"Oh, good! Maybe the Captain will let us spend some time in that port. If he does, can I go to the temple with you?!"
Once he takes his leave from talking to the adventurers, Rook heads down below deck to visit Sal. He looks around at all of the wounded with sadness and speaks softly. "Sal, can, can I, can I help at all?"
Sal looks to Rook coming in. "Ah, Rook." She says, continuing to treat the patients. "Only if you've patched yourself up. If you have, could you soak a couple of those towels in the water bowl over there?" She gestures to one side. "I'll be needing to swap some of these over to staunch the gashes. Tell me if you see anything that looks out of the ordinary."
Sal will be checking over to ensure none of the wounds are diseased or poisoned alongside her medical treatment.
"Sure thing!" Rook leaps into action to help, almost knocking the water bowl over in the process. He realizes he probably doesn't need to rush THAT much, and calms down. He follows Sal's lead and helps out wherever he can. "You were great today, Sal!"
"Thanks, you too Rook." Sal replies, still not taking her eyes off of her patients. "But my job isn't done until all these people are fighting fit again."
After spending some time on the deck, S'ika went back to her room and put away her armor. She seemed pretty winded as she never had to actually fight before. She took a moment to collect herself then proceeded to go where the injured are being treated. As she walked through the door and looked at all of the wounded, she let out a heavy sigh. Gripping her lute tighter, she walked up to Sal. "Only the two of you down here? I can help you need it. I know a little bit"

"Extra hands are always welcome." Sal responds, nursing a nasty open wound on one of the patients. "Though I think your musical arts may be best in this moment. Perhaps something to help raise the moods would be helpful, if you are up to playing."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"To raise the mood huh?"S'ika showed a small grin as she took a quick bow in front of Sal. She then quickly turned around and searched for a small chair to sit on. After she found a suitable stool, she dragged it to where she can be in full view of the patients. She took a moment to think of what she should play. Nothing special came to mind, so she decided to make it up as she goes. "Hope this is to your liking." She said as she started to play. As she played, a couple of luminous musical notes appeared in front of her and began to float around the room.
OOC - The Bardic talent would have it's expected effect, allowing for additional HD recovery, if it mattered, for those who hear.
After a few hours, the combined abilities, spells and talents of the groups - both crew and adventurer - allows for a full recovery of all those who survived. The prisoner is still bound, but seems to be getting weaker, his flesh dry and roughening. The ship sails on, unimpeded, heading to it's next port 'o call.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Sebastian asks the prisoner about other Sahuagin tribes in the area, if any. To the Captain, “what do ya ant to do with em Capt’n. Either throw em back or hang em dead. Let’s not be watching him dry out to die.”
After a moment he breached the subject but already knows the answer. “So we’re not to be goin back after the fish heads? I understand if that’s so, I’m just gonna be disappointed.”
Sal gives Si'ka a smile. "Thank you. It looks like you've helped heal their spirits alongside healing their bodies." She says.
With regards to the sahuagin, if Sal knows about their prisoner...
"What are you doing?" She asks, seeing the tied up sahuagin. "I may not have the best relations with such creatures, but leaving it without any water is torturing it." If there is somewhere nearby to cast a Create or Destroy Water. She seems slightly hesitant to save the sahuagin, but she doesn't revel in the harming of creatures in such a way. "They'll need treatment if you are wanting this prisoner to survive."
Once it is apparent that the prisoner either knows nothing or is unwilling to tell anything more, the Captain tosses him overboard. A splash and a quick glimpse of the fish-man's legs are all that is seen as he leaves. The Keel sails on, the rest of the trip uneventful until it arrives in Kingsbay. This is probably a port far larger than all the rest you've seen in the Moonshaes, with a wide variety of species intermingling with an unusual amount of calmness. Rivaling Baldur's Gate with it's hustle and bustle, it only differs from that esteemed port by the number of defenses it boasts. With extremely high walls, multiple chain sea gates and some very obvious magical defenses, it seems to have either had or has a need for them. After a couple of hours, a dock is found for the Silken Keel and unloading begins.

Rook begins to dance along to the excellent tune S'ika has conjured up while he continues to do whatever work he can to assist Sal. "Wow, S'ika, that was your best yet!"
As they pull into the new port, Rook eagerly watches from the side of the ship, his mouth open with awwww. "Wow, would you look at this place!!! Hey, anyone been here before? Can we go look around? What is good to do here? What are they defending against?!" He looks to his friends amongst the newer crew members but also asks the experienced folk like Master Glass.
As they hit the docks, Rook jumps off the ship and is eager to help tie her off, unload, etc. etc. to make sure he earns his keep.
Sebastian settles up with Captn and let’s him know that he is going to be staying here and in Kingsbay.
“Thank you for havn’ me Capt’n. I think I’m gonna try to go after those fish heads from the last port. That priestess got away from me and it’s jus’ not sitt’n right.”
[ooc]Ive found myself with less time noawadays and have been neglecting my PbPs. Sorry for that. I will be stepping down from this one. Thanks for running it GKnight. We had some fun characters to watch.
Sal's History recalls that KingsBay is known as one of the main hubs of trade within the Moonshaes. It typically has commerce with all the other islands, and is considered a very advanced kingdom. Not much else comes to mind as far as uniqueness. After Rook's efforts at unloading are complete, the Captain announces that they will be in port for at least a week, and that all crew should check back after the first week to ensure they know the actual departure. There are many of the crew who have family ashore here, and this is the normal port of call when the ship lies to.
OOC - I'm going to re-open recruiting, since we seem to be down to only two players.

"Hey Sal? Where did everyone go? Have you seen Bruz? He didn't say goodbye." Rook looks sad at this last part. "What are you going to do with your week off? Anything exciting?"
Rook also starts to ask anyone and everyone around the docks what is exciting about this new port and town.
"I will most likely be in search of the temple of The Lady of Mysteries to offer my services while here." Sal tells Rook. "You are welcome to join me if you want.
