From what you can tell, Khaddim, the shop seems to be mostly normal, aside from some of the material being sold looking a little suspicious - you highly doubt that the griffon fur coat is made from actual griffon fur, the same with the headdress supposedly made of harpy feathers. Your investigation mostly reveals that Correni is definitely the type to swindle naive individuals and give them an unfair bargain.
Just as you think that, Correni returns, a large, deep black cloak in his arms.
"There, it's a perfect match for you," he smiles, draping it over Yurime's shoulders. It looks to be exactly what she needs, the only conspicuous aspect the garment the white fur trim on the neckline. "Ah, it looks exquisite. Hardly extravagant as well, you'll have no problem going unnoticed with that on."

Glancing over at Correni with that ridiculously expensive cloak (or so it seems), the Kumiho does try it on, but she has her usual suspicions. "Just curious: are there any other cloaks that are similar to this?" She asks as she wears the cloak over her red kimono and glances into a nearby mirror. "If there are I would also like to try them on before I make my purchase please. Wouldn't hurt to try them out before confirming, right?"
"Thank you for your cosideration Miss Yurime, but I think I am ok with what I'm wearing. I don't want you to spend money on me for something that isn't necessary, maybe something form another tent that could help me in the job that I must do in the coming days." Answered politely with a smile and stayed near Yurime as "her slave" while looking around the shop.
"You sure? Ok then..." She replies, pouting a little as her face is turned away from him

Correni grins even wider. "Of course, my lady," he scuttles off, returning with two other cloaks, the same as the last save for the fabric colour. "Will these suffice?"
The two cloaks he offers you include an indigo purple cloak, and a very dark red cloak, almost the colour of blood.

So, three cloaks of similar material but different colours. The blood-red one stands out to Yurime the most since it nearly matches the colour of her kimono entirely despite being a darker shade of red. However, after witnessing how poorly the aasimar was treated and mislead by the owner, Yurime decided that did not want to be his next victim for sure. Before she even finalizes her decision, Yurime inaudibly whispers in Korean: 마법 감지 (Mabeob Ganji) and secretly casts Detect Magic on the three cloaks that lay before her since she already suspects that something's not right with them.
I knew it, she telepathically growls. That dragondude... Trying to scam me with that so-called valuable piece of junk... I'm so glad I checked first... She then picks up the red cloak, already waiting for a ridiculous price being thrown at her youthful face despite not knowing how to haggle. "I'll take this, kind sir, if you're fine with that." She concludes but also tries to figure out what the real value of the indigo coat is (Looking at the spell description: Investigation right? If it is: 14).
Correni nods eagerly. "Of course, of course. 15 gold pieces for that one."
Your keen eyes only just manage to slip under the magical guise set up by Correni. The indigo garment is actually quite badly tattered, with an ugly tear straight down the middle of it. It's old and worn, and certainly doesn't have a fur trim. At the most it would fetch three copper pieces.

