Mixtli chomps into the pepper, and his confidence going in was almost is undoing, as the pepper creeps up on him. He coughs, but manages to regain his composure!

Tandor takes several quick breaths to try to cool the burning in his mouth but his eyes never leave Kasem. Again, without looking, he reaches for the basket of peppers, takes one, and eats it.

Tandor chomps into his pepper, before giving way to a coughing fit, his face darkening, the vapors stinging the eyes of Kip sitting next to him.
Kip is gagging and coughing as he starts round three, reaching for and pulling a pepper.

Liber is wondering if there was something in the pepper the kobold ate, by facial expression.
Liber's curiosity is soon answered as he bites into his pepper and begins hiccuping, sneezing and drooling uncontrollably as he caves and reaches for the milk. As he does, he's startled by everyone around him appearing to have a skull face. He rubs his eyes (not a good idea), and through the pain and the tears, is able to tell that everyone's appearance has gone back to normal as he chugs milk.
Geoff is looking none too sure as two competitors go out in the start of the third round.

Watching, Trencher is surprised how quickly some of the contestants are out of the challenge. "Some of those random peppers in those baskets must be really bad."
He then looks about the crowd. Does anyone in the area seem to be overly curious about anything OTHER than the competition?

Mixtli is a bit surprised when the pepper he bites into is extra juicy, and a bit disappointed in the lack of heat. Turns out it was a small tomato. Ah well, a win is a win.
