"WAIT FOR ME," Airsenhite yells as he chases after you, its becoming night now.

-Continues running at full speed-

Eventually Airsenhite falls behind (due to tripping on things) and starts calling out your name in hopes of you coming back.

as a ranger a group that is with me are not affected by difficult terrain in the forest

You hear quite close to you actually a bear roar, but its more of a pandemonium of different forest animals roaring and screeching, it hurts your ears and please make a constitution saving throw, Airsenhite will have to make one too.

Okay you both succeed and you now hear the sound of a bear chasing after the two of you and Airsenhite starts running faster.

You are in a forest. There is only trees to climb, although I don't advise it cause then you'll be leaving Airsenhite to fend for himself and don't forget the death dream.

Can I pick him up the climb a tree? 

Yup, but make an acrobatics and athletics check.
