To Boghadair she says, “I am somewhat of a tinker and was wondering how they did their metal work.  I think someday I might even go to Neverwinter to master the craft.”  As Tyrus enters the shop, she lights up like a firefly.  “Sir Tyrus...... ( she seems to savor each syllable). I had feared you lost.  I don’t think I could handle that.  If you have time tonight I would love to show you something special.”

In her time alone with Tyrus, Linene offered a map to the location to the shield of Bahamut. It had been stolen from the Well of Dragons and taken across Faerûn to the Star Mountains.  This is several days south of Phandelver.  She is willing to part with it as partial payment towards the weapons that the party has offered.  She will trade 1200 gp and the map for the weapons and a night with Tyrus.

While Linene and Tyrus are off together to discuss the terms of the sale, Boghadair wanders around the store and switches price tags randomly for various items. Nothing outrageous, just enough to be off by a couple of coppers.

"What did you have in mind, Linene? A walk amongst the stars?" Tyrus asks.

I wonder if I'll wake up without a kidney...

Linene replied, “Just some of your warmth in this cold world.  Maybe just a smile to carry me forward.”  Sealing the deal she leads the paladin away.  As she exists she shouts to Boghadair, “He will see you in the morning.  The prices are not real..... I want you to grab the package by the door for yourself.”

The package contained two silvered arrows.

No harm came to Tyrus ;however, he was not fully rested by morning.  All characters can roll another hit dice.

In the morning Sildar and Gundren arrive at the Inn ready to head to the cave.

All characters level up.

OOC: took linguist feat (+1 intel and 3 languages -Goblin, Draconic, Dwarvish)

OOC: Woohoo! Took the "Tough" feat and HP level gain is 10.

ooc: took “observant” feat, increasing my passive perception to 19 and passive investigation to 23... not much gets past my notice. i can also read lips now.

All characters can divide up 1200 gp as Tyrus returns smiling but somewhat worn out.

If anyone needs supplies please let me know if you add anything.

Ian bought caltrops and 2 flasks of holy water. 

I perform my ritual in honor of venomfang and attune to my daggers.  

“Can we leave our dragon parts somewhere here in Phandelver? What are we doing with all the other things we have not sold yet?   .... horses?  Other than that, I am ready to go.”

Thagakh takes 200 gold and buys 5 Manacles (10 gp total).

Tyrus will turn that 200gp into a set of splint armor (how much will Linene give Tyrus for his old set of chain mail?) and will also spend 45 sp on 9 days of rations.

While the group prepares, Tyrus spends most of his time staring at the map he obtained from Linene.

The shield of Bahamut...is this why I am here?
