(OOC: And this one's for you John, after that you pick up Scott's character and the complement is complete)
Not long after the party members are settled aboard ship it takes off. A day so later in the middle of the night when you are all asleep in your cabins, you feel a sudden thump and then you hear a gentle swish.
Cero two months ago you received a message saying that your application to the Spelljammer Academy had been successful and you were to be on Sambar's main pier at midnight on the third day, second tenday, Month of Mirtul (The Melting). As this was the day after Gond's most important holy day - the Ippensheir - you felt it was auspicious.
As you stand on the pier, most of the harbour is fairly quiet when a strange looking ship sails into the harbour and drops anchor. You hear the sounds of a longboat being lowered and then the sound of oars dipping into the water. Not long after the longboat approaches the area of the pier where your standing. A large humanoid figure in the stern of the boat looks up at you and says "your obviously Cero. Well climb aboard I've not got all night!" You climb aboard and the longboat's crew row back to the ship. As it is making its way back to the ship the figure introduces himself “I am Command Master Chief Father Patrick Michael O’Shannesy, and for my sins it’s my job to round up and then babysit this year’s sorry lot of cadets. You may call me Command Master Chief, Chief but you never call me Sir, that’s what I get to call you if you graduate!” He reaches into a pocket in his tunic and grabs out what looks like a small glass tablet on a lanyard “put this on, you’ll find it useful!”
As you examine the tablet, you find written on the back in large red letters the words ‘DON’T PANIC’and then in far smaller writing at the very bottom the words“actually panicking is a probably a very good option”appear before they quickly disappear. Upon further examination you realise that across the bottom of the table there are two rows of three circles etched into the glass; the left hand most circles in each row are currently green in colour. Your name has appeared on the centre of the tablet and underneath there are the words ‘Cadet’.
The longboat eventually reaches the ship where a ladder hangs down the side. The Master Chief says "well climb aboard and don't dilly dally I've got one more pick-up to make and then I can sit down and put my feet up for a bit." After Cero climbs aboard he notices that despite only having one leg, the Master Chief who in the light of the ship's lanterns is a half-orc, has absolutely no difficulty in scaling the rope ladder - it's almost as if he has been doing it for years. "Right I'll take you to your birth" the Master Chief says and he heads off below decks. He comes to a cabin door on the port side and bangs on it "Dimbo you've got a room mate"as he opens the door. Looking in Cero can see that the cabin is about 10x10 feet and has a small desk, a set of bunks and a small wardrobe. On the lower bunk you can see some sort of amorphous shape with two glowing dots moving around in it.

"Alright, boss man. Alright. No need to be telling the Zelacious one twice now, is there? I can follow direction well enough..." Zelacious says with his hands sarcastically up and he shuffles sideways down the hall, the entire time eyeballing Father Pat. "No need to be pulling an attitude, I ain't done nothing to you or yours... Tell me this though, you believing the worst about me just 'cause where you found me or is it that you just jealous of my fine, reddish brown hair? There be werewolves in London jealous of my hair, I tell you! Ain't no shame in it..."
But Zelacious does not put up a fight or any more of an argument than that when being confined to his quarters. He does give Father Pat a ver close look over trying to note where the man is likely to keep the keys to the room on his person... (Perception 13 ) Of course if he can't eyeball that he's not too worried, he's got quick and nimble hands and given the right moment he'll have Padre Pat light as a feather...
"So, what you in for, Ozzy? Tell me it was something fun and fabulous and involved some of those twins I hear they produce on Risa...."
((Gnome?? GNOME?? I'm Hadozee!!! lol))
"Semi private accommodations and free transport? No worries, slim, I ain't got no complaints... Except lack of ale, eh? See if you can't bring us down a pint or three. And maybe something for Ozzy, eh? These Giff may be teetotalers but that doesn't mean I won't drink his share!"
Either in a bout of laziness or simply as a matter of still 'waking up' at the time, said emerald green amorphous shape extended a psuedopod out to wave at both captain and Cero before returning to its neutral state. Once he(she?/they?) fully enter the room to start perhaps putting their things away, it's then that Dimbo gathers the werewithall to reshape some of his mass into the facsimile of a face, forcing the glowing dots -- which upon closer inspection appear to be some kind of gems or reflective stone -- to settle into place as 'eyes'.
"Welcome aboard, friend! I hope the trip here has treated you well! And if not, then certainly the on duty chef might once meal times comes about!"Dimbo greets cheerily in his baritone voice. His whole body then appears to jiggle a bit as he lets out mirthful chuckle. "And don't mind our elven compatriot when you meet her. She's just nervous about all this I'm sure."

