Grunting in pain as the shark abomination's teeth slip between the scales of his armor. Smashing with his shield to cause a diversion he swings his mace at the creature again.
Ridani cries out in pain as the shark abominations attack has left a bleeding gash on her side. Blood flows from her wound as she presses her hand against it in hopes of slowing down the blood loss.
Knocked to his knees by the brutal attack Dex feels the power of his deity flowing. He stays kneeling and makes a desperate attack to down the abomination. He holds his holy amulet and points to the creature. "Estver goldhiem encesti!" A brilliant light streaks from the amulet to the creature. Casts guiding bolt
With that vicious slice Ridani kills the shark abomination. Captain 3 Earrings and her crew were able to route the other enemies. Some of the crew are severely injured or unconscious.
Dex rapidly starts to examine the crew and will attend to healing however possible. If anyone is unconscious he will use a spare the dying cantrip to buy some time. After that he will find the worst of the injuries. Once he finds that crew member he nods his head and speaks a curing phrase "Findal ol rrin" and looks to the member. A faint glow is present for a moment as he channels Avandra's power into a healing. (uses channel divinity to heal 10 HP)
He goes and finds 3Earrings. "How long before land fall and a time to rest? I have nearly exhausted my abilities for the day. With some time I can bring more to better health but it will take some time to heal everyone."
"We will make it to the deserted town in a 15 minutes."Captain 3 Earrings takes the helms herself barks orders to keep watch as you docks at the still standing half of Palma Flora. She finds you later "Get some rest we are going to go right into their lair soon enough." She has crew members on shift to keep a close watch on the ocean.

Can a move be made to disengage and still use a spell attack? Hoping to get moved back far enough to use a ranged spell without disadvantage.
No. Disengage would be using your action. You can disengage and cast a spell if it can be cast as a bonus action.
You don't need to cast with disadvantage as Ridani faerie fire is till in effect. Advantage negates Disadvantage so you can cast the spell normally

Pretty amazing hit point rolls both levels, I am going to end up operating like a mage or get really good at healing I guess.
