I came to that bloody crossroads because I was told it was my destiny, I was starting to think that listening to that daft old woman had led me to my death instead. But, since I'm not dead after all, I guess the only logical thing to do is to continue along this path with the two of you. To be honest, I'd much rather have you as allies than enemies - clearly that didn't end well for me last time. If you'd like to set me down I can at least partially heal my wounds and walk on my own."

Jack grimaced at the feeling of whatever vomit managed to coat his backside. But almost soon after, he's chuckling and greeting Chiro immediately with a "Evening Sleepyhead." Aside from that, the Eladrin appeared content to let Leras handle the lion share of bringing of bringing Chiro up to speed while continuing the carry the man. When asked to be let down eventually, Jack "hmm'd" and "hawwed" and generally teased Chiro out of spite for further ruining his perfectly plenty ruined clothes.
Thankfully, it doesn't take long for him to grow bored and tired enough to set the fellow down and help him stabilized before eventually letting Chiro walk and follow under his own power. "Eh, who knows who've I met, 'cause I met plenty of people! But, I don't remember a Madam Eva in particular." He admits. "There was this hag I met named Madam Croaky though! Pretty nice and fair minded for a Hag. But I think that was more from the prolonged influence of feywild's on her than anything." He said with a smirk. "But, nonono! I was actually hired by this other guy to deal with some roving murderers and thieves or some such along with some others. And it would've been a pretty quick job too! But then this other group that got hired on got all stingy and made a right mess of things." He chuckled. "******* dumbasses! But hey! That's all in the past now, ain't it boys?" He asked over his shoulder, presuming the two had opted to keep pace up to then.
Black pools of water stand like dark mirrors in and around the muddy roadway. Giant trees loom on both sides of the road, their branches clawing at the mist, as the tree's finally close back in on the road. The trio following the carriage after Chiro let out the contents of his guts quite vehemently all over the road, only to then fill his belly to the brim with goodberries, unfortunately causing an undesired effect... As each berry gives him the feeling of being full for an entire day, eating so many at once leaves his gut feeling as if he over-ate at a buffet and was now paying the price.
In the distance, rippling through the night sky a piercing, unholy howl can be heard though it sounds distant, it is coming from somewhere ahead of the group. The carriage driver and passenger seem not to care.. or notice, proceeding apace. In time, the tree's break enough for you all too see the shimmering surface of the black water, no longer crystalline pure in appearance reflecting the moon on it's surface as it turns northwestward, the road briefly curving before it vanishes behind another copse of tree's, who's leaves whisper dark secrets to themselves in languages only they can understand.
Another short period of time passes and in the distance, another settlement, or encampment can be seen. Torches and lanterns illuminate most of the area, making it easier to see. Chiro would .. if he inspected himself, realize his bow did not come with him to this world.
Another round of RP before officially making it to camp, otherwise say you're ready to be in the camp and I'll proceed!
"Everyone ready? We should all be on our guard in here. I'd like to see this Madam Eva, but it could be a trap, especially if she led you to getting stuck here. By the way, whats your name? I don't think you've said it." As the group gets to about 10 minutes from the camp Leras casts armor of agathys. You see a light blue sheen grow over his skin and clothes, and he radiates a cold aura.

The road gradually disappears and is replaced by a twisted, muddy path through the trees. Deep ruts in the earth are evidence of the comings and goings of wagons.
The canopy of mist and branches suddenly gives way to black clouds boiling far above. There is a clearing here, next to a river that widens to form a small lake several hundred feet across. Five colorful round tents, each ten feet in diameter, are pitched outside a ring of four barrel-topped wagons. A much larger tent stands near the shore of the lake, its sagging form lit from within. Near this tent, eight unbridled horses drink from the river.
The mournful strains of an accordion clash with the singing of several brightly clad figures around bonfire. A footpath continues beyond this encampment, meandering north between the river and the forest’s edge.
You count atleast twelve by the fire, and it's safe to assume they are also Vistani as their garb matches Esmerelda's. Several of them playing their accordions while others sing along some song of the past, of fortunes gained, and favors paid. Of the blessings and favors they've earned through one thing or another, though as the group singing are drunk to varying extents, the song is disjointed and you can only make out parts of it through their cheerful slurring.
Esmerelda's carriage joins the campfire, now completely encircling it as you all make your way to the camp.
Jack immediately began smiling broadly and rubbing his hands together. "Now THAT is what I'm talking about! Look's like we're in for some good company for tonight, eh boys?" He said with a laugh in voice towards the end. The Eladrin proceeds to wave for Chiro and Leras to follow after him before he picked up the pace to jog towards the gathering, completely confidence in his being able to worm into their good graces.
They were also expected to some extent anyhow, after all! Right?!
Although that said he still calls out along the way as to avoid startling the group by the fire, as their imbibing of spirits could yet make a mess of introduction. "Hi-hi~ Mind if we join you fine lads and lassies? For I find myself in good need of drink and friendly company! Clean clothes too, if you can but spare those as well. Which I happen to have the coin to pay for if need be!"

"I promise you I'm pretty good at this." While he is smiling, something seems a little off about Leras right now. His smile is a little forced, and isn't reflected in his eyes.
Leras' background comes with the following trait: You can always find a place to perform, usually in an inn or tavern but possibly with a circus, at a theater, or even in a noble’s court. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment), as long as you perform each night. In addition, your performance makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognize you in a town where you have performed, they typically take a liking to you.
