Smashing the flaming torch into the jelly, Duncan has to be careful the bits of it don't extinguish the flame and leave him blind again. Then looking to the others says, "I could use a bit of a rest, but we should look around first to make sure this place doesn't have anything else ready to drop down on us."He then slowly heads towards the door to the NE, ready to open it and look inside if no one stops him.

“Agreed.” Kasbis replies to Duncan, as he walks back into the middle of the room to the body of the jelly like thing, wondering how many others this creature has dissolved with its acid and absorbed. “Let’s find a safe place and rest for a bit. Go ahead and open that door, I’m going to have a look at this for a second..”
Kasbis uses the end of a staff to push around the last of the remaining goo and see if he can find anything that was held inside of the beast.

Anxious to get moving, but feeling rested after sitting and talking for a bit, Duncan gets up and, torch in hand, begins to move through, moving to the next door, and unless he hears movement behind it, opens it to continue on. ((perception 15))
