The first to complete the course is Mirelda. As she rings the gong, you can hear the dwarf sailor before cursing in his native toungue while the half-orc laughs at him.
Race positions:
Mirelda
Bellona & Zaridil
Beshlog & Muck
Adam & Warren
(Nat 1s do count as two failures)
All tasks completed, orientation is nearly over. As you all take a moment to rest from the obstacle course, you remember Tarto asking to see you all once all the tasks are done.
To all that have completed the course, you gain inspiration, which is in this case, everyone.
"Well Muck, at least we don't suck as much as Adam and Warren," Beshlog chuckles, trying (and probably failing) to hide his bruised ego under the light-hearted teasing of his teammates. "Congrats, ladies and Zaridil."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Mirelda laughed happily ringing the gong - it was not unlike the hard drills all tritons are going through, but (at least for this first test) lighthearted and more like a game. "Wow, that was fun! Not eager to repeat it right away but can see myself coming back for practice. Then we can repeat the run and compete for real," she winked at Beshlog and smiled. "Well, boatswain Tarto wanted to see us, let's not make her wait, she did not look like a patient type".
The excitement began to wear down a little but Mirelda was still almost skipping all the way back to the simulation room.
"True Beshlog," Muck responds, "I have never been good at physical tasks as you well saw, but if there is anyplace that you need to get into come see me and I will be able to get in without anyone else knowing we were there. Now that we are all done shall we head on over to Tarto?"
Warren frowns at Beshlog and Muck, "We are right here ye know. You try doin that in plate armor! It ain't easy!"He shakes his head and looks at Adam, "We'll show them in the next simulation, won't we?" He slaps the elf's metal clad back, "Now let's go see Tarto."
Muck turns to Warren, chuckles and then two hand appendages appear and go over his body that is bereft of anything. "Might be why I took most of my items off." He says as he goes back to the beginning and gathers his belongings and heads toward the exit.
"Yup, what Muck said," Beshlog snickers. "It does help to travel light... but we're just messin' with you blokes. We all have our bad days. Sometimes ya' just gotta have a good laugh about it. Right, Muck?"

As you all enter the sim deck, you see another group of cadets being lectured by Tarto. Its seems she's reviewing their simulation, going over their strengths and shortcomings. After the last review, she passes out the same flyer you all have, sending them off to do their orientation. She notices your group and gives a nod,
Tarto waits a moment before sighing, "Not the best report, but definitely the shortest. Your last task is a delivery to the Old Wolf, the academy founder Mirt." She reaches into her bag at her side and pulls out a gold cap, one after another, for each of you. "A crate addressed for him has arrived and is currently waiting in the stores level. I do advise you all to avoid tampering or damaging the crate. His room is on the officers' level and the gold cap shall give you temporary clearance. Now I'd keep the noise to a minimum as the man had to entertain dignitaries from Rock of Bral till late so he's not in the best of moods right now."
"Wait, right now? Like the first mission already?"Then the words fully sunk in her brain, and Mirelda realized "the mission" was not a transporting something on their own ship to another world, but a simple use of fresh muscles to move around heavy goods. "Sorry." She picked up her cap without further comments and stepped back silent as if they were already on the officer's level.
"Right then, happy to make myself useful," Beshlog says, taking the offered cap. "Are there any additional instructions for us or extra stops we need to make?"

(Okay, I've confused some with the posting of the courses. So I will clarify the order of the courses and the current position for all.)
Current race positions, based on completion and amount of failed saves.

After the last review, she passes out the same flyer you all have, sending them off to do their orientation. She notices your group and gives a nod,
"Report cadets?" she asks.
"Sure, sure." Warren replies, his aggression seemingly gone. He's more angry with himself than with the others.
When they finally meet up with Tarto, "Well, we completed our tasks. What should we do next?"
Tarto waits a moment before sighing, "Not the best report, but definitely the shortest. Your last task is a delivery to the Old Wolf, the academy founder Mirt." "No, that will be the last task and then you are free for the day." Tarto answers, "You can go have that congratulatory drink after this task."
