 It is a likely possibility that the host is being affected by the curse but he can't tell for sure.

The figure addresses the whole party. "I have called you here to help those who are being affected by the curse. I'm sure you are aware that the curse is being called the Spellplauge?"

Dr. Tombs listens intently and nods at the selected name of the curse.

Uthal's eyes widen and dart to the man covered under the blankets. He then looks back down at his glass of wine, puts it on the table and takes a step back towards the door. "Its not contagious is it..."

 "My contacts in the Harpers have gathered intel that the cause of the death curse is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger. According to them, it's located deep in the jungles of Chult."

"doesn't seem like welcoming enviroment, but please tell me isn't bringing back from the dead only possible by gods and those chosen by gods?"

 The person doesn't respond.

"If you are willing to take upon this mission I will teleport us all to Chult and give you a map of all the data I collected over the months. So adventurers, will you help those affected by the curse?"

" I would be glad to utilize my gifts for the good of the cursed. However you took me by surprise with that teleport thing. Since you hinted your personal interest with this quest, would it be too rude to ask for simple supplies such as some rations, water sack and let's say bedroll and blanket? I imagine there is no many taverns in the jungle, and I rather spend time being useful than a burden."

 "You will be teleported to a town where you can find such things and I will provide you each with 50 gold pieces."

Dr Tombs jolts up out of the chair and says "Absolutely!" Realizing his over exuberance, he sits back down. "Yes, I am ready."

"apologies for my blunder, i should assume you will have everything thought of upon approaching us with an offer. I accept and assure you Todo what is in my power to help."

Uthal's eyebrow raises at the mention of the gold and he steps forward with a grin. "For fifty gold I can march around a jungle looking for a cure.  Jungle's usually have stuff that need hitting."

"As a paladin of Bahamut, it is my duty to assist," Firebrand says with a look of determination on his face. "Such an evil thing as this spellplague must be put to a stop. I am ready and willing to lend my sword to this noble goal."

Desarian nods and finally speaks for the first time, in a deep voice, "I will assist."

Tytus addresses the quest giver " there is yet one matter I wish to resolve prior teleportation. How should we call you?"

Fushiguro strokes his chin deep in thought. He'd collected enough information just from this little exchange but if he could solve or even fix the curse surely the organization would reward him

"I will assist in this task at hand but is there anything else we should know about this jungle? Natives, the terrain's resources,  those sorts of things..."

He glances to everyone else. Everyone was so eager to just jump in head first. after years of recon he'd learned to be more wary of new and uncharted places.