Upon sighting the ship that Naidania will be part of, she inspects it briefly before going on board. In the cargo deck, she would pick the last bed available. This is not the first ship that she traveled, so sharing quarters with strangers is nothing new to the Astral Elf. She leaves her backpack on her bed, and she heads to the helm. That is the place that she looked forward to get herself acquainted with. Upon arriving at the helm, she notices that the human named Shean Tuck Tilard is already there. "Ohh. Greetings Mr. Tilard." She says politely. Not being a person for small talks, she goes to inspect the bridge of the ship. (If allowed, she checks the condition of the equipment on the bridge. Intelligence: 18) Satisfied with her findings, she eats her supper with her new crew mates, and she retires for the day.

The next day is fairly quiet and the five cadets are allowed to wander freely on the lower deck to the mess hall, heads and elsewhere. Cero obviously overwhelmed tends to stay in his cabin. Whenever one of the cadets attempts to go up onto the outside deck they find a crewmen stationed at the top of the companionway. While it is not always the same crewmen the message is the same "sorry no further gentlemen, the Command Master Chief would have my guts for garters if I let you go any further!".
As for Zalacious and Ozzy, it is obvious that they are still not trusted as their cabin continues to be locked but food, and not bad food at that, is brought to them on a regular basis. They are also escorted individually by two crewmen to the heads on a regular basis.
Sometime after 'Last Post (or Taps for those of you on the wrong side of the International Date Line) is blown and the cadets are all in their cabins they feel the ship stop moving. Not long afterwards they is a lot of banging, swearing, cursing and the occasional hissing coming from the corridor outside the cabins. The Command Master Chief knocks on Naidana's door and says "sorry you've got a bunk mate but he shouldn't be too much trouble if he knows what's good for him!"Two burly crewman drag a large - well over 6 foot - scaly creature into the room. A sack of some sort covers its head but there is lot of hissing and what sound like the occasional word but in no language that Naidana recognises coming from underneath the sack, and it is hands are tied behind its back. The crewmen unceremoniously dump the creature on the lower bunk and walk out. The Command Master Chief in a not unfriendly tone says to the creature "calm down and we wont need to come back!"
A particularly loud hiss answers the master chief from under the creature’s hood and it’s powerful arms flex hard against the bonds, to no apparent effect. The creature remains tense and wary, on edge for a fight but securely bound.

As curious as soul as Dee Da Doo tended to be, even the resident plasmoid was wise enough to be patient and wait for Cero to open up at his own pace. That said, the same could not be said for when a new stimulus arrived a day later! At the time, Dimbo had been making plans of trying to slip into Ozzy and Zalacious room, hoping to discover more of their particular circumstances and so forth. But with all the ruckus going on down the hall, it isn't long instead that he literally slip out of his room through the cracks and reformed himself out in the hall after the two burlies passed by to return to duty.
"W-he-he-well~ What all this be about today?"He asked of the Chief. But he'd just as well clear out of the way for the half-orc should the man want to be off following the drop off of the latest acquisition. In such a case, Dimbo more or less rolls his way over to peek into Daidana's room. "Well would'ja look at this fine specimen of a progenitor race!
