Gewyn stands, trembling and immobilized, bloodied from a number of vicious wounds and stares at Elthana. Some emotion, strange and terrifying, passes behind the eyes of his slack expression, and it sends chills down Elthana's spine. Muir sees it too, and he can feel his flight instinct trying to take hold.
(Elthana and Muir make a DC 14 Wisdom save. 8 Or lower means you are terrified and can't move. 9-14 means you must use your next turn to run away)
"Behave!" Sam shouts to Neferox in a commanding, pissed off tone. The beast was attacking Gewyn. Gewyn was attacking Elthana. None of this made any sense at all! Venting his frustration, Sam slams his maul down on either side of Neferox - First he shoulders Iver aside to move W then NW to be flanking D3 between himself and Neferox for an attack, then he moves NE, E, E, SE to move into flanking of D6 with Neferox before using his second attack. (D6 does get AoO when Sam first starts his half circle of movement around Neferox...)
Attack 1 vs D3 - 26 to Hit, total of 18 damage (maul + Giant's Might)
Attack 2 vs D6 - 23 to Hit, total of 11 damage (Maul + preroll of a 2 for a different 2...)
Whether both deer are downed or not, Sam turns to look over at G2 and scream "Gewyn! You behave too!"
As Sam pushes Iver out of the way, the deer to the east of him (D6) attempts a feeble and inevitably unsuccessful reactionary bite at the large half orc as he moves away, Sam decimates both deer knocking the first solidly into the ground and as he circles around Neferox, he splits the second one in half breaking it's back and tearing the main body of its flesh into two dripping chunks.
None of the Gewyns' respond to his yelling.
Iver, now that he is free of direct melee moves south to the two Gewyns' currently unconscious on the floor, "which one is which? What should I do?" He yells out to nobody in particular as he prepares to give help to anyone willing to heal one of the Gewyns'.
The chill that starts from Elthana's spine from the look she gets from the Gewyn in front of her travels through her body and gives her a flight instead of a fight response and she runs behind the next large tree that she can get to that keeps her away from G2.
Once there she tries to break the spell, and instead of overcoming it... she becomes completely terrified and is frozen in place.
Neferox freed from the deer but being threatened by Sam seems she thinks for a moment about attacking the big man as she growls and threatens him in return. Instead, as if in spite with a desire to show him how stupid he is she suddenly looks at Vin (who suddenly says: "Oh! That makes sense! Okay Nef") then back at one of the gewyns and leaps for the gewyn that suddenly made Elthana afraid.
As soon as she gets close enough to them she begins to maul at that gewyn making two biting attacks on them as they snarl fiercely.
Her first attack goes wide by a bit coming up just short of that gewyn. Her second attack however finds great purchase in the flesh of them. She rips and tears into them much easier then the tree things. The black hound growling with rage as they mercilessly tear into one of the gewyn shaking them back and forth in their fanged maw. Their red eyes seemong to flare with a need to kill them.
Attack Bite 1: 11 miss
Attack Bite 2: 27 crit hit. For 24 piercing damage.
Vin for their part moves away from the deer once again provoking an attack of opportunity from the deer as they say "Ack! Common deer! I'm trying not to kill you. You're just a victim too." As they manage to extricate themselves from the deer attacking them the young man makes his way over to the downed Gewyn and pulls out a small container with ointment and begins to spread it over his wound. As he does so he tells Iver, "Hold him. Don't let him move or cast spells. Nef says it's controlling him. He'll likely attack us but I don't want him to die so we just got to be ready." Once Iver has a good hold on him Vin will finish applying the healing ointment healing Gewyn. [8 healing on the bleeding and downed gewyn]
Muir, sees Vin heal who they believe is the real Gewyn , and commands his panthers to continue to attack those that are not his companions. panther 1 attacks a deer: 11 hit 5 damage
panther 2 attacks a Gewyn: 18 hit 6 damage
panther 3: attacks a Gewyn: 22 hit 6 damage
panther 4: attacks a deer: 15 hit 3 damage
Strength save if any moves 20 feet for a pounce
Muir satisfied his panthers will take care of the enemies turns to try to find the source of the magic. He lifts his trunk and breathes in the woods trying to find a Fey smell that doesn’t belong.
Muir shouts to the others “that Gewyn standing up smells strongly of Fae. Attack that one. The Gewyn on the floor smells of nothing. It’s an illusion. The Gewyn Vin is attending to us the real Gewyn”
Neferox tears at the gewyn left standing after Elthana hastily made her escape.
Two panthers turn in place also tearing at the standing gewyn who seems to be getting battered around more than anyone could manage to withstand.
