"me!? No, well I suppose yes, it's was a group effort but... before the group was formed, before there was three when there was just the raven queen as one... A replacement is an interesting thought, would that be for Nivara? Or a replacement for Vox? I have thoughts on both..." Morris puts the glass he was polishing away and leans forward on the bar with keen interest.
Muir sips his hot chocolate before speaking up "Hmm well It was my suggestion to Daudi that she and her brother take the place of Vox being there are no primordials here and they would be the closest thing to Lim, perhaps together they could keep the world from shattering. She seemed to think she would not be released from her curse or purpose...she was not very forthcoming with what that meant, so she believed her brother could handle it. As for capturing Nivara....We would have to defang her....We can not allow her to be a lich captured...she would surely escape....I try not to resort to violence but with Nivara.....a vampire is one thing like Sergor to be dealt with but a lich is a different story...no it is best to rid this world and other worlds of this abomination as long as we can make sure Elthana is safe once it occurs."
"curse!?" Morris chuckles, "no Daudi is not cursed she is blessed, she has potential to do so much more than she does and we gave her that blessing... A champion of the raven. But both her and Ömertyr could not bear the responsibility. It would tear Ömertyr apart and Daudi's involvement could cause a celestial war. I'm unsure what you mean by close to Lim though, a primordial may be needed yes. But I'm not sure how Lim factors into things? If only we knew of a creature who was actually birthed by vox..."
“Well Lim and Vox are siblings aren’t they? 5 children, 4 sent to other realms… Each of the children sent to other worlds to populate and “rule” over. Lim went to the earthen realm and populated the land with giants and dwarves and the like….So if they are giants they had to have come from one of the siblings of Vox several times removed of course…So you see Lim holds the earthen realm together as Vox does here….which is why I suggested Daudi and O together but if you think that’s not a good idea then perhaps restoring Lumithor? He is a child of Vox no?”
"Nivara tried to kill Lumithor. Well, killed Lumithor. That makes sense if he is a threat to her. But doesn't Lumithor have an important job already? Or could Daudi perhaps relieve Lumithor and guard the gate?", Vin says actually looking up this time.
He spots Gewyn and chuckles, shakes his head and hits the book again.
Gewyn looks down his long nose in mock disapproval at Vin's chuckle. "Sshhhhhhh,"he whispers harshly, pointing to a sign that appears next to him reading "Library, Please Keep Quiet."
Morris strokes his whispy white mutton chops in thought. "The reasoning is solid. Though the thing keeping Lumithor in his state is his duty.
Lumithor is indeed a birth child of Vox in a way that Daudi and Ömertyr are not, though their giant blood could likely help them carry Vox's burden temporarily. Lumithor will live in his state as long as he does not turn from his duty, and his primordial ancestry makes him perfect for it. But therein lies the problem his spirit cannot give up on its duty completely without expiring that was the deal he made when Nivara fried his body... If Ömertyr can take the burden and get to Lumithor then Lumithor can take over it, I'm sure he'll agree..."
At this point Xazgan comes thundering back into the room and shoves two barstools together sitting on them and leaning over the bar, her horns scratching the ceiling slightly and she listens.
Vin has no more to add to the conversation now they look to have reached a workable plan. He doesn't want to break the silence of the library again, so he tries to merely concentrate on his book.
However, the shoving of stools together and scraping of horns on ceiling are enough to distract him once again. He contemplates the demon for a moment, looking as though he might speak, but he thinks better of it.
Lumithor. Why, that made sense. But how would they orchestrate all that? Elthana shakes her head. She was going to concentrate on Nivara and what needed to happen there, her friends were more than capable on dealing with that situation.
As the demon joins them in lieu of throwing the temper tantrums she did at their last visit, Elthana turns to her, "Do you have anything to add?"
“I don’t understand this….Why can’t Daudi leave and help…it seems that O defending the portal to Nectyran is a tall order for a Giant, no pun intended, but the two of them together could do it especially with the blessing of this tree house. If they were to guard the gate together then Lumithor could come and help against Nivarra.”
"as I said, if Lumithor turns away from his duty entirely then he will expire. But wait, Do we know how Vox's burden is actually transferred? Lumithor's spirit can leave for a moment or two but if it is some kind of physical burden then his body would be needed and that cannot move from it's place." Morris asks trying to puzzle out the situation too.
"None of this is my problem, I gotta focus on getting stronger to guard my own gate. Maybe make some plans at getting back at the lord's of hell who killed me last..." Xazgan replies gruffly to Elthana.
"Maybe I misunderstood when you said if Ö could take the burden and get to Lumithor then Lumithor could take over it...I mistook the take it over for Vox's role.....Did Vox have any other children?"
“If Lumithor can’t leave, I don’t see the point of sending O or Daudi to him….Seemes we should visit Dunn then to see if Vox has other children….i think the Djinns should gather and hold a meeting so we can lay it out for them. We risk our necks to save their world afterall….”
"you have gathered many allies. I don't believe that the burden will kill Ömertyr instantly, he may have time to get to lumithor and pass it on, with Daudi's help. But I do agree, a meeting of the djiini, a physical one not constrained by manipulation by Nivara, it would certainly help. Whats going on with the rest of you then? It seems your powers have grown, all of you, but there is one of you that is have specific interest in." Morris grins his eyes keen for gossip and his gaze lands on Gewyn.
"You've been gone a long time, how do you know the lord's of hell are even still the lord's of hell? With the lack of loyalty down there it must lead to quite the turnover of lord's. Perhaps that is what led to your previous death?", he says to Xazgan idly.
Elthana gets a bit lost in the back and forth between Morris and Muir. A meeting between all the dijiins would be interesting. She hopes it would be fruitful, but seeing how the committee at Marblestead did nothing but argue, she isn't going to hold her breath.
Instead she relaxes on her barstool and continues to drink her hot chocolate, Morris's words about her not being ready swirling around in her head.
Gewyn folds his book back closed and places it on his lap, features sliding back into his pale changeling form. "It is true we have changed. It would appear that death was in my destiny long before I knew you. Makes me wonder if you perhaps knew that before you gave me your blessing"

"hmmm, not that it know of, but I think Duun would know more on that... Well do you have a plan then?" Morris asks more cheerful now.
“If Lumithor can’t leave, I don’t see the point of sending O or Daudi to him….Seemes we should visit Dunn then to see if Vox has other children….i think the Djinns should gather and hold a meeting so we can lay it out for them. We risk our necks to save their world afterall….”

Muir raises on eyebrow at Gewyn's statement...."What do you mean by this?"
Elthana's attention turns to Gewyn and Morris as well, intrigued.
