Here's a map (by E. J. Van Couvering.) It's a single story, with a single public exit (marked by a red carpet) and eight windows. Three private doors lead north behind the stage. The bar is in the northwest corner. Make a perception check to scan the crowd, which seems to cater more toward wealth than common laborers. But it's warm and inviting and none too formal.
"Ale?" Nargis scoffs amiably, "Do you see anyone drinking ale here?" Nargis booms with laughter. It does seem to be almost entirely wine served here.
"I'm just joshing. I have ale and mead both. We're the Thornapple! We have it all – mead, ale, wine, and fine performances. The renowned Diva Luma will be here shortly!"
Walt smiles a toothless grin aimed at Nargis. “Nope. I don’t see anyone drinking ale. But that’s okay. I’ll take one anyway.” Walt winks at them and turns again to scan the crowd.

Once Nargis is away fetching their drinks, Walt will alert his friends of the Silent Verse guards throughout the room. He’ll move in close to the party and in a lower voice say “Do you think this cousin Nargis is Zenia’s mother? I’m not so sure. I wouldn’t expect a King of Coin to be working the counter at a bar. No offense, Tuuli. If they seem a little squirrelly about any questions, I might speak to them in Orcish in an attempt to be more secretive.”

"Ah! You'll love it!" booms Nargis as he pours a glass for Zartan. "That'll be two gold for the four drinks. Worth every copper!" The stylishly dressed, stout, middle-aged orc turns to assist other customers.
(Is Walt flashing Samira’s token to the guards?)
The place is loud, lively, and quite crowded. The stage is empty but well-lit, and many locals are sitting at tables or milling near the bar.
The crowd is loud and boisterous. You stand back and observe the crowd for a few minutes as you sip your drinks (which are very good.)
There are a few members of the Silent Verse evidently watching the crowd with you. A couple of them stand around keeping an eye on the bar, while another pair sits with others at a table near the stage, among other tables packed with revelers. The stage remains empty.
You hear Nargis' booming voice over the din, boasting about the tavern and otherwise entertaining the customers. Nargis evidently switches between a posh Zindanese accent and a laborer’s gruff lilt depending on whom they talk to, and twice uses the phrase "We Kings of Coin..." suggesting that Nargis is a member of them, and clearly quite proud of it.
Upon hearing Nargis identify themselves as one of the Kings of Coin, Walt turns to his friends and says "Keep an eye on the crowd, especially for a woman that matches the description that women that Captain Adann mentioned earlier. I'll check in with the guards."
Walt snatches up his ale and saunters towards one of the guards watching the bar. Along the way he looks towards Nargis, raises his mug to them and takes a hearty chug. Once Walt reaches one of the guards he digs out his coin, palms it, discretely flashes it to one of the guards and says "We must see Zenia at once."

Zartan carefully and meticulously scans the crowd. But he sees nobody here that matches the description of the woman Adann mentioned (and whom some of you evidently saw even earlier as she elbowed her way past you through the crowd.)
Walt shows his token to the guards as he gives his request. They nod and lead you to the table near the stage, where the two other guards sit with a gray-skinned orc whose hair is braided in elegant loops. She seems to have an easygoing demeanor, but is clearly nervous as she greets you warmly. "Hi! Come sit! Who are you?" With a whispered comment from the other guards, the two seated Silent Verse guards stand and give you their seats. The tables nearby are packed with revelers, but the din of conversation makes it easy to talk without being heard.
Aranor sips his ale. He's usually more of a wine drinker, but he has to admit that their ale is good as well. He nods at Zenia's question, though she directed it at Walt.
"We've agreed to investigate the attacks against children of the Kings of Coin, including you," he explains. "Anything you can tell us about the attempt on your life would be most helpful."
"Oh, of course..." She pauses for a long moment and stares at the wall. "Well... I was shopping. I was along the River of Gold, escorted by several of the family servants, when I suddenly felt ill. I remember a cloud of pink ash appeared around me. But then, my servants began attacking me. Some of my oldest, most loyal servants! And then they started attacking each other... It was really scary." She pauses and squirms and sips her drink. "I remember a figure bumping into me before I felt ill. I remember feeling really sick during the attack, but then the sensation faded swiftly. The whole thing was just madness, and then it was over in just a few minutes. We were all injured quite seriously. It could have been so much worse."
Walt looks to his friends with a look of concern and then leans in towards Zenia. "Can you recall what this person who bumped into you looked like? Clothing, height, skin tone or anything of the sort? And this pink cloud. Can you describe it in any way? Did it have a distinct smell?"
Walt sits back and takes a sip of his ale and allows Zenia time to collect their thoughts. He leans in again and poses some more questions. "How would you describe your relationship with the other Kings of Coin? And what of your thoughts of Arel Avim?"
Insight check at the mentioning of Arel Avim: 20(16 + 4)
"I... I remember a woman in green pantaloons and boots. Not old, rather stocky. Looked a bit like a datura or something. A local for sure. The cloud smelled bitter. And sweet."
She has to shout a little to be heard over the boisterous crowd.
"The other Kings of Coin outside my family? Fine, I guess. There's always politics. Arel's a little strange, but I guess he's okay. Avim represents the weavers. Is he under suspicion for this?"
Walt can sense both initial skepticism and then a sense of weighing this new plausible idea.
"No no we don't suspect Arel's involvement in any of this at the moment. But we are concerned that the families of the Kings of Coin may be targeted by these attacks. You mentioned that Arel is a little strange. How so?
And I thank you for your information. Especially the description of the person who bumped into you. By the way, you mentioned this person looked like a datura...what exactly is a datura? Forgive my ignorance I am not from this region."

Scanning the crowd, Walt notes several armed figures focusing more on the tavern patrons than their drinks. They look like Silent Verse members.