Correni nods eagerly. "Of course, of course. 15 gold pieces for that one."
Well, that was less than I expected. Without hesitation, Yurime hands him 15 gold (marked off, 62 gold left)… and turns pale when she notices the indigo dress in a tattered state.
"By the way, mister" she follows up, clearly disgusted by his deceptiveness. "Do you really think that you could get away with this poor, blue cloak?" She instantly reveals the abysmal features especially that one gigantic hole that the cloak is concealing. Her soft, high-pitched voice noticeably becomes louder and more furious with each sentence as she attempts not to swear in front of the young boy who she healed. "What on earth is this?! I wouldn't even dare let my 'slave' buy that! Can't you just order one of your invisible employees to repair this stupid mess?! Even before you even attempt to deceive someone else, let alone sell it with that Distort value pricetag?! No wonder why that lady was so pissed off with you! Feeding your customers with such blatant lies before they realise the truth... I bet even your invisible workers should be ashamed of your own selfish attitude!"
Before the dragonborn could even reply to her backlashes, Yurime tosses the tattered cloak onto the desk, thinking an invisible servant would pick it up. She slips on the new cloak, puts the hood on her head, turns around and prepares to leave. "I'm done, mister," she address Khaddim calmly, who looks super bored (or at least that's what the Kumiho perceives). "Let's go and meet up with the others... or should we get your weapons first?" and swiftly skitters out, only stopping in front of the entrance to make sure she didn't lose him.
Gnash doesn't recoil from the display of rage but he does reflexively straighten his back at the admonishment. "Erm yes, right. Well said. I assure you I have no intention of backing down or retreating from this threat. However it may be best to discuss this further in a less public location among just our group. Your courage is admirable however shouting a challenge to the Gods themselves may draw us unwanted attention. We don't want to make more trouble for ourselves, and there are many who would see a slave punished for much less than mild blasphemy." Gnash looks the fierce new Rohar over and then with a laugh says, “although I’d like to see them even try.”⁷
Rohar realizes that she had a tantrum. "Oh my, I'm sorry Mr Gnash and Mr. Three, I really didn't mean to do that, not sure what has gotten in to me today." The Barbarian rage is new to her, she is having trouble controlling her emotions. "Please forgive me for being so rude."
"Nothing to forgive, having passion for one's duty is admirable. Still, we must be careful with this information." Gnash gives Rohar a respectful nod and holds out his clawed hand. "I promise you we will not fail in our task and as such you will have your boon granted."
It all happened so fast. One moment I was approaching Gnash and Three wanting to ask them if they knew a secluded place where I could change my bandages, the next Three whispered something to Gnash and an argument between the two, and Rohar who had just turned up, broke out. Something hush hush about a scythe and godkilling and meeting the queen again and then not and some yelling from Rohar followed by some harsh words from Gnash and ultimately ending in something resembling a compromise. A lot was said in a short amount of time. Not all of it had been good. The involvement of the gods, however minute it could be, was cause for concern. Not in the least as it was not our place as mere mortals to meddle in the affairs of the divinity, let alone pretend to know what goes on in the mind of a god. The relic Three had brought to bare, the aforementioned scythe complete with inscribed symbols, looked for all intents and purposes like a regular scythe such as commonly used to clear the reeds from the river bank. Had Three not pointed out the symbols, I could have mistaken them for a crafter's mark.
'Regardless of how this relic, or close copy, came to be here, it is of concern that it is no longer here.' I leaned in closer to join in on the whispered conspiracy unfolding. 'Power is a dangerous allure and if what Three said is right, it is in our, and Aldhahab's, best interest to see it restored to its rightful owner or place.'
I tapped my chin in a moment of contemplation. 'Perchance there is a connection between this item gone missing and the troubles that plague our lands. Upsetting the natural order above shall always yield repercussions for those below.'

I should probably mention though that the scythe isn't quite as reminiscent of a normal scythe. That's my bad, I should have described it better. The scythe has a metal snake wrapped around the uppermost part of it, and at the bottom there are ugly chains tied above an inscription of an upside down carving of Osiris's symbol.

The damp cloth around my eyes must have obscured my vision more than I would like to admit, for when I dragged a knuckle hard across my face to clear the vapors, the agricultural implement depicted on the papyrus sheet Three showed to us shifted more into focus. The lines became less blurry, the colours filled out better, and the entire picture morphed from simple tool to a menacing instrument designed if not to kill, then to put the fear of being killed by it into whatever poor soul found itself on the business end of the blade.
'I'd imagine it should be difficult to carry this around out in the open.' I said in a softspoken whisper tinted with a foreign reverence I did not know the origin of. 'How would they even go about doing that?'
"OK, we aren't quitting, and we aren't giving up. Should we go to the Sphinx, or track down this scythe thingy". Rohar says to the group that seems to be gathering back together. "I need some simple supplies like rations, and rope, and such, is there a tent for that?" She looks around all the tents to try to find the correct one.

Was gonna say! Aren't we supposed to be dealing with the sphinxes first?! What's with this turn of events? she thinks as she stays 10 feet away from everyone else and becomes rigid with fear once again. "What?" she grumbles as a wave of eyes wash over the new cloak she is wearing.

At a quick glance, Rohar spots a brown tent labeled 'Tajir's top tastes' which looks like the ideal place to buy rations and waterskins. In terms of rope there seems to be no clear cut shop, though the somewhat smaller orange tent labeled 'Desert wanderer's delight' looks promising.
