The prisoner looks at Norr nervously but continues on.
Soon, you come to a left turn. You look to the left and you see it. A giant snake, coiled. It raises its eyes and glares menacingly at the prisoner and the party.

Brix selects another antler vial and pours some powder from it into his hand. Leaning forward, he inhales deeply. Raising his hand up before his face, he blows across his palm dispersing the powder.
“Norr, Brix you two put ‘em down. Thank you, his eyes were on me, thought I was a goner.” Dolmek grabs a handful of pebbles and crushes them using the stone dust to clean Singer before holstering it back on his side. He takes out his light hammer. In the light of the faerie fire he tries to get a feel for this chamber (era it was built in, who the builders were, any details).

Brix dismisses the spell and the violet light that had been outlining the snake disappears. He then helps Dolemek by using the glowing acorn he's been using to help Casrian see to provide better light than the spell did.
Brix hears Dolmeks request to Leo and pulls a small knife from his alchemists kit. He goes to the snake and begins to harvest various components he thinks may be useful to his studies. A bit of scale, some carefully obtained venom, along with the teeth. He works quickly and efficiently until he's satisfied before suggesting they all keep moving.
