Logan Initiative:  8

Dr A looks up from his scrolls and {Initiative roll = 15}

(Owlbear's intiative) 13

 Roaring to the defiant humanoids that dare not to be his dinner, the owlbear jumps ahead, breaking low branches of the trees as it charges forward, determined, or so it seems, to have a suculent meal with them. 

Dr. A, however, finds the scroll he was looking for and raises his eyes towards the creature.

“Ahbut Gorm and Logan, be good fellows and make that creature cease and desist would you?” Dr A asks of his companions “here this may be of assistance?” As he uses his meta magic ability to cast Shield of Faith on them both.

Logan:

Smiling at Doctor A’s formal manner as the arcane protection settles upon him (AC is now 20), Logan moves up to the large creature and slashes at it with his sword, then spins and shoves it the same direction with his shield, hoping to knock it down to the ground and make it vulnerable to Gorm’s attacks!

Longsword Attack:  Attack: 7 Damage: 12

Shield Master Shove Athletics: 25

Logan Athletics:  11

(If he manages to knock the owlbear down, he will use his action surge to attack it with advantage)

Conditional Attack:  Attack: 23 Damage: 13

Logan charges against the hulking creature. The owlbear raises on his aft legs and for a moment they both stand their ground. Logan keep pushing with his shield and make the owlbear to take a step back. The beast steps in a half buried rock covered with moss and it slips and falls to the ground, roaring.

Logan takes advantage of that and tries to swing his sword against the creature. He does cut the fur of the owlbear but the beast is still rolling due to his fall and Logan's steel doesn't make a great wound. 

Upset the beast try to maul Logan, moving its great claw to sweep one of the fighter's leg, then, it stands again and launches it self forward, trying to cut Logan's arm with its beak. 

Logan's fighting instincts serve him well and he avoid the sweep on his leg and uses his shield skillfully to deflect the powerful beak. 

Gorm sees an opening, now that the beast is focused on Logan. 

     Gorm grimaces as she watches the creature strike out at Logan and moves in to strike while drawing her blades.  Positioning herself behind the creature she slashed out with her first scimitar and then uses the momentum to stab with the other…

Attack 1:  To hit - 16,  Damage - 7

Attack 2:  To Hit - 19,  Damage - 5

(forgot I was trying to flank… pretty sure those hit anyway and no nat 20 on next two rolls so *shrug*)

Gorm scimitars cut true into the beast hide and her steel tastes blood, but the best seems more annoyed than hurt.

The owlbear grunts and looks both Logan and Gorm, raising on his aft legs to be more imposing and threatening.

(Dr. A.'s turn!) 

Dr A looks up from his scroll and idly traces a tattoo on his hand and a flash of light streaks toward the owlbear as he casts Guiding Bolt Attack: 18 Damage: 16 at the creature.

In case I get the cheat banner I rolled an '18' to hit and caused 16 HP of radiant damage.

The creature is now outlined in a dim light granting advantage on the next attack.

The golden light strikes the owlbear in the chest, spreading from there up to the rest of the body, making it glowing a little bit. 

The beast growls in pain as the light burns his fur and flesh. 

Logan:

Inspired by Dr. A’s magic that both protects him and hides his attack, Logan lashes out with his Longsword at this dangerous creature.  He no longer attempts to drive it off, as he is concerned for the safety of any who travel this road it they are to fail in dispatching it.

Moving around in front of the beast and trying to keep its attention on him, he says, “Such an aggressive beast cannot be allowed to hunt travelers on this road.  We must kill it since it does not fear attacking us…”

Longsword attack with advantage:  Attack: 24 Damage: 14

Making good both of its reputatation and Logan's words, the owlbear recklessly attack both Logan and Gorm with fury.

The fierce best moves faster that both warriors expected for a creature so injured and they both got slashes by the creature's beak and claws. However, beating her, the owlbear has exposed itself for Gorm's retributio.

Gorm grunts as the creature’s beak clamps down on her shoulder but is already ducking and moving to her left and flashes out with her blades once more in a counter attack. The two scimitars cut deep into the beast's belly and rear side. 

The owlbear let her go and take a couple of steps forward. It roars one last time and drops dead into the forest ground, slowly bleeding from its wounds.

Logan:

Taking a gulp of air and pushing the pain of his wounds to the back of his mind, Logan prepares to engage with the beast once again, but Gorm’s skill with the blades makes it unnecessary.  Wiping the blood off his Longsword on the Owlbear’s pelt, Logan asks, “Is there any part of this creature that might be useful?  Should we skin and dress the carcass?”
