Seeing the last zombie fall, Lintran moves closer to the Haregon "are those things common around this area? Is there something we can do to prevent them from rising again?"
He then proceeds to take a closer look at the corpses, careful not to touch them, and takes a small notebook and quill to write something in his journal. Suddenly remembering his manners, the minotaur quickly puts his stuff away, raises his right hand over his chest and bows slightly towards the Harengon "my name is Lintran, by what name should I call you?"
Lintan, you examine the bodies and they appear to be patchwork. They're corpses, but the clothes are from different sets and tiny stitching. You also find a small moon-shaped brooch and a ring.

Spells and magical beams are flashing in front of halfling's eyes, as battle goes on. Merrick hides behind the tree, already doubting his decision to join the fight. Too reckless, especially for the one who has never really fought before.
But after some time the fight finally ends. Merrick carefully comes out from his hideout, observes the fallen zombie, looks around trying to make sure there's no more creatures lurking here, and finally sighs with relief. He laughs nervously and tries to put on a usual smile before speaking with others, although his heart is still beating rapidly.
"Hey, it was amazing, how you dealt with these monsters! But..." He then turns to Dein. "Did you see where they came from? Should we, perhaps, return back to Gehe Teach and warn the residents, or investigate this further?"
"Now that you mention it we should return to warn everyone" Io said while hearing Merrick
"What if more come?"she pauses "maybe we should also do a small funeral for them, they might not even realized what happened with them!" she then looked down a bit sad
Lintran takes the moon shaped brooch and the ring from the corpse and presents them to Dein "they were wearing these, do you recognize their markings?" After listening to the answer he carefully puts both items in his bag, planning to ritually cast detect magic and identify on them once they are all safely back in the Mystery House, partly to find out something else about them and partly because he wants to practices his spells some more.
The minotaur turns to Merrick and Io and nods in agreement "I agree, we should warn the others and ask them if they have seen anything like this before." He tries to reassure Io "I'm sure miss Sylvia knows how to bury them properly."
"Calm down since it's only her brooch she might still be fine. Where is her home? I will look for her" she looks around her, at her new friends "You all wanna come?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lintran's expression turns dark hearing that the moon shaped brooch used to belong to someone that is now missing. "Maybe something happened to Crista, we should bring the news to the Gehe Teach."
He turns to Dein once again "did you notice where the undead were coming from? Maybe we could find their tracks and figure this out." He goes back to the corpses and starts looking at the ground around them, looking for any kind of tracks.
OOC: some checks just in case. Nature: 13 Investigation: 15 Survival: 22, advantage if tracking 6
Lintran, with that Survival and Investigation, you find some tracks, though faint, they lead deeper into the woods. With the Nature Check, you haven't heard of zombies being common in this part of the forest. It's likely someone could have summoned them.
Dein shakes his head. "I didn't see where they came from."

Lintran motions to the others "I think I found where these two came from." He thinks for a moment and adds "I still think we should warn the Gehe Teach first. Maybe we could leave a mark in this area so it's easier for us to find it again."
If no one objects, the minotaur starts walking back to the Mystery House.
In fact Merrick now starts to remember Sylvia saying earlier that Crista didn't return home last night, only then he didn't pay much attention. He listens to what other say, thinks of what to do next, and then follows Lintran back to Gehe Teach.
"That's a good idea, we can warn others and also equip ourselves better in case we face these zombies again or something else."
Dein nods. "I'll return to my circle and tell them to be careful of zombies."
As the haregon leaves, Richter begins going back to the Mystery House.
Those who are going with - you reach the house without incident.
The scene outside is simple as the exhibitors are at their exhibits while patrons are admiring them, asking questions, and taking pictures. Sylvia is leading a small group of fairies to The Bottomless Pit. She instructs them not to jump in and two do anyways. After a collective gasp from the onlookers, Sylvia motions them to follow as they do, still worried.
Staying here a couple of days, you know that the two fairies who jumped into the pit will be fine and are likely to reappear in a minute or two.
What does everyone do?

Lintran says farewell to Dein and backtracks to the Mystery House. Once they arrive, the minotaur looks in awe at the Botomless Pit that Sylvia is showing. Having already started to learn to cast spells himself he remembers a quote from one of the books he studied before coming: it's still magic even if you know how it's done.
He waits for miss Sylvia to finish the demonstration and motions for her to talk in private "I'm afraid we run into trouble in the forest. We found two zombies attacking a passerby" he takes the moon shaped brooch out of his bag and presents it to her "one of them was wearing this, Ritchet claims it belonged to Crista."
Sylvia examines it. "That is Crista's. This is unusual as zombies don't usually roam around the forest. Crista said she was seeing this new partner she met and they probably went into the forest. If something has happened to her ... look, I can't leave here, but could you all go look for her?"

Lintran taps his horns and replies to Io "don't worry, I can always find the way back." He checks his satchel to make sure nothing is going to fall out, asks Sylvia for a description of the missing Crista and heads out to the forest with Io.

The group has met Crista before. She's similar to Ritchter in that she's elf-like though she prefers to carry daggers as opposed to a bow and arrow. She also wears bright-colored clothes with animals or symbols on them.
Those who venture into the forest, you do still find the tracks and they continue to a small open area with a couple of tiny houses and what looks like a bath tub.
Go ahead and roll Perception or Investigation checks.

The haregon smiles and says "I'm Dein and thank you again. No zombies aren't common in these parts of the feywild."
Richter nods and turns to Lintran. "I haven't heard of zombies being around here either." He begins examining them as well.
