Barkas keeps helping to hoist the box up onto the deck to try to achieve an escape. He says “I can transform into something to help, ifn I need to. Let’s get this thing up there and onto the boat before we are all crushed!”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The party ascends to the top deck, in no better state than the others. The quarters they were in had their walls already broken by the tentacles. Through the hole it made, you can see the orc fending off tentacles with his spiders.
"Oi! Hurry over to me! This ship is doomed but we still need the high ground! Your boat is already coming, we just have to survive!" The orc shouts as he sees you all.
The water starts to rise up from the cargo, slowly filling the crew deck.
The ship pitches and rolles as it’s tossed about by the relentless waves. The decks splintered and broken by massive tentacles, their writhing forms causing the timbers to groan in protest, and it seems only a matter of time before it would be pulled under and lost to the briny deep. Alabaster catches sight of the rowboat coming for them, and says to others, “Come on, let’s go help him.” He will continue to dash to join the orc.
Naru will follow Alabaster while helping with the chest to join the orc. Getting to high grounds seems to be the best thing to do. He will use Dash if necessary, otherwise will use Dodge.
"Let's go guys! As long as the boat doesn't split in half like in the play "Titan Hick", we should be fine! That boat prop was a marvel of technology. I wonder where they put it after the play was replaced with another..." He talking out loud but to no one in particular. Talking just seems to calm his nerves.
Barkas grunts and looks at Naru, saying out of the corner of his mouth, “What the hell are you talkin about?” He grunts and strains, helping to lift the box and get it into position.
(No need for dex save that round as the monsters had good rolls)
The party makes it to open deck, to the starboard(right) you can see a row boat heading towards you. But despite the party's combined efforts, the chest is heavy and with the ship being broken apart does not help. The party stops near the center of the ship's deck, slow enough for Shafir to rejoin party, his spell being ignored once more.
(But monsters didn't roll good enough for this round,

(Guys, I think that we can stop Dashing at this point, because according to the DM, we need to survive about 8 more rounds. I don't think we can't make it to the orc in 8 rounds even at normal walking speed -10 feet per round. So instead, we should use our actions to Dodge or Disengage, and move away from the tentacles. Also, casting spells that have WIS or INT on tentacles is like trying to blind someone with a flashlight but aiming at their feet. Won't work. Let's just buff ourselves, and wait for the boat.)
Naru loses balance as the boat rocks hard once more. The chest hits him in the rib cage, causing some pain.
"Damn, this thing is heavy! Better be worth it! Let's keep going!"
Naru will concentrate on moving and using his action to Dodge.
(Barkas, I think you can let the chest go. Even if we add your Str to Alabaster's and my total, I believe the two of us already have the minimum -10 feet penalty. Can't go lower. You probably will want to Disengage and run from the tentacle on your right instead.)
Alabaster steadies himself on the rocking ship as tentacles from an unknown monster slash through the deck. He notices Naru stumble and nods at the bard. "I've got it," Alabaster says. "You can let go." He uses his action to dodge and keeps his footing, all while carrying the crate towards the upper deck to escape the rising water.
Barkas moves toward the edge of the boat, dodging the tentacles and staying on his feet. He makes ready to potentially jump overboard and turn into a reef shark, considering biting the tentacles. “I can jump overboard and bite him in the arse!” he says in a crazed voice.

(Just to keep in mind, if the party does enough damage then it shall delay the tentacles from thrashing near you all for a round. Since there was not enough damage this round, the thrashing gets more violent.)
The beast pulls the ship deeper as its deck starts to fill more. The left side of the ship keeps dropping. The tentacles flail about more, breaking the ship more and whatever left was on the ship.
