Lore enters late and peers over Drux's shoulder. "The thlot plickens," he says with a faint smile.

"If we've given up on the cellar, we should head upstairs and try to save the lord of the house. They might spill whatever beans they know in gratititude, eh?"

As the sound continue he looks at Kat, "Sooner, rather than later, I think."

Kess had meanwhile been moving ahead stealthily and invisible. Calithor briefly links to her senses and then reports to the others what she has been reporting to him.

Hearing Drux mentioning teleport points Cat says to Drux "What all have you found Drux?"

"Details."

Piers opens the tome as he is curious about its contents. "Now let's see what kind of secrets you have " 

"Hold on Piers! Let me check something, that looks like a wizards book." she hard casts detect magic which is an action

"What?!do you think is magically trapped? " asks Piers holding back his hand 

"Might be, wouldn't want those thugs out there to see would ya?"

Looking for magical auras 

Drux hands Cat the note. “This is bigger than we thought.”

"Ooh." she, seams astonished "Our friends would like to see this." 

drux does not seem to find anything valuable in the drawers. apart from the tome, nothing more catches your attention.

while the group was exploring, kess went to look at what has happening upstairs. Lore sees trough the Sprite's eyes that a battle rages between several hooded individuals and the house guards. The floor is stewn with bodies. he hears "the city watch is on the way!" from a female voice from a bedroom with doors thrown open. she is apparently the Head of the House, Lady gralhund, as kess inspects. on her side stands a well-dressed half-orc, holding a morningstar.

as cat casts detect Magic, she detects that the tome posess an Abjuration spell cast on it. it seems to be a decent magic, as the aura is storng enough to take vivid hues. 

Cat looks at the book, wide eyed "It has a magic too it. I think we should leave it alone I also think it'll alert the owner. (at our low level) We probably couldn't open it anyway." After putting the letter away in her pack, she tries the door to the west, that she's in front of on the map.

"Yeah ..we Don't want them to think we are part of those thugs do  we?After all you already found something right? " looking  at the letter "Its time to move..Still have a prisoner to free"

“Let’s hurry. With the city watch on the way, this could get hairy fast.”

(Since we don't have an Ipad to watch what Kess see's, (That would be neat) I'm waiting on Lore to tell us what Kess see's, to react. At the risk, of being heard by someone else besides us. I doubt Lore would speak aloud, what he sees while in Kess's senses.)

As stated before, Lore relays what he sees and hears. The repeats himself, "Sooner, rather than later, I think." Adding, "Attack the attackers. We, as concerned citizens, heard the sounds of fighting...and had to respond."

“Attack them? Shouldn’t we focus on just getting out of here?”

"What?No!not attack them, avoid them,find our guy and leave without further incidents" says Piers in protest making clearly he doesn't want to engage in unnecessary fight

Lore shrugs in defeat, "Lead on. I thought our man was in the basement, so I really have no idea why we came up here if not to either save the owner or kill them."
