The sound of an approaching force grows louder and louder as more torches appear through the fog. It won't. Be long before they have found you out.

(Spell components are always funny. I'd be interested in a campaign where chsracters have to keep a stock list of spell ingredients so they are limited by spell slots and materials. Sorry, Pass without trace can't be completed because you're all out of burned mistletoe leaves :P That plant is alien to Alvernia, I guess you should've stock up when you were in a place with them available three weeks ago.)

OOC: Tricky wording, but I’d argue no, cause the portal doesn’t allow entry if it’s pulled up. However, up to Barlow. I can see the other side of the argument.

I had read it like a manhole cover in the air. It's big enough for 1 person to fit through at a time, but that's it. Also, it's only 10' off the ground, at the most, so flying into it would be very difficult.

Good enough for me. I was thinking of it like flying in at the 30-50 movement speed it can go.
There is a distinct line of torches now, there has to be several dozen lizardmen approaching and you even catch glimpses of larger humanoids scattered throughout the crowd. The fog is beginning to lift as if whatever is coming is lifting the screen over the land to find you.

Tense minutes pass as the sound of multitudes approach. As they begin to sweep over the area, lizardmen scouts sprint in all directions trying to find intruders about. Noises can be heard after they pass, likely a signal for no danger. Following them, a group of four ogres come forward and take the fallen lizardmen them back to the main settlement. Though you see a mass of bodies ranging in size and species below, a voice calls above the crowd, "Intruders! You have come to your deaths in the land of Szazzul the Great Shadow. Show yourselves now or be dragged from your hole." It is not clear where he is speaking to as the voice booms throughout the swamp.

The booming voice calls out once more. It seems as though the origin is closer now, "You cannot escape. My hunters comb this land for your scent and trail. I am content to wait." Whatever Szazzul is, he seems ready to plant himself in place until either your magic wears off or his trackers find something.

Yeah, make sure you pull the rope up this time XD
"If we are going to move we should do it now, luckily I have a spell prepared that I can cast that can help us escape unseen."
OOC: (If we are moving Evelyn will cast Pass without Trace on the party, if not then she will simply join them up the rope.)

“What are you all waiting, Let’s get to climbing” Elon exclaimes.

Tomac- goliath barbarian- Yet Another Storm Kings Thunder
Am I able to just fly up into it?
