"Spelljammers are the pilots. They steer the ship. Pretty much anyone can be it as long as they can cast a spell. Corp cadets are those that aren't magical. I'll let Saerthe explain more, he's a big mouth but I've yet to see a better spelljammer than him."
"Well if there's nothing else, you all better get going. I've got to run the more advanced simulations for next couple of hours. And please take the checkpoints seriously, they're not lying when they say they'll disintegrate you." Tarto signals to an gnome officer who sits at a strange chair of sorts. She gives a nod and the runes upon the simulation deck start to hum with magical energy. You can see faint images start to appear about the deck. Ship decks of varying styles shift through as Tarto examines the illusion, checking her ledger every now and then.
(If there's no questions for Tarto, I'll start to move the group for the administration office.)
"Sure, sure," muttered Mirelda leaving the training ground. The warning could be serious but "disintegration" sounded too unbelievable to take it like this. Besides, she was too excited to find out she could be a future spelljammer."I wonder if they allow us to try a helmet... Or, hopefully, when they will allow us to do so. Must be super cool! Can go straight there?"
She did not insist, of course, and would be perfectly fine to begin with the welcoming gift.
"It would seem our current location is in the middle of the Academy's tower. May I suggest we visit the Cadet Quarters first to see to our lodging on our way down to the Admin Offices?
A loud "GRRRROOOOWWWL!!!" sounds from Adam's stomach.
"-And maybe some food from the Stores along the way?"
“Sure thing! It would be nice to drop some stuff off too. I defiantly would like to get something to eat before even thinking about the assault course. I’ve heard its no walk in the park.”
Bellona chimes in while throwing her pack over her shoulder.
Zaridil shakes his head in disagreement, causing his leporine ears to flop comically. “The paper suggests only those proficient in martial weaponry need visit the Cadet Quarters. I reckon…” he muses out loud, tracing a finger across the parchment, “we should split into groups and go our separate ways, some to Spelljammer and some to Cadets. Then we can meet up to claim our initiation packages and - hopefully! - steal a bite to eat”
Remembering the written warning, he decides to alter his rather poor choice of verb: “I mean… we can find a bite to eat”

Hi there! I'm a Christian musician based in Canada :)
Warren finishes his whisky in two big gulps, then slides the mug back to the bartender. "Sounds like a right good plan to me. I wouldn't mind dropping off a few things at the bunks myself, and food sounds amazing right about now."He grins at Muck, "I'm sure there'll be more ale to come. Where there's food there's usually alcohol."
When Zaridil speaks up, Warren takes a closer look at the list. "I suppose your right. So do ya'll just want to split off after visitin our quarters?"

(Will assume it was a flask you had on your person. And seeing general consensus for heading to the cadet quarters first. Will post in a hour or two if there's no other suggestion)
Bellona will head to the academy with Zaridil. A skip in her step.
”I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to get through basic trainings and into the astral sea. My whole life I felt like this is what i’ve been waiting for.”
"I've felt this way for as long as I can remember. Its hard to explain but I know my place is out there not here. What about yourself Zaridil? (Zar for short or full name?) What brought you to this moment and what do you hope for?"
Zaridil shakes his head in disagreement, causing his leporine ears to flop comically. “The paper suggests only those proficient in martial weaponry need visit the Cadet Quarters.
(The paper says All Cadets: Report to quarters for bunk assignment. Corp Cadets was for the service weaponry at Store. I will want to pickup/buy a better blunt weapon at the store)
(So Zari, Bell, and Mir want to go to the spelljammer nexus and Adam, Warren, and Muck are heading for the cadet quarters. Besh, I can assume you'd like to also go with the other spellcasters as well. We can split the party as wanted but will delay post a short while.)

Zaridil scans the leaflet front and back. Disintegration?
*audible gulp*

Zaridil will head to the Spelljammer quarters first, along with any spellcasters who wish to join him :)

(I guess that works, for some reason i thought we were at a bar. lol. Guess i missed that.)
Warren will also go to the quarters as well, unless the other martials want to go elsewhere.

Zaridil glances over his shoulder at Bellona. “Was it a childhood dream of yours, or a moment of epiphany later on?”

Bellona ask enjoying the company on the walk.
Muck chimes in, "I go where the group goes, quarters it is."
