Khessa marvels at the eyes that unfurl before her - and rubs hers with her fingers for a while, until she is convinced she's not dreaming or hallucinating; then: "Soooo nice to meet you, Gabbagool! I'm Khessa, Khessa Cabbagefield! So do you say..." she stops the Faithful Butler for a moment, then makes it suddenly playfully resume tickling the gelatinous creature "...that tickles!? Ah, you like it huh? I can continue if you want... but in the meantime, would you answer my friend Traydark? We really need to get out of here... But we can take you with us, if you like! You'd see a lot of interesting places! Do you see how many already joined us?" nodding to Katryl, Ebzer, Stool, Rumpadump and also showing Pelek's hand for a moment.
(OOC: This is meant as help for Traydark - it does not matter, in this case, since his first roll was the better one, but Khessa would not know of that and thus she would of course lend help to her preferred drow noble)
The odd jelly wiggles a bit. "I suppose it does a little! I'm Gabbagool! Are you adventurers? I've never met real adventurers! Can I come with you!?"It wiggles again. "Have you been in this temple long? Why are you here? Get out? I suppose walking back out is a good idea! Of course I don't really walk, I ooooooooooooooze!" You hear their odd laugh echo in your minds (yes, this is all telepathic).
"You are welcome to come with us, dear! So you'll become a real adventurer also!" imagines to smile Khessa (her idea of 'telepathic smile') "But... you know? We can't ooooooooooooooze (which must be terribly cool, by the way)... we need a path that can be walked. So we can not go back - the way is blocked for us. We need to find a new way. Anyway, I'm sure that with your help it will be easier. You must have been here a long time - certainly longer than we have. There's some walkable path that comes to your mind? Or shall we simply take the other exit and see where it leads?"
"Oh! I...uh...umm...maybe? Sort of? I can at least get out of the way here!" Globbagool began to ooze down the hallway, albeit at a rather slow rate, until a bit further down the hall opened up wider with plenty of room to pass them on one side. "Maybe there is an exit this way! You all really should tell me all about yourselves! I never get to talk to anyone! I think..."
"We were all captured by drow," Katryl says to Globbagool. "We hope to find a way to the surface - at least many of us are. But at the moment we'd settle for a way out of this rising water!" She pauses a moment at the ooze moves out of the way. "Is it normal for... well, oozes such as yourself to talk like you do?"
"I think it's more likely that the wild effects of the demonic activity caused this to our new friend..." hypothezises Khessa "Like what happened to Pelek's hand that got animated and so on. Anyway, this time I'm glad that happened! If only all oozes could be this nice and helpful!"
"Another pathetic life form..." The noble drow mutters to himself and sighs. "I'm afraid it would be natural to assume you are under the influence of Jubilex, the demon lord of ooze, but we are of course only happy to be convinced otherwise."He tells Glabbagool in a polite smile.
The duergar and the silent cleric follow along with the others, cheering as they defeated the oozes, and gruffly suspicious of the giant cube of jelly that speaks into their minds. "Keep outta my head, Gabbadoo!"he says a bit testily.
"Who? I'm excited to meet you all! What's a Jubilex? I don't know!? Have you met many blobs like me? I'm afraid I don't get out much! Wait! Drow? Like him? Ooh I have on inside me too!" Glabbagool shimmied a bit. "What's it like to be an adventurer? Why did the drow want you? Is it hot on the surface world? Cold? Oooh we're still going!" They follow (or lead) down the hall at their slow oozy pace.

Silas purrs in a (hopefully) persuasive voice, "Glabbagool, friend, would you mind allowing me to examine that weapon you have acquired? Yes the one with the spiky metal ball on the end.... Thank you, dear."
The noble drow simply shakes his head at the jumble of questions that the ooze messages out but follows along, hoping they were getting out of these tunnels before Glabbagool inquired them to a slow death.

"We met so many blobs," says Khessa "but really nobody like you! You are special! Not for nothing, you joined us... now you are a blob-adventurer! Don't worry, you'll get out with us, if you like!"
"Yes!" approves blonde arcane warrior "Drow are just like that guy inside you. Drow usually want to capture other people to enslave them - to keep them prisoners and have them to follow their orders. It's not a good thing. Luckily they're not all like that... Do you see Traydark, for example? He's a drow too, but he's not trying to enslave you! In fact, I know him well, he's certainly very happy that you've joined us!" (she desperately tries not to laugh) "He also tryied to make conversation with you..."
"What's it like to be an adventurer?" sighs the tall adventuress."It's, above all, dangerous. You end up going places that many would stay away from. Or keeping unusual company. Or having to fight strange hostile creatures. If you ask me, in my opinion it's much better to be a cabbage farmer... when people leave you alone to do it. But sometimes you have to adapt to circumstances. I didn't choose the career of an adventuress... it just happened. But I have to admit, if you survive all the dangers I mentioned to you, at least you live a lot of interesting experiences, which otherwise you would have struggled to even imagine. If you hadn't become an adventuress, for example, I wouldn't have met you".
"On the surface it's very different from here..." explains Khessa "Underground, the temperature is very uniform - maybe a little cold, but about the same over time. Outside there is more variety, in the for better or for worse. During the year, warmer or colder periods alternate. And also the various areas, depending on where they are located, can tend to be warmer or colder. And even the ceiling... it's not stone, like here. Outside, the ceiling is made of air, it's called the sky, it's very high up... and much more varied! I don't know if you'll like it more or less than underground... but it sure will be something profoundly different. And seeing different things opens the mind".
"Hm? Oh this!" The gelatin blob wiggle again and pushes the mace out of them letting it clank of the floor. "I don't think I need it!" They take you down to a corner room, where several more gray oozes suddenly slorp down from the ceiling! But Globbagool stretches themselves some to make a gelatinous wall between the part and the oozes! "Keep going! I'll catch up! These aren't being very nice to my new friends! And wow that sounds amazing! I hope I can be a big brave adventurer like you all one day!"

Katryl keeps moving. "We'll be fine if we just keep going. There's got to be a way out somewhere here." She continues to keep looking for any potentially hidden passages as they move. (Perception: 9)
(Sorry, the mace is a common magic item which can be turned on to emit a green flame glow up to 15 ft. If you use it as a weapon it deals an extra 1 fire damage on a hit)
You all eventually make it down a longer, narrow hall to a room where there is an opening on your left, and on the right 4 openings. The sound of water seems to echo all around you but still hard to tell exactly where it is or where it is coming from.
"Oh I don't know! You're the adventurer's not me!" Globbagool says as you all survey the room. "I was always in the other hall! I think...was I? How long have I been here?" They wiggle again.

"You too are now..." Khessa points out "You fought enemies at our side - or even better - in our place! You have been very kind and very brave Globbagool, thank you so much!"
"Well, where to now?"The noble drow calls out in an urgent tone to the annoyingly pleasant ooze.
"Let's see if there is some evident difference" proposes Khessa, sending her Faithful Butler with the unreal azure light-emitting pebble 10' - 20' down each way (both the single and each of the 4)... and looking with attention (from where she is - she does not want to follow, at the moment) - do the ways all look all the same? Or there is something different in any of them?