One of the panthers attacks the deer that was chasing Vin around but misses, only causing it to stop at the moment to engage the beast instead of Vin, the final panther tears successfully at the next crazed deer which takes enough damage to maim and at least cripple an ordinary deer, but this one stands defiant, but losing blood fast.
The deer rear back and attack their perceived attackers
Attack at panther 1, to hit 14, damage 5 bludgeoning
Attack at Muir, to hit 16, damage 1 bludgeoning
Iver continues to hold the downed Gewyn as vin applies his healing ointment.
The Gewyn being held down by Ivern comes to, his head rolling weakly. He looks up at Vin, making no attempt to free himself and says with a grimace, "I guess I'm still alive. Heh-*cough*" Flecks of blood spatter down his shirt. "Well what are you doing wasting your time with me? I'll be fine. Go get 'em" And he gives Vin a bloody smile that could only come from Gewyn.
"There you are!" Sam sounds loudly with a sneer and already on the move. Sam bulls his way through the brush and branches (move SE, SE and then South) to deliberately put the one specific panther (2) between him and Gewyn so as to be able to attack it with the best advantage possible...
Attack 1 versus the panther: 17 To Hit and 13 Damage plus 4 more Damage from Giant's Might
Attack 2 versus the panther: 14 to Hit and 15 Damage... This hit shoves the panther five feet East with the intent of putting them into reach of Neferox so they too can attack.
"Here!" Sam calls out while swinging his great maul. "This is our true foe!"
Neferox may hear not to trust anyone but that doesn't stop her from focusing on her target at all. She was honed in on this thing no matter what it looks like. The hound leaps at Sam her teeth snarl as she lunges at the big man. Luckily, Vin was quick and managed to shout out "Wait! Nef! Not him!" Which gave the hound pause at hearing his voice causing her to hesitate and the two bites aimed at his tendens to hobble him come up short. Her teeth snapping twice in empty air.
Attack bite: 8 to hit
Attack bite: 11 to hit
Vin having revived Gewyn and receiving some kind of magical power from his voice nods to Iver and aims two blasts of eldrich energy at the Gewyn slinging magic at his friends and Nef. Nef said they were the target before they suddenly turned on Sam. Gathering two motes of raw magical powwr he lines up the shots and sends two blast directly into that gewyn. After hitting them he looks back down at the one he revived and says "Glad you're back. Please don't make me regret this but.... Iver, let him up. I think he's okay."
Attack Eldrich blast 1: 22 to hit 8 force damage
Attack Eldrich Blast: 2: 18 to hit 13 force damage
Muir watches Gewyn stand after Vin helps him with some healing ointment of some sort. Muir feels a relieved seeing his companions pull it together but that feeling did not last long as Elthana runs and hides frozen behind a tree, Sam then pounces on one of Muir's panthers sending it back to the Fey world, and Nef attacks Sam. Then 2 of his own panthers attack, turning on his companions. One attacks Gewyn missing while the other attacks Iver doing 2 damage. Muir's last remaining panther kills a deer. Muir angrily drops concentration on the spell sending the panthers back to the Fey.
He attacks the deer closest to him and misses (11). Muir grows tired of this Fey. He twirls his walking stick over his head and jams it into the ground. He begins to shine brightly as a magical quiver of arrows appears on his back. He commands the arrows to attack the fey causing everyone to lose their minds (9 to hit). Despite seeing through the illusions and not be charmed he fails at hitting anything.

Elthana finally breaks free of the spell and runs back into the frey, directly at the Gewyn she knows to be a fake. Flanking the Gewyn with Nef, she attacks the creature with a right jab, then a hook, finishing off with a side kick.
Gewyn (5) shakily stands to see confusion and chaos all around. His eyes lock on the one who looks just like him as it is pummeled by Elthana. "You," he whispers. "You are the cause of all this. No... this is... my fault. No more." He breaths heavy as his hands slide toward his knife sheathes. Fear begins to give way to shame. Then shame to anger. He grips the bent knife he had used on the wolf at the beginning of the journey, and the memory of the blade connecting gives him some small dose of confidence. His other hand grabs another knife. He steels himself, and then rushes at the false Gewyn's back while it is distracted.
He plunges his first dagger into its back and is surprised by how easily a blade slides into flesh. The imposter turns around, and for a moment Gewyn is face to face with himself. Both Gewyns look horrible and bloodied. Then Gewyn screams in defiance and, emboldened by the success of his first strike, stabs his second dagger directly through the thing's neck.
