While she's digging, Eithne jokes with Chara: "Hey, once again... who is serving whom?" (this time, however, the tone is clearly light - anyone can understand that the last of the dusk elf maidens is not being serious) "You, who should be the mistress, are here, digging next to me... while Ichabore , who should be the servant, is having fun who knows where... Don't you want to call him and have him dig a bit too? With his bare hands, of course (or rather, with his bare claws), since we don't have a shovel small enough..."
Lenn only nods when Chara thanks him softly. He doesn't talk during the rest of the day, he is just there, sharing the time and the road with the party. After the past months being alone, despite his initial fears, he must admit that it is good to have someone near.
When they arrive to the graveyard and see the strange behavior of the raven he closes his eyes for a moment, concentrating, reaching out, trying to sense any undead or fiend nearby. If it is a trap he trust he could sense it.
"We could start by that one " he says trying to read the inscription, if there's any, on the tombstone "It's as better as any other..."
"'We could start', you say?" Eithne feigns indignation "Chara and I are already at work, in case you haven't noticed! Stop pretending to be busy with something important and give us a hand!"
Definitely, the hope of being on the verge of recovering something capable of damaging (even if only indirectly) the terrible Stradh put her in a decidedly better mood than usual.
Anyway, ceasing to joke, she asks Lenn: "What does the writing say?"
Chara giggles at the idea of making Ichabod dig up the grave.
"I suppose we could give him a spoon to dig with," Chara replies to Eithne. "Just make sure that it's a wooden spoon. Devils aren't great with silver, for some reason."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Lucian eyes the raven for a moment, but quickly picks up a shovel to help with digging. "That's strange. Why would the raven help us?"
He laughs a little when Eithne talks of having Ichabod do the digging for them, but gives Chara a confused look when she mentions that devils aren't good with silver, "Uh... what do you mean they...aren't good with silver?" He gives an awkward chuckle, "I mean... I'm not good with silver either."
Chara pauses in her work, wiping away a bit of sweat.
"Most fiends are extremely difficult to kill with mortal weapons," Chara explains to Lucian. "But silver blades seem to cut through devils the same way they cut through everything else. I guess it works the same way for them as it does for werewolves, though I don't know enough about lycanthropy to say for sure."
After a few moments to catch her breath, she resumes digging. She is eager to obtain what they came for and get out of here, the sooner the better.

Lucian eyes the raven for a moment, but quickly picks up a shovel to help with digging. "That's strange. Why would the raven help us?" ...
"Maybe he expect to be allowed to eat the carrion resting here below?" Eithne is joking again.
Then, more seriously: "Well... Just another mistery in this story, but it is showing too much intelligence to be a simple bird. It must be a magical creature, with its own goals. Given that it neither attacked nor pranked us, I'm going to consider it friendly and follow its advice. We had no better idea where to dig anyway..."
Chara freezes. She doesn't exactly consider her familiar 'trustworthy,' but she knows that he does genuinely desire to keep her safe, at least physically.
"I was wondering if that raven might have been you in disguise..." Chara says to the familiar, handing off her shovel to either Lenn or Nikolai and climbing out of the grave to continue conversing with the tiny devil. "I guess you that you answered that question... do you know what it actually is? And... well, if you don't trust the raven, do you have any other leads on which grave we should be digging up?"
(also, I forgot to have Ichabod take the Help action to give Chara advantage on her Perception check, so I'll go ahead and do a second roll here).
Perception: 16

(Chara was in the hole when Ichabod appeared on her shoulder... already did the second roll and got 16 since I figured she could get advantage by having Ichabod use the Help action, but if we got advantage from being in the pit then it's the same effect).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Oh,” Lucian replies to Chara. Part of him thinks that it this is just another reason for at least one person in their group to get some silver. But another part of him is rebelling against the idea of having something in common with…devils. Shaking his head, he pushes the thought aside.
He nods to Ethine’s explanation of the raven, but focuses on digging instead of answering. He shoots a few glances in the bird’s direction every so often just to see if it stays where it is
Lucian is also in the pit… so Perception with advantage…19.
Bran didn't know how many hours he'd spent in the darkness of that sort of wooden box, but it felt like ages.
He had screamed, pushed and punched it until his hands and fingers hurt like hell and he came to the realization that the more he moved, the more air he consumed. He tried to remain calm ... for a short while. Grabbed his lute - which fortunately was next to his left hand - and this familiar sensation somehow calmed him.
In this state of relative calmness he heard something. Was that... someone outside!? He didn't think twice.
-HELP!!!!! PLEASE, HELP!!!!
He kicked and punched, the anxiety to leave that oppresive box making him ignore the pain in is hands.
Chara looks at the fresh grave, not entirely sure if she should consider it relevant or not since presumably the book that they are looking for has been in the grave for some time. But she immediately changes her mind when she hears... something. She approaches cautiously. As she gets closer she hears... a voice? Is there... is there a LIVING PERSON buried in the grave? Or perhaps there is an undead digging its way to the surface... either way, there is no time to lose.
"I don't want to alarm anyone..." the she-devil calls to everyone who isn't busy on the first grave right now, pointing to the fresh grave. "But there's something... or someone... in there! We're either about to fight an undead or someone is alive in that grave!"
“I…I hear it too,” Lucian replies shakily. “It…sounds like they need help. We…we should help them right?” He doesn’t wait for a response, detecting respiration in the voice of the trapped individual. Instead, he moves to start uncovering whatever or whoever is screaming. Part of him warns that this could be a trap, but he also knows that if this isn’t a trap…then doing nothing would result in the death of an innocent individual… unless of course there is a reason they were buried alive? But if that was the case why not use the gallows? He shakes his head, if this turns out to be a mistake he is sure that they can handle it…hopefully.

I suppose Eithne was also in the pit? If so here is her 2nd roll: 24

Eithne and Lucian:
Having stopped digging, you can now hear what sounds like someone screaming and pounding, muffled through the dirt.
Chara:
Looking at the graves again, you notice that one of the undisturbed grave looks fresher than the others.
The raven flies off.
