▄▄▄Chapter One: Dragon's Rest▄▄▄
After the picnic and much discussion, it was discovered that Filia (the elven one), Elsa (the edgy one), and Mirrian (the cute one, imo) were heading in the same direction as Rook and Quinn. With the wizard's awakened spellbook, Enigma, in tow, the group traveled together and embarked on a ship heading towards Stormwreck Isle, specifically heading to Dragon's Rest.
Rook is on a quest to finish what his old wizard friend started, though what that is exactly is unknown to him. He simply knows that he must go to Dragon's Rest and find Runara. Rook has also suffered from nightmares about darkness engulfing an island, so it would seem there is no coincidence that he finds himself traveling here.
Your journey was uneventful, but the island now visible off the bow promises rare wonders. Seaweed shimmers in countless brilliant colors below you, and rays of sunlight defy the overcast sky to illuminate the lush grass and dark basalt rock of the island. Avoiding the rocks jutting up from the ocean, your ship makes its way toward a calm harbor on the island’s north side.
A large, open-air temple comes into view, perched on the edge of a cliff high above you. The ship drops anchor at the mouth of the harbor, and two sailors row you ashore. You have plenty of time to admire the towering statue at the center of the temple, depicting a wizened man surrounded by seven songbirds. A long path winds up the side of the cliff to the temple, dotted along the way with doorways cut into the rock.
The sailors set you ashore on a rickety dock, where a large rowboat is neatly tied. They point to the base of the path and wish you good luck before they row back to the ship. Your visit to Dragon’s Rest begins!
... or so you thought!
As you’re about to leave the beach and start your climb, you hear a ruckus of splashing and a wet, gurgling moan behind you. Three figures are shambling up from the water’s edge, about thirty feet away. They’re dressed as sailors, but their skin is gray and they look drowned. Sea water drools from their slack mouths as they lurch toward you.
Roll for initiative! Zombie sailors have come for you!
Zombies 3 (they will attack on the same turn)
(Roll just for you and Quinn and also react! I will get the girls online shortly.)

For the briefest of moments, it seems all of them are dead, but before anyone can really celebrate aside from Quinn, two of them stand again! The zombies are slow and sluggish, their bodies bloated with water... Can you even slay these creatures??
Enigma flies to your face and flips open to a simple page about zombies (revealing that it knows the Create and Summon Undead spell) and you see that these types of zombies have an evil tenacity to continuously rise. The surest way to dispatch them rather than trial and error would be some holy magic if you had any available.
It's Rook's turn!
(The zombies are back up but didn't attack for this tutorial stage lol~ They are at 1 HP and have an AC of 8. Hopefully you can get the job done before they get to attack. They will guaranteed try to attack on their turn if they don't perma-die!!)