Attack 12, Damage 7 (4+3)
Attack CRIT, Damage 6 (6+0)
He watches as the other Gewyn gurgles, blood bubbling from its neck wound. It staggers, nearly collapsing to its knees, and Gewyn thinks to himself, I did it? It's done!
Then his vision goes black as darkness spews from the false Gewyn's mouth, enveloping him and everything within 15 feet. He feels his enemy pull free from the dagger in its neck, and then footsteps stumble hurriedly away
"No!" Gewyn screams in rage, lost in the darkness with a jumble of emotions. "Don't you dare run now. Get back here and face me!!"
Once the panthers are gone and Elthana violently bursts into the scene everything seems to slow, gewyn faces gewyn, his fake mimicking mirror still attached to his side, one gewyn plunges a knife into the others throat and tears downward with fervour spilling the blood of its enemy, the enemy in a desperate attempt, belches out darkness. The attacking gewyn shouts out clawing at the air in front of him, the secondary clutches its throat and each of them fall back away from eachother unresponsive.
All at once the charms and illusions that swamp the clearing are done, Sam and Neferox's heads clear and their thoughts become more reasonable. The last remaining crazed deer freezes up, apparently unable to continue moving, before it crumples to the floor succumbing to death. The darkness evaporates before it even has chance to spread.
One of the Gewyns' bursts into light, the second Gewyn turns into a sprawled out deformed deer with two faces, in its humanoid form the not deers antlers form a jagged and pointed beard-like structure under its chin, and it's blacked clawed hands curl impotently as it chokes its last blood filled breath. The final Gewyn is laying in the floor, eyes pressed close, breathing heavily, clearly still terrified.

Vin and Nef both have extremely different reactions. The contrasts in the personalities become very clear as Vin's kind heart brings him over to the terrified and exhausted Gewyn laying on the ground to help him and Neferox has a sudden growl as she looks around and spots the not deer as she rushes over to its body and begins viciously mauling its body in vengence.
Vin sits down next to Gewyn and places a hand on their shoulder very gently to let them know a friend is near. They look at Gewyn and say in a calm voice to try and help Gewyn "It's okay. It's dead now..." Vin looks up at Nef's snarls and the sound of ripping flesh then back to Gewyn "...even more dead. Are you alright? I got more of that healing ointment if you need it." He looks around at the forest surrounding them and then back to Gewyn "I think we are safe but... it's going to be dark soon. Think you can move?"

Neferox will use the next few minutes to make a particularly bloody mess where the not-deer used to be. There won't even be a recognizable body left after she's done and her body will be covered in blood from the savagery she placed upon the creature. The only part left semi untouched (still horribly damaged) is the head which she seems to leave so those coming after it will recognize it and receive a warning of what happens to those who cross paths with her.
Sam stands his ground, hands clenched around the shaft of his maul, body tense like a spring and eyes darting around the field of battle looking for his next opponent. His eyes look over the survivors, the fallen, and the tree line searching for more threats… But mostly his eyes fall on Neferox, on Gewyn and on Iver. Eventually the Half-Orc’s pulse begins to calm and his muscles relax, but not as quickly as they normally would. Not by a long shot. The wet, thick slurping and ripping sounds coming from Neferox too reminiscent of the sounds of his attack on Gewyn, the real Gewyn (maybe?), for Sam to relax easily…
“#^<£ing Faeries!” Sam eventually calls out for all the world to hear. “They’re bastards!”
Sam eventually stalks over to Neferox and watches her devour her meal for a long handful of moments saying nothing until the beast eventually looks at him. “You… you touch any one of us again… or something looking like one of us.. or vaguely resembling one of us without clearing it with me first and we’ll settle the issue for right good. You got me?”
“Fricking make believe faeries!” Sam calls out again, less forceful this time and still warily eyeing Neferox. “How’s Gewyn?” Sam calls out and uses his concern to finally break away from Neferox. Sam heads over to where their companion lies and asks “He going to live?”
Muir watches the mayhem end with Sam threatening the dog. Muir bends over the Gewyn that turned into some Fey creature. He ignores the dog tearing up a not deer and the real Gewyn bloodied and battered. He begins to examine the body to determine what kind of Fey it is but also for any clues of bigger plans(6 investigation for clues 20 dirty for Fey identification).
As the not-deer is torn to shreds and Gewyn is attended to by Vin, Elthana looks around at the clearing wondering how this all happened. Using her hands to try and stop the flow of blood from the gashes on her body she can reach, she focuses on Gewyn. "What do you remember? I, I am sorry for attacking you."She looks down, unable to meet his gaze once she says this.
