"Wait a moment," Drezmir turns to Robin. "Which room did you come from? Do you know if it would be safe enough for some of us to try entering from another route?"
Drezmir nods to Kocino. After a moment of thought he says, "I must agree. We've already been through a lot. We can't afford another setback... Besides, Simon likely already knows we are coming through this door. If we wait long enough for someone to go around to one of the other two doors, that could give him time to either escape or make better preparations. If we hadn't been so loud fighting those guards, I'd be all for splitting up into two teams. But now... I think we will be better off sticking together."
(Lol me neither… Okay, maybe for future we can post on the private chat to not be NPCd? That way we know who’s still with us, but we don’t bury the actual RP on this thread?)
Robin had listened to the group, this was the last showdown of Glazing Wind. Robin pressed his ear against the door for a moment to try and listen.

After that he placed his hands on the lockpicks looking to the group.
"I'm going to try and lockpick this now, I hope you all are ready."
OOC If anyone (like I know Drezmir has more questions for Robin about how he got here) We can say that happens before this attempt. But I thought I'd get the lockpicking roll outta the way for him.
OOC This will happen AFTER some convo if anyone wishes to with Robin but this is what will happen below.
RP
Robin places his hear against the door listening for any whispering or rustling. He looks to the group for a moment.
"He's.. Alone? I can't hear any guards. Only him mumbling to himself.. I don't understand what he is saying. It's certainly not common tongue.. But he seems on edge.."
Robin places the locks on the keyhole fiddling around only for the lockpicks to make a loud SNAP with the doorknob jiggling. He wasn't normally this clumsy but everything that could go wrong.. Had gone wrong. He let out a loud sigh with his broken picks, the door was still locked.
"So.. I'm positive he knows we are here now. Damn it! I feel like such an idiot.." Robin stood up and took a few feet back away from the door. And almost on cue the door was blown apart but a white spiral of energy! The door was gone and there in the center of the room. (60 Feet away) Was the man himself. Magical energy could be seen even by the naked eye, he was wearing a rather elegant suit almost as if he was going to a ballroom dance? A tie with black shoes to match his black suit. Soft feathered hair, with dark green eyes. He appeared young and some of his features were similar to Gwen. Stern yet a gentle face, he seemed exhausted. Eye bags with riled hair but his gaze hadn't wavered. His hands were in his pockets as a grimoire floated behind the mage. No weapons and no physical armor. Though it was apparent he was wielding mage armor he wasn't even trying to hide the fact.
"So you all have finally arrived. It was only a matter of time I suppose. Here I was hoping you'd peacefully leave Glazing Winds."
Simon takes another step on the ground flaring a bit more magical energy. The pages of his book were fluttering and his hands hadn't seemed to move from his pockets. His expression was stern but not entirely aggressive. He did seem a little bit annoyed however.
"Robin, this isn't the first time you've interfered but now.. You bring these outsiders? Have you forgot what outsiders have done to Glazing Winds? ..You are right child of water, this can end peacefully. Leave this town, leave and never return to this place. All of you."
(I think I know what I need to know based on OOC conversation concerning Robin, so we can just pretend that was RP'd to keep this simple :D)
Drezmir's fur stands on end after Jess pushes him forward, he was a little taken aback by the explosion so her touch came as a surprise. "Oh...um."He clears his throat, taking in Simon's appearance, "Simon...we have reason to believe that someone is trying to bring harm to Glanzing Winds. We've heard something about...an Awakening, and based on the remains of a ritual we found downstairs...well we are rather worried about you. I know we are outsiders, and that this isn't really our business...but..."He lets out a breath, "It became our business when we were attacked simply for trying to help the people of this town. Surely you want what is best for these people, most of them seem to admire you. And what about Gwen? From what she has told me, the two of you were so close before...whatever happened to you." He stands up straighter, and his three tails wave behind him, "I know what it is like to have high expectations piled on you at a young age. Right now...well I'm dealing with demons of my own...and whatever this is that I have become. I don't know what has happened to you, what you have gone through in attempt to gain power, but is it worth the price you have paid? Is it worth the lives you have taken? Is it worth becoming a monster?"
"The last thing we want to do is fight you, I wanted to come talk to you earlier but that wasn't an option since you had us kicked out of town. We just want to know what is going on, because I for one think there is something far bigger at work here." He takes a step forward, hands at his sides, "Please, at least just talk to Gwen and tell her why you refuse to see her."
Persuasion (don't fail me now lol): ...grr, still rolling 4s. Rolling with the dice roller instead: 21 + 2 from guidance
“And if we run into another fight before him, we are done for. We are already weakened.”
"I for one, think we should stay together, or at the very least only divide into 2 groups." Gilded says
”What I just suggested has only two groups. I have proposed an excellent idea. That is what I will vote for.”
"Wait a moment," Drezmir turns to Robin. "Which room did you come from? Do you know if it would be safe enough for some of us to try entering from another route?"
“Personally, I’d rather not risk any more small skirmishes before we deal with Simon.”
(I will not be NPC’d)
Me either.. lol
(LOL)

(Lol I'm still here too.)
Corvus remains silent as the others continue planning.
Jess impatiently drums her fingers against her shield.
(Never being NPC’d)

Lol don't forget Jess's guidance! Though I'm afraid it won't help a roll like that...

Sadly Jess's guidance can't fix a nat 1 you are right haha
Jess says,
"This can still end peacefully!"
Then she nudges Drezmir forward, giving him a quick boost of guidance in the process.

Drezmir hesitates, feeling like his words are falling short, "I was created to fight darkness. All I want to do is help."
