"Lady Khessa-!" Aster cries after seeing you fumble to the ground.
The little buggers attack him too:
First: 24, 6 piercing damage.
Second: 21, 5 piercing damage.

But Aster... is still standing after this onslaught? Anyway, if he is, he administers his healing potion to Khessa to heal her, so that they can try to take down the two ferocious opponents together.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Khessa gets revived and can act, but first my end of round action takes place.)
Phasing in out of seemingly nowhere, a small black creature that resembles a cat with tentacles flying on it's back appears and attacks Critter 1!

The strange cat fails to connect with it's tentacles and hisses in frustration.
Khessa, this reminds you of when a cat gets sight of a mouse. You think this thing wants to eat these weird critters. Your turn!

Khessa comes back with the strange sensation of a liquid being poured into her throat combined with the even stranger (and pleasant!) sensation of the wounds left by the bites that close as if by magic.
The blue eyes of the adventurer open, still partially confused, as they focus on Aster first... but them immediately open wide at the sight of the two little monsters who had almost killed her!
'Together, they attack in an extremely coordinated way...' remembers alll too well the blonde warrior 'We absolutely have to take down at least one of them!'
Khessa sprints to get up before the enemies can jump on her again... and that's when the mysterious cat with tentacles comes into action and materializes from who knows where, distracting the little monsters!
'It wants to eat them...' realizes the tall adventurer '... although I don't think it could be very successful on his own! It missed them so wildly... But at least now I can help it!'
And so, more determined than ever to fight to the end, the blonde warrior just ripped from the cold embrace of death struggles to reach beyond her limits (OOC: she uses her Second Wind to regain more HP - she'll probably need them) and already wields Cabbage Patch Avenger again. She attacks the same critter the cat had targeted, but from the opposite side (OOC: did you mention the optional flanking rule - are you going to use it? Khessa will be able to attack with advantage in this circumstance?), delivering a new slash with the strength of desperation.
(sorry, I mean it wasn't flanking, it was pack tactics. I don't do the optional flanking rule, but I knew my roleplay wording could make it seem otherwise... I think I'll let you have advantage for fun LOL)
Khessa! You annihilated the rest of them.
"I don't know about this kitten, but we need to get out of here before those things den mother appears!" Aster shouts. He runs past the kitten out the door.
Khessa, if you want to run and grab the kitten, I'll need an animal handling check. With advantage of Khessa has ever owned a cat before.

(Oh, thank you very much then! It's more fun for me too, to roll a 20 instead of a 1! Lol! Even more in such a deadly fight. If those monster had suprised the both of us, it would have been a TPK, I think. Pack tactics is really dangerous against low level characters - so easy for the monsters to get advantage... and so easier for the monsters to hit thanks to the advantage...)
Yes, Khessa definitely tries to keep the kitten, even more since Aster thinks a fouler beast is coming! The poor cub wouldn't stand a chance! She quickly tries to lure it out of the room by offering it food (the critter's bodies, for example, since the cat seemed interested in them). If the cub does not come, she still tries to grab it: it has fought on her side! She would hate to leave it in lethal danger, if she can save it instead...
"Come on, kitty!" she whispers to it, in soft voice "I'll give you ALL of this food! Yes, all for you! Just come with me, it will be allright..."
Then she comes out, following Aster's advice and closing the door behind her for good measure (it should buy some time, if not discouraging the incoming monster altogether).
Khessa indeed grabs hold of the kitten but it bites her hand, dealing 1 piercing damage!
(Don't worry... You will get chances later to actually tame it! This was just to see if it bites you or not hehe)
Khessa and Aster run, Khessa following. He runs behind the cover of a corner of a building. Peering out, you see a much larger version of those critters making strange sounds as it looks for you...
Stealth check. Or you can try to do something. Fair warning: direct confrontation may result in death.

Khessa regains 8 hit points
Trying again...
Khessa regains 7 hit points
So now Khessa, revived, can act? Or the funny thing you have in store gets disclosed first?

Second wind: Khessa regains 6 HP
New slash with the strength of desperation: 26 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
In case she had advantage, this is the other attack roll (we can keep the best of the 2): 26
So in case she had advantage, she critted... Extra damage would be 7
