"We'll meet you there. Could you return the wagon and horse to Felwin for us after?" She shrugs "Lets help get Drux to the wagon guys. And we'll head to the manor. Perhaps pick up some food along the way. I'd like to taste the food that Piers keeps promising he'll fix."
Said wanting a meat pie but having a feeling she'll have to go to the Yawning porthole to get something substantial. She heads out the door helping Drux if he needs it, back to the Manor.
“Getting to a place to rest sounds good to me. But unless we have anything at the manor, I’d rather rest elsewhere, please,” Drux says in one single quick breath.
(OOC I honestly don’t remember what’s there. But if there’s not even a bed, Drux is going to go to the Portal where he may get a bed and rest.)
(OOC: Apart from a few major closing points, I plan to fast forward things a bit so we can get our new member properly onboard sooner than later.)
Melannor appeared a bit relieved at Cat's explanation. "You'll want to visit the House of Inspired Hands then in the Sea Ward -- Which I can give you further directions later, if you're not familiar with them."He mentions, looking a bit sourly at the mere mention of the place. Yet at looks of concern or word of worry, he forces a grin and waves a hand in dimissal. "Regarding the wagon, uhm.. Sure. The Enclave was going to need to do a follow-up with him as well." Melannor further assured the group.
And with that, the party now all alive and well on the road of recovery, are able to begin the journey once more to Trollskull Manor back in North Ward. Knowing you have at least a little time, the party can easy stop by the Portal for a proper breakfast even if most of their nutritional needs are being met already with Piers earlier magic. While there the group are able to talk to the propertier and make some temporary arrangements for rooms, just in case things don't quite pan out at the manor. Which Idoza foots the bill on, stubbornly brokering no argument.
Eventually the time came to be on your way, and within no more than an hour due to heightened traffic, the party arrives at the manor. There they see Melannor had indeed somehow arrived before the group, and appeared to be in a casual discussion with Floon and Volo! "Ah! And here they are! Welcome back friends and the greatest heroes I know of to date! Haha!" Volo declared cheerily, eagerly walking up to the first person to disembark and shake their hand. "It is good to see you again! I simply cannot thank you enough for all you've done for my friend here!"He gestures back to a tired but no less grateful floon; who politely waved from the steps. "I also wanted to apologize. Between my desire to make sure Floon here had somewhere to rest and making sure all the paperwork on my end regarding the transfer of this here fine establishment, I plum forgot to give you the bloody keys to the place! Oh what a fool I've been!"He adds, dramatically facepalming and staggering under the "force" of his own blow.
"But never let it be said that Volo is one to let his errors slide without proper and swift action taken to mend those bridges, and see all parties involved absolutely, positively, and comPLETELY satisfied! Just ask a few former lovers of mine~"He flashes a sly grin and waggles his brow.
After this rather audacious reintroduction that went off on a tangent about Volo's latest books, eventually the party (if not Floon, seeming used to reigning his friend in), is able to get him back on track and are handed an actual key to the place, or at least a spare, if the magister they met hadn't done so. He also suggest an establishment in the Tradesward to see about having more keys made at the party's leisure. With that, Volo at first intended depart, only for another gentle reminder from Floon sees the party informed of a small issue. It seemed the pair couldn't help themselves and took a peek inside the tavern section, half-hope to maybe nip some still good booze there.
"Now just so you know, I had NO idea that the ghost was here before giving you this place. Honestly! And they are not too TOO bad. Just a little touchy? E-either way, my advice -- assuming of course you want to delve into the tavern business, which can be kinda cut throat but I have faith in you all. But, if going that route and want a good selling point for your particular establishment, I'd suggest maybe recruiting this unfortunate soul on your side."Volo suggest, and even Floon nods eagerly in agreement. Melannor grimaces at the suggestion but otherwise stayed quiet.
"I mean, I'm sure you've read or heard of my own dabblings into the spirit realm in one of my other works, so I won't bore you with the details. But suffice to say, it could be a win-win that helps your business stand out /if/ you all play your cards right. And if not, well, I'm sure you can find a decent cleric out there that can give this specter of obsession a swift kick out at little charge."Volo assured.

"I've heard that you wrote books about your adventures Volo. And I do wish to help the ghost. If we can get him to understand what we are doing, Maybe he won't be so grumpy." she says as she quickly grabs the keys not wanting to leave them in the hands of such a flippant personality.
Piers bows to the elder druid and takes his leave.
To Volo:
"Ah. Thank you. I'm sure, in the event we manage to smooth things over with the ghost, the manor should be a very peaceful place for respite and such. And Floon, good to see you again. We're glad you're well."
Drux isn’t saying anything through all of this back and forth. Eventually he asks Cat, “I think I’d like a hard drink and then I’d like to sleep…can you help with that please? I don’t even care where now, I’m feeling extremely exhausted now.”
"I doubt there's any beds worth sleeping in here Drux. Piers you're the only one here with a bed roll do you mind Drux using it?" she gestures to the already cleaned floor or even the bar..
"Oh dear, wait here one second!" Piers races to retrieve his bedroll and gingerly sets it down, rolling Drux onto it. "There we are. Have a rest, you very well deserve it."
using key on the top door, Cat finds herself in the Den.
Light floods in from the cobwebbed, barred windows in the north-east turret corner. The smell of smoke is stronger in this room, accompanied by mold. The floor is dotted with burn marks, as well as a large sagging section on the east side of the room. A drip of water hits the center of the warped wood rhythmically and comes from an equally sagging portion of ceiling.
A doorway to the north leads out onto a long, wood-railed balcony overlooking Saerdoun Street. The railings are heavily damaged. A second doorway leads to a similar balcony facing westward overlooking the Alley.
A door in the south-east corner leads down a long dusty hallway to a master
“That’s quite worrying.” Piers replies, glancing up at the ceiling with a concerned look on his face. “Perhaps we should get in contact with one of the guilds and they can fix it before it damages anything else below.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cat nods to Piers pulls her crowbar out. "You two are hanging with us right?" She says to Volocamp and Melannor "We need someone to help us placate, Lif." She starts tapping around feeling how weak the wood is, 4 investigating the room staying away from under the bulge in the ceiling. And looking for anything of interest by moving things and looking.
cat cautiously taps around with the crowbar, and she notices that there is, indeed, some spots where the wood seems to be weaker than usual due to the mold and humidity. stepping on those spots would probably break the floor.
searching around, nothing catches your eye for a moment, however you manage to catch a glimpse of a loose piece of wood on the ground. by lifting it, you discover a small, rectangular box made of fine wood covered by dust. cleaning the dust, you notice that there's a small circular opening on the top, with a smiling sun engraved on it. on the box's side, there's a metal handle poking out. it seems to be an old music box.

looking around the room, Cathern concludes that except from a possible respiratory disease caused by the mold, the place was safe to walk.
Cathern starts to explore excitedly but controls herself stopping, she looks back to Piers waiting.
"I think this area can be fixed. But the upstairs has a leak. It looks like part of the ceiling might collapse."
