Roland smiled. "We seem to have a plan, then." He stood. "I'll meet you guys at the room at midnight. Don't worry, I won't go far." With another smile, he walked over toward Kahpi. He laid his gold down, announcing, "This is for my share of the room tonight. The others will cover theirs shortly." He then lowered his voice, asking, "By the way, do you have any baths here? I can pay extra if needed."

(( Roland has been working in his armor all day, and just wants to get out of it long enough to refresh himself in preparation for their excursion. No need to RP the event, he'll just reappear back at the room at midnight once everyone else is ready to go. ))

"Of course. Its 1 silver or 10 coppers. Just turn the spigot and hot water will come out." says Kaphi as she points Roland to the bathroom. 

Zhernon pays for his share and heads to the room to rest and wait.

Twig watches Zhernon carefully, then makes sure she replicates the exact amount of money he places on the counter. After doing that she follows him to the room.

Tilsu sets her share onto the counter and gives Kephi a slight bow. She heads to the room, "Twig, did you see a few guards down there or no? If you did could you tell me what they were wearing."

(The guards in the basement wear the same uniform you have already seen from other guards)

(Was more wondering if they had helms or hats on.)

(Yes a kettle hat, but the guards won't think it too strange if you do not have one on)

Lol I guess Twig just described them on her way to the room.

"Perhaps a bell or some sort could let us know when you need a hand." She suggests as she stuffs her chainmail into the chest of her bed.

(Its midnight as you discuss your plans)

"I do have one of those," Twig says as she pulls out a her beat up looking little bell and jingles it around a bit, "Though it might alert the other guards. We could instead hoot like owls!"

Just then, Roland walked in, already in armor. "I like the idea of an animal noise," he said as he walked over to his backpack on his bed. The farmboy immediately started putting the guard uniform on over his armor. "We can maybe respond with another animal if need be," he added, quickly casting a cantrip that summoned a faint cat's meow to illustrate.

Finally finished with the last of the outfit, he looked at the others. "Are we ready then?"

Twig grins at Roland, “So if we need help, we hoot like a owl, if you are responding to the call you meow like a cat! Sounds good to me! Let’s go!”

Tilsu starts to put on the uniform as well, "Could also just toss something at us...like tap our legs with those balls you were picking at the storage." She fixes her hair to cover her face more. She puts on the armband last as she nods to Roland, "Ready either way, we're bound to atleast see this mysterious storyteller."

Twig shrugs, "I guess that would work too. Um, so what's the plan for me and Zhernon? Are we hiding in boxes or are we just relying on stealth?"

"Zhernon has outfit too." They hold up the armband and such that they smuggled out.

(Looks like everyone is ready.)

The party leaves the Revered Sheep and head towards the prison dressed as guards. You see the 2 guards in front and more in the watchtowers

Its currently a bit after midnight and you see the glow of candles and lanterns from people's homes and lit torches by the side of the gate and in the watchtowers.
