The other Cultist in the distance takes another 15 feet back (55 away from gilded 65 from the cave) before going on the ground (Prone so ranged attacks will have disadvantage. Melee advantage) While kneeling he had a light in his hands casting it at Sloden as well! (Sloden must make a Dex save of 11 or higher)
Vex will cast frostbite at one of the two men, damage if it hits: 2

The closer cultist is knocked down making him Prone.
Since Sloden was first this makes all ranged attacks at disadvantage.
And all melee attacks like Gilded at advantage.
So the ranged would have to reroll at him like Corvus to see if he misses.
And Gilded can reroll for a chance to crit
