let’s get moving then,” Vars starts walking towards the Cutlass.

( yes, you have rooms at the cutlass)

And because he's in the City of Sails, he puts his coins in his waterskin and fills his coin purse with pebbles. ;)
( ok. Good setup. Let me create the shop and keeper. And see what the dice say about it all.)
Sparhawk can join for persuasion/ intimidation fun
