OOC: Judas will just spend the next four days waiting for his turn...doing jumping jacks, reading a novel, preparing his thesis on Voodoo Economics, etc.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Phil bounces on the balls of his feet, rapier in one hand, dagger in the other, and upon seeing the blighted twigs attacking, he leaps forwards with surprising speed towards the closest enemy humanoid. (preferably the Druid or female) and pushes them back towards the party with the mobile flourish action from the college of swords.
Hit with rapier: 23
Damadge: 4 + 1
Whoever Phil Hit is pushed 6 feet towards the party from where they were previously standing, and Phil fanagles himself to be an additional 5 feet, without provoking attacks of opprutunity from other enemies.
Then for good measure Phil tries swiping with his dagger offhand.
Sharwyn is caught off guard by your attack, Phil, and the first rapier attack hit solid. With a cry of pain and surprise, she doesn't even see your dagger swipe, cutting her neck open. She falls to the ground and doesn't move again.
Belak, obviously very angry now, retaliates on Phil. Attack: 7 Damage: 10 Wow, what a crappy attack roll haha.
The twig blight attacks Judas, because why not. Attack: 11 Damage: 4
Sir Braford advances on Balrog attempting to cut him short: Attack: 15 Damage: 4
Infuriated by Sir Bradford stopping his assault on Belak, Balrog points his finger at Sir Bradford and growls in infernal, “Burn mother ****er, burn mother ****er, burn!” In hell mother ****er, burn mother ****er, burn!”
With that Sir Bradford is engulfed in flame and takes 14 damage on a failed Dex Saving throw, half damage if he saves.
Dex save: 8 engulfed in flames, he takes the damage, but your melee attack thunks harmlessly against his armor, but does send him reeling a bit, screaming from the fire.
Flying into a full rage Ugg charges Sir Brandford with his greatsword swinging. At the top of his lungs he begins to chant his tribes battle chant and with a frenzied reckless attack he attempts to slice across the mans chest and follow it up with a return swing at his neck.
Chest: Attack: 24 Damage: 13
Neck: Attack: 23 Damage: 15

Judas pulls a small bone wrapped in an iron wire from his pocket, flips it in the air in front of him, spinning rapidly. Strangely, the bone continues to freely spin, seemingly immune to the effects of gravity. He begins to chant-
"Bones of anger, bones to dust full of fury, revenge is just I scatter these bones, these bones of rage take thine enemy, bring him pain I see thine enemy before me now I bind him, crush him, bring him down With these bones I now do crush Make thine enemy turn to dust torment, fire, out of control With this hex I curse your soul."
He then shoves his hands forward, and a radiant red beam of light projects from his hands, through the spinning bone, and right at Belak.
OOC: Belak must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed for up to 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, he can make another Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the spell ends. If he fails, for that round:
• A paralyzed creature is incapacitated (Can't take actions or reactions) and can’t move or speak.
• The creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
• Attack rolls against the creature have advantage.
• Any attack that hits the creature is a critical hit if the attacker is within 5 feet of the creature.
The last fire bolt from Varth was all it took to kill Belak the Outcast, fallen druid. Among his possessions you find three potions of healing, two doses of an antitoxin, and a wand of entangle. As you return to Oakhurst, you are all regarded as heroes. They explain to you that Braford and Sharwyn were adventurers like yourselves, but apparently were under the control of Belak and the Tree. The tree, on fire, eventually withers and dies, and the evil that was occupying the Sunless Citadel had been vanquished. I can also say that you haven't seen the end of Calcryx.
I want to express my thanks to you all for being patient with me, and hanging on while I plodded through this adventure. I feel like it dragged a little bit, and that's completely my fault. As DM, i'm supposed to set the pace. Between work and my other campaign i'm in, it was no easy task, and I thank you deeply for bearing with me.
I will be running the "sequel" to this adventure, or should I say the next adventure for 4th level characters, in Tales From The Yawning Portal, at some point in the near future. The adventure is called The Forge Of Fury. I'm just going to take a break and recharge. Being a DM is a little exhausting. Until then, please feel free to chat with me, or with others, in the group chat we started.
Balrog raises a horn of fire water to the omniscient voice who made this tale possible and to his fellow travelers who helped weave it. He’s content with his loot for now, but his appetite won’t be satiated for long!
Thanks guys, I had loads of fun. Hope to see you all in The Forge of Fury. Until, then I might see you guys in chat, but good luck with your personal endeavors!

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

Infuriated by Sir Bradford stopping his assault on Belak, Balrog points his finger at Sir Bradford and growls in infernal, “Burn mother ****er, burn mother ****er, burn!” In hell mother ****er, burn mother ****er, burn!”
With that Sir Bradford is engulfed in flame and takes 14 damage on a failed Dex Saving throw, half damage if he saves.
OOC: I’ve been waiting to use Hellish Rebuke!

Still salty from Sir Brandford’s attack, Balrog swings his war hammer two handed at the human, who erred so in attacking the demonic dwarf.
