Vex is preparing to speak in case it was needed, Gilded had taken his weapon ready to throw if the time would arise. Jess was urging caution to the group of any more hidden Dire Wolves. How would they get to the staircase? What were those two strange tomes. It was at least a lucky stroke these wolves were sleeping as big as each wolf was.
OOC So before Idk why I asked if Gilded ritual casted Detect good and evil cause Paladins can't ritual cast.

It was my divine sense.
Divine Sense
As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover. You can use this feature 4 times per long rest.
I expect some of my own party will show up to me... lol
As Gilded's eyes glow with Divine Sense he see's that Sloden.. glows with the aura of an undead. Something no longer alive and yet.. He was still moving who.. Or rather what was he? His magical energy had seemed to be full of death and so were his markings. The books move off the desk making a slight noise against the wood of the table though subtle the wolves do rustle a little bit. Though not awake they seem slightly disturbed before trying to fall back into deeper slumber. One big was gold and yellow with a picture of a golden dragon. It was Simon's book on the Religion of Dawn the god of light and Radiance. The second was a book of the "history" of Radiance. Though they were thick and laid with strange terms and codes to throw off anyone reading them. The book of history was brown and rather thick.
Funneling through the door seems to be wise it was a ten foot entrance. Only two wolves could attack at once with such a plan, though two melee fighters would have to block the entrance from them getting past the ten foot doorway. Kocino can feel... A presence as he cast his spell. An urge to hold his dearest pan... Strange as now wasn't really the time to cook.
OOC Oh well that complicates things the books are in the center of the room 30feet away the spell says move servants away 15 feet.
They are invisible but they don't have silent footsteps yes? I'd say that's a stealth check with advantage.
Ahh it seems you can give them the command 15 feet away but they can move up to 60 feet all together? Seems a little unclear on that but I say 60 feet makes more sense.
So they can grab the books but they have to make a stealth check with advantage.
Jess can use guidance on the servant as well if you wish.
Actually I'll use that ruling for next time, to keep the flow going I'll say Kocino was able to snatch the books but the wolves are a little rustled.
Corvus looks a little annoyed when the runes suddenly disappear. He wasn’t done read them! No matter. Surely this manor holds more to see.
Seeing the wolves he considers the situation. If it had been just him, he would have simply snuck past, but with the two Dragonborn… That may not be an option. The rest of the party seems intent on fighting, perhaps he should let them.
Watching the books rise from the table Corvus feels a stab of jealousy. Why can’t he do that? Then he thinks for a moment. Could his new familiar lift something like that?
(Ooc: Could he have his familiar bring the books the rest of the way? This is the first time I’ve played with a familiar, so I don’t know how all that works.)
here's a list of things they can do. They are tiny with an STR of 6 but books are light. It has a +4 in stealth and it'd have had to make a stealth check but yeah it could have. With it's claws holding one book and it's mouth holding the other most likely
"Wait a moment," Drez whispers. "What if a couple of us stealthier individuals head forward and try and take out a few of those animals? If we can at least take out those two before waking up the whole lot of them, we have a better chance of getting this over quickly and quietly." He looks around the room, clearly uninterested in the books surrounding them. "A couple of us can move forward, cut their throats, and if the rest are still asleep we can continue forwards. Then you heavily armored folks can move in and help out if the beasts wake up."
(OOC: missed a couple posts so I had to make some changes to mine.)
"How would you take the out?" If me and Kocino or Vex can take their charge at the door, you guys can blast them from behind us." I think that is probably our best bet. Some of us aren't built for sneaking."
(OOC, not really my plan, it's kocinos. But basically, we all take a free shot, then 2 of us block the door while everyone else blasts them. They are dire wolves, we're not gonna talk our way past them I don't think.. lol)
OOC: Incapacitated only gives melee hits crits. Since they are laying down they are actually Prone which normally gives disadvantage to range. However since their guard is low that is advantage so ranged attacks are just normal attack rolls. Ranged attacks are a lot less risky though and require much less stealth.
3 are in favor of blocking the door and fighting.
Gilded will block one side. Who blocks the other side hasn't been decided.
Unless all 4 members of the party go against this, this will be the biggest vote.
That being said players are allowed to have characters go against votes. They might not make many friends in the party doing so but say someone had their own plan and went off that would be allowed (if not risky)
"I was thinking we would just dispose of the two in front of the door before launching an all out attack," Drez says, keeping his voice low. "I wan't to know how many wolves are on the other side of this door, and whether or not we have a chance of getting rid of them quietly. The longer we can remain undetected, the better, and I have a feeling that if we get into a battle here the noise won't go unnoticed." He shrugs, "But I suppose it is inevitable, and we could just rely on Gwen's distraction to keep the guards out of our way. Still, I would prefer it if Simon didn't know someone just snuck into his home."

Jess whispers to the group,
“Careful, there may be more in the near corners that we can’t see.”

Kocino instructs the invisible force to bring the tomes to him.

Brown Book: History Check
Yellow Book: Religion Check

Oh Divine Sense okay
Uh yeah one does for sure xD
I'm guessing Kocino is using Mage Hand?
Kocino made an unseen servant while Jess was doing her detect magic thing.
Kocino sets the books off to the side. “Someone smarter than me may want to take a look at these.”
He turns to Gilded. “Should we bring them to us? Funnel them through the door?”
Funneling through the door seems to be wise it was a ten foot entrance. Only two wolves could attack at once with such a plan, though two melee fighters would have to block the entrance from them getting past the ten foot doorway. Kocino can feel... Gilded tells Kocino, "Good plan, I'll move up into the door with someone else"
He moves up to the door, motions behind him for everyone to get ready. He hefts his javelin up in his arms ready to throw.
"Wait a moment," Drez whispers. "What if a couple of us stealthier individuals head forward and try and take out a few of those animals? Feel free to vote for either Drez's plan!
Or Gilded's!
Or throw in a plan of you're own of course.

OOC:
Oh yeah Vex can animal speak forgot about that.
Gilded/Kocino want to hold the front and fight.
Vex and Gilded can be sturdy at the front I think. I'm not sure who you're second tankiest AC is. Vex does have 16 AC though and second wind.
Or Drezmir's idea of getting in and some stealthy fighters get some free criticals?
Jess is in favor of Kocino's plan. She doubts they can dispatch a few and sneak past without the others waking up.
Won't we get the same stealthy feee crits ranged?
